I had a home that was very tricky for moving. It was in an old Downtown Charleston home and all of my heavy furniture was on the third floor.. not to mention the stairs were narrow. I had a good experience overall with these movers and would recommend them to friends. The workers were dependable and polite, and the price was fair. They did a good job wrapping, packing and organizing boxes. My one suggestion if you use them is to ask them to be careful with the walls of your home. At both the apartment we left and the apartment we moved to, they caused slight damage to corner areas of walls in the entry ways. We had to repair and paint. We felt they weren't careful enough when carrying, but a reminder might help.

it is unfortunate that paying over $1,000 for people to come into your home and pack up your things doesn't get you any sort of peace-of-mind about the state your contents will arrive in. we didn't even have moving services, simply packing and loading... and we got to our new home and found a busted 65" television ($1100); two large/heavy busted lamps (over $125 each to replace); a busted wine goblet from our wedding (irreplaceable); a busted random wineglass; a busted bed frame (it's been repaired, but is no longer as sturdy); almost every piece of our furniture is now scratched and scraped to the point of needing to be refinished, many of which have actual chunks gouged out of the corners/frame. the guys that came in our home were super polite - but i would have rather had jerks and all of our belongings intact. we contacted the company (about the tv) as soon as we opened the door and saw the damage - Weston told my husband that it was NOT THEIR PROBLEM. we haven't followed up with the other breakages, as they were uninterested in assisting during previous conversation. so... we hired a company to help us pack and load our items safely... who takes no more pride in their business than leaving their customers with destroyed items... if i could give ZERO STARS, i would.

We’ve had over a dozen moves in the last 30 years, and I have to say, hands down, this was the BEST experience we’ve ever had! We had 2 move out days, 3 nights of trucks kept at their facility loaded with everything we own, an out of town move, and finally an unload day. Every step of the way was perfect! The crew is a group of amazingly kind, patient and hard working young men, it was actually a pleasure having them around! We have many antiques and irreplaceable belongings, many heavy boxes, and paintings, and china. One small item damaged, that’s it! Having a LOT of experience with movers, I can say, this is not your average moving company, they are far superior to any moving company I know of, and reasonably priced as well! Thank you so very much for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be using y’all again, and recommend you to everyone!

I booked their services online way ahead of time. I talked with them few times prior to the move, just to make sure they understood that my belongings were moved into the storage unit on a 52' trailer, so I would need two trucks. The truck that delivered my belongings was not full, but I wanted to ensure I had ample space for my things. The day of the move, I had tree guys show up to load as I had requested. They came with one 26' truck and 17' truck. They moved very slow, and by 2 PM, they said they can't fit all of my belongings in the truck, and the owner insisted that my storage units must have been much bigger than what I had told them. Also, I had the movers pick-up my temporary apartment furniture, and they did not know how to break apart my couches/recliners, and my bed frame. My father who is over 70 years old ended up taking the bed frame apart. Since they were not able to get all of my belongings out of storage that day, they had to come by the next day and complete it. I paid for the second day (he did give me discounts for both days). The movers did drop my armoire, so they are sending someone to look at it to see if it is repairable. I did give them 2 stars as the owner did provide extra resources at no charge and gave me discounts on both days, but I definitely will not be using them again! Just for reference, I have had professional movers move me 6-7 times, and this by far was the worst experience.

They showed great hustle and handled any challenges related to large furniture up narrow stairways and getting the refrigerator through tight spots. Everyone was great when dealing with this company. They were responsive and professional and they answered all of my questions. When the movers showed up, they were on time and moved fast. They were polite and professional. I knocked them down to 4 stars for the reason that when we unloaded our Uhaul, alot of our boxes labeled this side up where upside down. I also did not like the way the couch was loaded, but I spoke to the lead mover about it, and I agreed it was more trouble to fix it and it was safe. Just not the way I would have preferred it. I would recommend them.

I had these guys booked almost three months in advance... The day of they were late so I called, they told me the movers were out on a delivery. They scheduled a delivery even though I had been booked for MONTHS. Long story short, they ended up being THREE hours late. They would not refund me any money. They sent an additional mover at no cost, which is great and all... But they had no consideration for my time. Moving is stressful enough without your movers being late.

This wasn't the first time I have used this company to get a move done.. I'm sure it won't be the last.. I'm a collector. I have a large amount of artwork and collectibles, a lot of which are irreplaceable, all of which are either monetarily valuable and/or personally valuable. This time I had to have help packing. To someone like me, that's scary. I couldn't tell them which item was worth a hundred dollars and which item was worth thousands. So, from what I could tell, they treated everything as if it were irreplaceable... And there were hundreds of pieces. Moving is always stressful, that's a given. This move was a nightmare and I really needed someone to come to the rescue. Low Country Moving came to the rescue. Everything was done on time, professionally, and with care.
