We have used Friendly several times and they have always done a great job. I would highly recommend. My only complaint is the "transport" fee, which is basically charging double time just for driving their own vehicle from the old place to the new place (which are close to each other). Not sure why there's an added fee when they're still on the clock anyways. This is a minor issue in the overall experience though--these guys are good!

The crew was great and did an impressive job. However, the management scammed us. A few weeks before the move, they gave us a quote for $160 (documented in emails). So I decided to go with them and tried to call to finalize the quote a few times. I could not leave any voicemail and could not connect. Then we finally got a hold of them 2 days before the big move from the other side of the country. Then they changed the quote to $290. By then we were on the road with our Penske truck and could not shop around for other movers. Beware!

What an excellent experience! Victor and the team of guys showed up early, moved and unloaded as carefully as if it were their own belongings, and finished early allowing us to have extra time back in our day setting up at the new house. Deb at the office was great to schedule with, responded promptly to my initial inquiry, ana provided details leading up to and inclusive of processing payment over the phone. And beyond reasonably priced! We won't be using anyone else next move, and will highly recommend Pittsburgh Friendly Movers. Thanks for everything!

A great experience. Used three people to load the truck, which we rented from Uhaul. Having a third person, especially if you're moving out of a house, paying for that third person is worth it because of just how efficiently they move. Have recommended them to friends, family, and coworkers many times since.

These guys sure know how to get work done. They were the best fit for us. We had 3 young guys who hustled. They showed up, packed their truck as fast as they could, and wasted no time at all unpacking everything. They made sure to ask us where all the big furniture was going and what rooms before they unloaded their truck. They were super friendly guys who chatted with us and our kids. They were very careful with our things and we had no issues at all.

The crew did work very well and hard for the 3 hours. At the unload, found some damage to the stove. I just wish they would have told me about it. Also charged $75 more to move a paino. I knew about the charge, but the crew asked for cash payment after all was loaded. I thought it was added to the Uhaul charge.

We had the crew of Mike and Seth and 2 more, sorry I forget their names, move our stuff on Sunday. Wow they are great. Don’t waste any time and were very helpful with a stop at storage with some of our things. Came a little early and communication was great. If we hadn’t made them stop for some lunch they would never have slowed down. Could go on how pleased we were with this move. Definitely recommend but don’t make them too busy because we will need them in a few months to move into our new house. Thanks again guys!!

These guys are the best! Maybe you should change the name to FriendLIEST Movers. Fast and efficient, well worth the money. The last thing I had them move was a case of beer into their car. Hope they enjoyed it!

Mike, Tyler and Seth were amazing!! They moved me in the snowy weather without concern. All three of them were immensely polite and respectful of myself and my belongings. They even shoveled the sidewalks!! I highly recommend Friendly Movers to anyone in need of help with the heavy lifting!

I highly recommend Friendly Movers of PGH to anyone moving in the Pittsburgh area. We hired two movers for two hours and I honestly thought we were going to have to request additional time, but somehow Stacey and Tyler managed to move all of our belongings within the allotted time. Not only were they nice and professional, they are truly unbelievable at what they do. My husband and I are still talking about how amazing it was that they can carry 3 ridiculously heavy boxes on their backs by themselves. Would hire them again in a heartbeat. I wish we could have taken them with us to Florida to help us unpack!

These guys are really wonderful, they've been with my family (parents, grandpa, siblings) through multiple hectic moves over the past 10 years and are always patient and professional. After years of moving between college apartments every summer on my own with a uhaul, I finally had them do a move for me this month and I'll never look back. They took really good care of my fragile stuff, worked fast and efficiently, and were super patient and kind. I didn't have to lift a finger. Adam is awesome and runs a great company, I definitely recommend! I'll be using them for all of my future moves.

If there was an option to give a 6 star rating I would. Freindly was so easy to deal with and they packed and unpacked us extremely fast and everything arrived in exact same quality as it started. No hidden fees and they even did a small personal favor after the job was done. All of this for the best quote we got from several moving companies in Pittsburgh. These guys made moving across the state stress-free. Friendly is the way to go.

Ran into a snag with the truck rental company and was in a bind the day of the move. They accommodated me without hesitation and literally saved the day and my sanity.
