Our family recently used G Metz to move, and we were very happy with this company. They were friendly and responsive when I phoned with questions, emailed all documentation/proposals/invoices, and the team of movers were great. They worked hard, were friendly, and everything arrived undamaged.

I have used G. Metz moving on three occasions. Absolutely fantastic service. Always show up early, professional movers. Amazing how they can move a safe and pool table so easily. Reasonably priced and well worth it. I was also surprised to find out that the first month of storage was free. Since I only needed three weeks of storage this was a huge. Five stars!

Quote was $1000 less than actual price paid. Big difference in cost when on a budget. When discussed on the phone no discount was given for the big quote discrepancy.

Prices were good, but the foreman named Scott was very rude and complained about the job constantly, and I actually walked up on the truck and heard him say that he does not tighten any of the screws for the furniture that he takes apart to move, and he was laughing about it, thinking since he knew I heard him that he would put our stuff back together correctly, he did not, our bed frame was loose as can be as well as our kitchen table. Other than that, the two other movers with him, Claudio and Lefty were great, very polite and worked hard. I am only giving 4 stars so I don't ruin the reputation of the company because of one bad employee, but look out for Scott, or make sure your watching him put everything back together.

The guys at G Metz are so helpful. They helped me move a hot tub, and 7 Rather LARGE trees. They also moved a water heater for my Company, and the prep work was longer than it took to do the job. Their attention to detail, covering Mahogany stairs with CLEAN moving blankets was amazing. The client was more happy with their job moving the heater than us giving them Hot water back . George Metz moving and storage is the first moving company that I have used that kept their word on the estimated price. The men at professional and the move was perfect. I have used them 3 times and never have to worry or have any concerns. The best company and most professional company that you can get! I can’t say enough good things about them.

Worst moving experience. I had my belongings in storage I was never notified that my boxes got wet. Many personal belongings were damaged. They broke my kitchen table. I tried dozens of times to contact the company but they never followed through on anything. I was also quoted one price but paid 3 times the quoted price. Movers were hitting on me and I could hear them dropping boxes. Work was sloppy and they left everything a mess. I was better off doing it myself. Save yourself the headache and pay a little more money. WORST company. Not professional, staff was rude, and owner didn’t care at all. Never doing business with them again. And I’m still missing many of personal belongings. What a nightmare.

Top notch service, from start to finish. I highly recommend G. Metz moving, and if I ever plan on moving again, George will be my first call. From our first conversation, George was cordial and honest, describing exactly what I could expect from his guys the day of the move. Some weeks later, and prior to our moving date, George personally came out to meet with me simply because I asked, and needed to be reassured about a few things. When moving day arrived, his crew arrived on time, in uniform, and worked tirelessly through scorching summer temps and humidity. The cordcrew was cordial, thorough and thoughtful. We had a few chuckles along the way, and they got us unloaded at the new place earlier than expected. I can't say enough good things about this company. They made a very stressful day much easier than I expected, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I was able to arrange an office move on short notice. The guys showed up in the snow on-time and were very efficient. The price was reasonable and they were able to move some pretty substantial furniture (especially the desks). They made the day pretty stress free!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They damaged multiple pieces of furniture, as well as my driveway. The owner will not return any phone calls or messages about repairs or reimbursement. The delivery guys were stoned when they arrived at the second house, they didn’t wrap any furniture, they were afraid to go up and down staircases with furniture. ABSOLUTE JOKE of a company and owner. See you in court George you joker!

I'm not one to write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one. G metz rate was pretty low but I guess you get what you pay for. I had a two day move and on the first day the movers took at least a 20 min break after working only an hour. On the second day my wife and I had a scheduled doctors apointment that we were going to be late for. The move had taken longer than we were told and I explained we needed to leave soon. I noticed I hadn't seen one of the movers named Benny for a while and went upstairs where I saw him texting in a dark room. I told him we needed to leave shortly and his response was " we all want to get home" and continued to walk past me. I told him "well I saw you texting, he then mumbled words and sat in his truck the rest of the shift. The forman told me he was done for the shift and said he would compensate me 15 min. Which I thought was ridiculous, and it never was credited to my bill. I called the company and they acted shocked and said the owner would call me back. The call never came from the owner, even adter I called back a second time. I was never compensated for the poor service. Not to mention my book shelf was damaged. I know next time to look for a reputable company and not to go with a lower priced unprofessional company.

• I hired G Metz Moving Company to move my furniture and household items on 10/27/2018. • Several pieces of furniture were damaged including a couch that was less than 6 months old, a leather electric reclining couch, a dining room table, a bureau, an entertainment center, a desk and an elliptical machine that no longer works. There are photos posted of most of the items on the document upload site. • A majority off the damages occurred when the movers neglected to measure the openings prior to moving the furniture in, the forced one of the couches through a door way ripping the back cushion off. I had the furniture company I purchased it from look at the photo and they said this could never be repaired to its original condition as it is sewn from the inside. I have also attached a copy of the invoice for the couch. Other items that were damaged were due to lack of protection during the move. The leather couch was damaged when one of the two men moving it jumped from the back of the truck while holding his end causing the other mover to drop his end onto the asphalt driveway. The entertainment center was damaged because it was moved around the truck and unprotected causing scratching on a finished end. A molding was broken off one of the bureau, one of the movers tried to repair it using glue to only make it worse, the molding is still not attached. • The lead mover, Nick told me he would make note of the damages and to call the office the following Monday as it was a Saturday move. • I called the office on Monday 10/29/18 and spoke with Amanda. She asked me to forward her photos of the damages which I sent for most of the damage. I was still moving in and did not discover some of the other damages until after the 29th. On 10/29 I sent the photos of what I had at the time. • Amanda assumed the damage was only to the couch based on what “the guys” told her. Nothing was ever done to make this right, false promises and lies.

Do NOT hire these movers! They drove the moving truck into an arbor and refuse to pay for the repair. They also tore a mattress all the way down the seam and then told me that it was like that when they found it. George is a super nice guy when he comes to look at your job then disappears after he takes your money. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else.

I am so glad I chise this moving company they were very patient (I had to move my appointment several times ) they were very accommodating! They 2 men that actually did our move never stopped they were very quick, polite and answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move. Their prices were also very competitive. Great Job!
