(Translated by Google) I want to write my bad experience in Spanish, so i can prevent to Spanish costumer get the same situation: Yesterday I rented a truck, and even with an extra payment with Insurance Included. I needed to stop by the house before going to the place of removal of some household goods. When I tried to start the engine, it did not start. Apparently he had a battery problem. I tried several times, and it didn't start that way, I called Customer Service. After about 20 to 30 minutes they treated me, and told me that by text, they would let me know how long someone would come to try to solve the problem. After another 10 or 20 minutes, I got a text saying that they would check the truck in 150 MINUTES MORE. That is, I had to wait two and a half hours for them to get the truck fixed. After a while of waiting I tried to make it leave again, and the truck, after about three attempts, departed. I used the truck with the fear that it would stop again. And obviously with all that wasted time, I ended up too late to make the move. I decided to return the truck therefore, the next day after lunch. When I went to replace the spent gasoline, he arrived at the Service Station, obviously turned off the engine, and when I tried to start it, the battery did not work again. I called the office and this time someone after 20 minutes appeared to charge the battery. I went back to the truck and asked if renting a truck in bad conditions that made me waste time meant paying the same. And for my bísorpresa, I received in a bad way the following response: "You occupied the truck 24 hours so you are charged the same" .... Amazing! I do not recommend this place at all. Necesitaba pasar por casa antes de ir al lugar de retiro de algunos enseres. Cuando intenté encender el motor, éste no partió. Al parecer tenía un problema de batería. Intenté varias veces, y no partía así es que llamé al Servicio al Cliente. Después de como 20 a 30 minutos me atendieron, y me dijeron que por texto, me comunicarían en cuánto tiempo llegaría alguien a tratar de solucionar el problema. Luego de otros 10 o 20 minutos, me llegó un texto diciendo que irían a revisar el camión en 150 MINUTOS MÁS. Es decir, debía esperarlos dos horas y media más para que llegaran a arreglar el camión. Después de un rato de espera intenté hacerlo partir de nuevo, y el camión, luego de unos tres intentos, partió. Usé el camión con el temor de que se quedara detenido otra vez. Y obviamente con toda esa pérdida de tiempo, terminé muy tarde de realizar el traslado. Decidí devolver el camión por lo tanto, al otro día después del almuerzo. Cuando pasé a reponer la gasolina gastada, llegó a la Estación de Servicio, apago el motor obviamente, y cuando trato de hacerlo partir, nuevamente la batería no funcionaba. Llamé a la oficina y esta vez alguien luego de 20 minutos, apareció para cargar la batería. Fuí a regresar el camión y pregunté si el hecho de arrendarme un camión en malas condiciones que me hizo perder tiempo implicaba pagar lo mismo. Y, para mi bísorpresa, recibí de mala manera la soguiente respuesta: "Usted ocupó el camión 24 horas así es que se le cobra lo mismo".... Increíble !! No recomiendo este lugar para nada.

Although the gentleman behind the counter was polite, the service was terrible. I waited for over 15 minutes to ask a question with only one customer ahead of me. It's not the time I wasted there, it's the lack of common courtesy. There was what seemed to be a newly hired employee who made eye contact several times without acknowledging me or at least say, 'someone will be right with you'. I would have taken a simple 'Hi'. Another woman who had a badge around her neck (who worked there) dressed in business casual clothing entered about half way through my wait and proceeded to sit in a chair while the new employee answered phone calls. Then when I finally was helped, the price for the hitch install was about $50 more than their website stated and when I asked what the discrepancy was, I got a 'I don't know' and a shoulder shrug. I went to Pep Boys and got the same 2in class III/IV installed for $209. Thanks for not helping me Uhaul, I saved almost $100!!

First time going here a year ago they lost my registration and told me if I had an issue with it come back and find it myself. Then I went today to pick up a trailer and John at the front desk was helping me. For 40 minutes he tried to finish the paperwork and couldn’t figure it out, so he told me there was nothing he could do and I had to leave. When I asked if there was someone I could talk to that may be able to help or if there was other trailers in the area, he threw his bosses business card (Arthur Buoneo) at my feet and said if I don’t leave now then he is going to not on my account that I am banned from uhaul (I rent from them 7+ times a year) he then said if I call and make an issue of this he will be seeing me soon. Considering this man has all my information, it really made me nervous. Never again will I do business here.

Terrible experience, never going back to this location. The manager Arthur was yelling and swearing at a customer outside, and trying to start a fight. Arthur had a terrible attitude, very rude and embarrassing. He should be fired for the way he conducts business.

Rented a trailer and it was the worst thing I ever rented. I could not go above 15 miles per hour without dangerous instability. In fact I took my new car in to have it inspected afterwards. Awful experience

I rented a 10 Foot truck at the last minute to move a large 6 foot dresser, queen size bed and several boxes to a storage unit. The wait was short, the truck was readily available and the staff was efficient and friendly , and carried the moving boxes and handtruck I ordered out to my car for me.

So my mother in law made a honest mistake and the dog kettle couldn’t fit in the van. So she returned the van immediately and they would not just simply have her pay the difference instead they forced her to pay in full for the van she didn’t use and she put gas in it. Now uhaul has charged her for full for the van she didn't use and now for the truck that she needs now all for a simple mis-measurement. Thats what i call excellent customer service, honestly it’s quite pathetic. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Worst moving experience I've ever had. I got a voicemail from the location the night before my move saying that my truck wasn't available until the day after and they moved my reservation. They moved my reservation without speaking to me - only leaving me a voicemail the night before. Well, I had to be out of my place the next day, not the day after. I had to call UHAUL customer support for 2.5 hours to finally talk to a supervisor who found a smaller truck the next day in the middle of the day. I had to request to speak to a manager several times (all of this was at about 11 p.m. the night before the move). The smaller truck and the later time caused me to have to reschedule with the hired movers and caused many more trips back and forth with the smaller truck. I will never use UHAUL again. Absolute joke of a company that does not care at all about customer service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Honestly I have had good experiences with uhaul before this last move. After they made me buy their cheap ass lock, the key snapped off in it after I had taken it off. Ever single person I have talked to has been rude, from staff onsite, to customer service, to the supervisors . All I wanted was for them to comp me a lock, since their brand of locks couldn't even function. I've only opened it 5 times since I moved here.

For the last twenty years or so, when we got a new vehicle, I've had a 2" trailer hitch installed at this U-Haul in E. Providence. It used to work well but in Sept 2015, the hitch they installed did not receive my trailer or my bike rack as their hole size was reduced so it could use those flimsier half inch pins. I brought it back to show them the issues and they suggested work-arounds I would need to do elsewhere. They refused to fix the problem. To their credit, they offered to remove the whole thing and refund my money . Neither suggestion would get me a working hitch for the agreed upon amount however. The electrical connection they created was pretty Mickey Mouse, too, in that it was not mounted - just a stray wire back in the trunk under the tire. They charged $15 above their estimate for the standard hitch & wiring warranty. Lastly, they didn't think I'd notice that they used 4 (frame to hitch) bolts instead of the required six. I didn't think much of their customer service or technical competence. The manager was oafish. On the plus side, parking was good.
