Jimmy is a con artist. He took our money and then never showed up. Then wouldn't give us our money back. Offered to give us $2,400 back out of the $5,700- For doing nothing Any good reviews on here are fake for sure- I should have listened to the other reviews. Now we are out $5,700

We had to have a mobile home moved 90 degrees on a lot we own. They did an "ok" job moving the home but left the yard a total mess and we had to hire someone else to clean it up...PLUS they were paid more dollars than they initially said they would charge and didn't finish the job. We could not get them to even come back and hook up the A/C after weeks of promises. Going to have to now pay someone else to finish hooking up the a/c. since Jimmy is just ignoring my texts and calls now! My husband and I are in the mobile home business in South Florida and it is very disappointing to see other companies not doing the job they guaranteed to their customers.

I would recommend Capital Mobile Home. They are hands down the most responsive and easy going moving company I've ever dealt with. The office staff is diligent about responding to questions and honest about their estimates. The crew arrived on time and worked quickly and professionally. They only bill for the time and equipment used - my final total was less than the estimate! Moving is often really stressful, they made it seem easy - it was a pleasure.

Very poor customer service. Called the business 3 different times over 2 days and spoke to receptionist each time with a promise of a call back from the person in charge of price quotes but never received a call back. Obviously they don't need any new customers. Not wasting any more of my time going with another company who wants my business and will not recommend this company.

Excellent service, timely and professional communication! Don't waste your time waiting for other movers to call you back, just call Capital first. We needed our custom-built tiny home moved about 15 miles from Johns Island to Wadmalaw, no set up required, and we couldn't get anyone to call us back or to keep an appointment! But Capital answered the phone, they made and kept our appointments, and they evaluated our route and the drop site free of charge. The drop site had some tight turns and was densely forested, and because we built out over the hitch of our trailer, we had a limited turning radius. They told us they were concerned about the turn radius right away, and couldn't guarantee no damage to the front of the house, but they pulled off the job beautifully. The whole job took under and hour. I was extremely impressed with the skill of their drivers and spotters. Now, Capital is admittedly not the cheapest around, but believe me, you get what you pay for. If you're tired of being jerked around by other movers, just call them! We would certainly use them again.

And then they were terrific during the actual move, showing up on time and working efficiently, being very diligent and careful with our stuff, and generally very good dudes. Highly recommend.

This company has stolen our cargo. We are a Freight Brokerage. During a move for our client this company contacted them direct and arranged a side deal. They have systematically broke our contract and superseded all agreements. Lawsuit will be initiated against Capital Mobile Home Movers.

Apparently they do not want business! I called the first time, a woman answered really politely. I was simply trying to get a quote over the phone and she replied nicely back saying ok let me just get some information from you.... and disappeared... then hung up. I tried calling back 3 times no answer!!!!

DO NOT HIRE Capital Mobile Home Movers. They are not licensed or insured to haul or set up mobile homes according to the SC manufactured housing board. They pulled my trailer from Pineville to Bonneau without a permit, left it on a temp block for over 2 weeks, damaged the landowners property, damaged the trailer, set it in the wrong place, pulled their axles and now won't return calls! STAY AWAY FROM THESE CLOWNS!

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!! My family hired this company to move our house because it needed to be moved fast. They came out ready to work after being payed half of what they were going to charge. They moved one side of the trailer and came back the next day for the second. While moving the second they ran the side of the house against a tree and didn't finish leveling the house completely. After telling us he would be back to fix the damage and telling us to make a list of everything they were responsible for breaking, they left AND STOPPED ANSWERING ALL CALLS AND MESSAGES! We have waited for a response for a few days but still there's no response. They are tricking everyone and stealing money that they haven't worked for

***BEWARE*** THE ONLY REASON IM GIVING ONE STAR IS BECAUSE IT WONT LET ME LEAVE ZERO!!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY AND IF YOU DO, MAKE SURE YOU WAIT TO PAY BECAUSE YOU WILL WANT YOUR MONEY BACK!!!! This guy was our last resort on getting my family’s house moved in the time we needed. I really wish we would have read all the reviews before hiring this man and his company. All of the negative reviews are gut wrenchingly TRUE. I believe the five stars are from his friends that feel the need to upsell this man because he obviously doesn’t need any more business. Especially not until he actually fixes/finishes ALL of the houses of the people he has screwed over! They were surprisingly fast at getting out and getting started on the house. Evidently he never leaves one job for another but we found that to be terribly untrue. For some reason the FRONT half was moved first. Why? Who knows except the people with 40 years of experience of blowing smoke course. “I’ll get back to why that was an uneducated decision in a minute.” That part was a breeze except seeing my house look like the tip of a triangle from it bowing. That’s where the damage inside came from. “Ceiling cracked, walls in every room buckled etc” They ripped all of the gutters off, when told it was happening they continued driving. The truck they used had SEVERAL issues while moving the house and he actually had the audacity to get my husband to go get the parts for THEIR TRUCK. They set the front half on blocks and left for the next half. Tried to back the back half in the best they could and wound up having to back around the front half and drive through a tiny area to place the back when they should have just moved the back first! When backing in they busted the drywall on one of the exposed walls, ripped the molding off the bathroom door and hit everything in the yard in the process and much more. Once it was in position they put it on blocks and that’s literally where we are now a week later. They very poorly covered the top where the house was split and now my house is waterlogged/RUINED from all the rain. They left nails everywhere on the ground and freely all over the roof which have now all blown off into my yard. The man said on Wednesday that they would be back Saturday to finish setting the house. Saturday came and no one showed up and no one answered the phone!!! It’s now Monday evening and He has ignored us for several days. He did the same to a woman in a previous review but has sense responded to her after her negative comment! I suppose he doesn’t enjoy being called out? Well I don’t appreciate me and my family being left in the wind by this man!!! I can’t wait to see what his excuse is now. We have called SEVERAL TIMES and still nothing! He goes by MULTIPLE NAMES and is NOT registered as a mobile home mover in SC under manufacturing house institute of SC. If anyone else that has had a bad experience with this man would like to get with me and my husband to get a lawyer please find me or my husband on Facebook. ***BEWARE*** I should have followed my instincts with this guy. After a rocky start, I decided to move forward with this company. BIG MISTAKE!! I sent them almost $2000 as a deposit to move a mobile home. When they finally got to the home it got damaged by them (literally ripped apart). He blamed it on the age of the mobile home, which I took into consideration. However after all that....HE walked away, left the mobile home as is. Now he won't return any of my calls, he won't return any of my $$$$$, he won't reply to any of my e-mails. I'm now out of BOTH a mobile home and $2000!!! If he was a decent and honest business man, we could've handled this in private, but now I guess I'll see him in court!!! UPDATE: So this man Jimmy finally returns a call AFTER seeing my negative review. He sends me several vulgar audio messages where I'm referred to as a Muthaf#@Ka and a B*tch (very classy and professional business practice)!!! The REFUND he claims to have given me back had nothing to do with the $2000 deposit HE pocketed. It was payment "I" made directly to the "hardware store" after he insisted that I needed more supplies to move the mobile home. When the mobile home got damaged the following day, "I" insisted that he return the unused supplies back to the hardware store!!! It took him another two weeks to do that. Furthermore, he's upset that I'm damaging his "reputation". Dude have you seen your reviews??? 10 out of 12 are NEGATIVE!!! And I only posted 1. If I really wanted to damage your reputation...I'd a posted what the magistrate's office told me about you AND the website they referred me to!!!! FOH!!!

Moved our office unit from Jacksonville Fl to Santee SC in a timely fashion. The set up crew did an amazing job. The inspector passed their work within 10 minutes. We gave each crew member a $20 tip. Very professional and knowledgeable. We are very pleased!

As pastor of a small church, we purchased a modular building to add much needed space for a fellowship hall. We were on time constraints and had to move the building quickly. They were helpful to get it moved quickly, but that was the end of the helpfulness. They broke the building down and set it up on our property. It took quite a while to complete the set up and communication was not good. I have been trying to follow up to see if they have completed the job because I can still see a gap between the 2 halves. Even to an inexperienced eye, the job does not seem complete. One of the doors will not secure now, which leads me to question if it was set correctly. Multiple emails have been sent with no response and the number has supposedly been changed. I was promised professional service and it is a shame to handle the church in this manner. I had faith in this company in the beginning, but even the bible warns about putting our faith in man! Not pleased with how this was handled and praying this will be resolved! Update......Originally gave 2 star, but had to drop to 1! I received an email after the initial poor review with a bunch of excuses and blame on other employees and family members. I was given empty promises about making things right and have not heard or seen anything yet. Moving forward with outside contactors to try to fix this mess! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! I truly believe these crooks will find their due judgment and pray for mercy on your souls!

I called today to get a quote about moving a mobile home. The representative did not give me his name. He gave me a quote. When I explained to him I was trying to stay in a budget, he stated I will not find anything cheaper than than the quote he gave. I explained to him I knew someone who had a mobile home moved that wasn't expensive, the representative was very rude and disrespectful and told me to deal with someone else and hanged up the phone before I could say anything. The customer service with capital mobile homes movers is unacceptable. They need more training on how to speak to customers and dealing with the public.
