Ron and his team were nothing short of excellent. I was in a bind with an out of state move and needed to prep my house in Pittsburgh for sale and was overwhelmed. Ron and his team performed multiple tasks, cleanout, moved some furniture to a friends house, deep clean, painting, arranging and loading a UBOX and more. This occurred in May-June 16 and I was able to make my move in early July. I am very grateful to everyone involved who participated in helping me and highly recommend Diversity Moving Co.

Ron and his team were absolutely fantastic in supporting a pack, move and unload of our 3 story home as we downsized to an apartment. Wow. Just wow. If you’re able to use Diversity Moving Company... DO IT!! You won’t regret it!! First, they gave me a quote within seconds of my call. And let me tell you, it was HUNDREDS less than other moving companies in the area. Then, the day of the move, they were there the minute they said they would be (no waiting around!!!). There were two young men that were moving my items and they were two of the absolute most respectful and professional individuals I’ve ever met. Also, with moving conpanies, you’re generally charged per hour and you can tell they take that into consideration. They worked quickly but also carefully to get my items moved. I’m moving again in a few months and will be using Diversity Moving Company.

I was yelled at, humiliated and told to "Take it or Leave it", less than an hour before my scheduled time slot. The speaker did not understand my accent, which is understandable during a phone conversation. But, nobody has the right to yell at another person, this happened when I tried to call and confirm the time of arrival. The speaker kept on yelling and asking why I called him again and again. He did not receive my calls and the trailer was already about to reach due to which I had to call several times. When I asked him to give me an exact time I was told that nobody would come to help me, which was followed by "take it or leave it". I tried to speak with him calmly, and he said "back off, lady!" As he continued yelling, I rushed to my roommate who is a native speaker so that I could get him to understand my situation (I had only one hour to load my stuff as the trailer was leaving on the same day-live load). If this is your first move or if you are not a native English speaker DEFINITELY DO NOT go with this group. Ironic name for the group, this was discrimination at it's worst. After talking to my roommate he calmed down and sent the help. While they arrived 40 minutes into the one hour slot, the two workers were courteous and helpful.

EDIT: Someone from the company reached out after my review to try and discover where the communication breakdown occurred. She was very thoughtful and clearly passionate about providing the best service possible to clients. She said she planned to review policies with those employees I interacted with and make changes for the future. Great customer service. Original: Had a great initial interaction with this company. They responded quickly to my phone calls and sent over an estimate. I was unaware the estimate was only good for 24 hours. I completed the list 3 days later and returned the email. However they did not reach out once I had completed the inventory list. I spoke with them on the phone approx 5 day before the scheduled move date and they said they were under the impression I was just looking for a quote. I explained that I would not have completed the inventory list if I was not interested. Thankfully there was another local company that had been in touch (repeatedly reached out via email) and were available for my move. Would not recommend based on the lack of professionalism shown in managing potential clients. 3 stars for the kindness shown on the phone and their willingness to help me out if no one else was available.

They packed the truck so well that we were able to take items that we didn't think we could. Paid in cash and got a discount, same amount I tipped the guys so a win for everyone.

We recently used Diversity Moving for a long-distance move from Pittsburgh to central Pennsylvania. They packed, moved and unloaded, including disassembly and reassembly of multiple furniture pieces. Their price quote was FAR lower than most other moving companies. On moving day they were pleasant and professional. All boxes were labeled in very specific terms ("kitchen box 12, baking and lids"). Fragile items were wrapped meticulously. Even though it briefly poured rain they were unbothered by this. When we arrived at the new home, they painstakingly avoided scratching any of the furniture or hitting any walls/doors. Excellent job, we would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I had around 50 boxes, dining room, kitchen and bedroom furniture and these men had it all packed and on the truck so quickly it was incredible! Ron and Ron Jr. and crew were amazing. There was a delay due to another company delivering my cubes (that’s an entirely different review, the opposite of this) and they were so flexible and patient while I waited for the cubes to arrive. I felt awful that they were waiting around for over a day but they were SO accommodating. When the three movers got here, they went to work right away and were extremely careful (probably more than I would have been!) and were able to unload two cubes and even help put some things together in under two hours. More than anything, they were some of the politest young men I have ever met. That, coupled with their strength and experience with maneuvering many different types of furniture, makes this the best experience I’ve had with moving. When I need to move again, there is no doubt I will be calling Diversity Moving Company!

These guys really rely on you to provide an accurate estimate of your stuff, but once they get going they are very fast and very careful. Not a scratch on my furniture, even difficult pieces. They showed up on time, were extremely polite, and got all of our stuff loaded on to the truck. We only booked them for a short amount of time and they got way more done than I thought. I wish I had the opportunity to review the actual moving services of this company, but I never got that far. The lack of professionalism of this company is unbelievable. I've never been spoken to as a customer in the way I was by this company. Part of the process involved with setting up a move with them is to complete an assessment of what items will be included in the move. I received this initial email, completed the form, and submitted my response. As far as I knew, I had done everything asked of me, and I was simply waiting to hear from the company as I was told by Ron the rest of our communication can continue through text. Because I never received any texts (or emails) about additional details for our move that's happening tomorrow, I called and spoke with Ron again to confirm the time they'll arrive. He informed me that because I hadn't responded to any of their emails that they had removed me from their system and had cancelled the move. When I (the customer) responded with frustration that this was happening due to the fact that I now have to hope we can work something out for the move we've prepared for, Ron chose to get angry with me for being upset. He shared that he keeps very good documentation in case situations like this arise, and continued to insinuate that it's my fault for not responding to any communication. It escalated to the point that I had to call out the incredible rudeness in his voice and that I would not be giving him my business if he kept speaking to me this way. He understood and I chose to end the call while I looked for any emails that perhaps had gone to spam before I would call him back. I didn't find anything, so I texted him to confirm what email he had on file. It turns out he did have the correct email, so there must have been some technical glitch that prevented me from receiving them. But he continued through text to suggest it's my fault and displayed over and over his lack of professionalism. I've included screenshots of the texts. I've never been spoken to in such a way by a company that I was ready to pay hundreds of dollars to the very next day. Based on the other reviews here, I'm sure the movers themselves are very good at what they do, but when it comes to professionalism and customer service this has to be the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with in my life. I would avoid this headache and choose someone else like I now have to.

I wish I could work with Ron and his Diversity Moving Co crew every day. Moving is a drag but Ron put me at ease every time I interacted with him from quote till delivery. At every turn in the process Ron was responsive...even late in the evening. Today was my move...everything went just as planned. I was well informed and didnt have to worry about a thing. Derek, Ron and Justin were so friendly and really took extra care of my stuff and the property. I am so pleased. They exceeded my expectations. Anyone can move your stuff, but not everyone will make you feel taken care of. My quote was reasonable and accurate. I will recommend Diversity movers to any friend or family member.
