As a former employee of this small company, I can tell you that the owner is not represented in the quality of work done. He uses and often abuses his workers by offering low pay and encouraging them to work slowly to make the move more expensive for the owner. He will toss certain workers off to the side even if they are more experienced than he is, for trivial reasons. The owner of this company is Not an experienced mover and instead seeks to hire experienced workers and then drop them to the curb for no reason. He tells many lies and I've even seen him keep customers broken items to keep from having to pay for them. I've seen the way he treats his employees and customers and this has caused me to resign. Anyone considering this company should read this review before giving the owner your business. Just because one job may have experienced workers with integrity, does not mean the next job will not be performed by complete novices and strangers even to the owner. Also, I know for a fact over half of the reviews for this company are either fake, or the product of superior workers operating under an inexperienced owner who seeks to take advantage of others abilities for his own profit. Any reviewer with Broadwater as the last name is fake, and a few others I know to be family members of the owner. Keep in mind Robert, the quality movers make you look like a quality company, without quality movers Make the Right Move is just another bad moving company. As an experienced mover who has worked for many moving companies and has a stellar track record, I can tell you this company has the highest turnover rate I've ever seen, and for good reason. The owner is a slimeball with a fake Christian demeanor, and a greedy manipulative personality. Yes, I use my real name in this review, so if you think I'm fake, come touch me on the cheek then. See, I don't hide behind the phone and this is what happens when you can't be respectful and talk to me like a man. I put you on blast.

Can't say enough about these guys. I hate having to babysit workers to make sure they do a good job and I didn't have to with these guys. They took pride in their work and it showed. They were all very courteous and worked hard. They were worth every penny.

I will start by saying that they did a great job moving my furniture and setting it up. The price was very high though. I got a quote on the phone and I had a simple move, did not even need the truck. I was expecting to pay $120 an hour, which would bring it to 240. However, the owner ended charging me $480! The work is good, the price is not, shop around.

I would give this company zero stars if that were available. This company backed out on us on the day of the move because there was a chance of bad weather later in the day. By the way, it rained for about an hour or less.

My family and I can’t recommend Make the Right Move enough. We just finished a two-day move with them, and couldn’t be happier with their professionalism, patience, flexibility and care. My parents moved across town with their antique furniture that they’ve had for over 30 years, and everything made it safely out of the old house and into the new one exactly where we hoped it would. All of my calls to Make the Right Move were answered or returned very quickly. In preparation for the move, Mr. Broadwater visited the “old” house and reviewed what would need to be done for the move. He and his team were flexible working with a cleaning team that we had helping, and made sure that we were informed of their process every step of the way. Once we moved to the new house, they did not hesitate to move items twice or three times until they were in “the right place”, and they made sure that all of the pieces were intact and in working order. What struck me most about the Make the Right Move team is that they were cohesive, constantly helping each other out, and extremely polite working with my family and with our cleaning team. Make the Right Move is a team you want to work with and that you want if you need a job done well.

Make The Right Move did an awesome job moving me out of my old house to the Aiken area. These guys were professional and got the job done quickly and carefully. The crew showed up on time and had us loaded and unloaded in not time. I had several heavy and big items, which they moved and nothing was damaged or broken. I was very pleased with there service and definitely recommend them. There prices was by far the best after calling several other companies.
