We had a great experience with Advance Relocation and Storage, and our representative Julie Chokos in particular. My parents had just experienced a major medical emergency and my siblings and I had to get them moved ASAP from their long-time home in South Carolina to an assisted living community in Florida. The timing couldn't have been worse as school was letting out for the year and trucks and crews were very hard to come by. The move was just one aspect of a very complex set of issues we were dealing with. Julie was so empathetic, responsive and diligent, and she managed to find us a truck and crew that made it all work despite the difficult timing. Thank you so much.

Just received my shipping with the majority of it missing. I could even tell the company here as they unloaded what would be missing. I noticed the employees of advance relocation and storage systems taking my belongings out of my apartment and not labeling them saying ‘they’ll do it outside’ safe to say all those items are now missing from my shipment. Carpet cleaner, my child’s toys and I dread to think what else they’ve stolen. Stay away, they’re thieves!

Avoid! Our furniture was needlessly scraped, gouged, ripped, torn, and broken because the wrapping was sloppy and inadequate. All the damage could have been prevented with properly secured wrapping. Not a professional company.

Nothing but rave reviews from us for the North American Van Lines folks on Ogeechee Road in Savannah! They handled the move for our daughter from Savannah to Hilton Head Island. The two movers working with her could not have been more careful. And just as they arrived at the new place on Hilton Head, it began raining. The rain was pouring, but they never complained. As each piece was brought in, so politely they asked “Where do you want this?” “Where does this go?” They were the best. I would trust them with the most expensive antiques to everything in the kitchen cabinet. Just excellent folks!

This company was hired to pack our move. Everything except 2 items arrived at our new location in one piece so this is why this rating is 3 stars not less. This was a PCS move and this isn't our first rodeo so we are well aware of what paperwork and responsibilities the Packers are supposed to do. This company refused to do the high value inventory with us even though we asked about 20 times. With our type of move we we're supposed to do a walk through up front to discuss. At the end they took A "guess" as to what boxes the items I told them that needed to be marked were in and wrote it in our sheet since we refused to sign otherwise. Almost all boxes were marked incorrectly or vaguely. They mixed rooms in many boxes and literally threw away and refused to pack my personal boxes. The Packers told us we were responsible for disassembling dressers with mirrors (which we know isn't the case). This was scheduled as a 2 day pack in a 2800 sq. Foot home and they sent 2 people the first day and maybe got the home 30% done. The next day they were over an hour late. The first crew had 3 people then they sent 2 guys over for lunch. They packed a room, ate the food I brought for the Packers and left. Packers were friendly but we didn't like that they didn't properly label or do our paperwork properly with us.
