I used these movers when I moved 1 1/2 blocks. Originally, they had given me a quote under the assumption that it would take 4 hours. It took 13! There was supposed to be a team of 4 movers, but only 3 showed up. They didn't bring a dolly with them, so I had to borrow one for them to use. When they left at the end of the day, they took the dolly with them! By the time they got to the new house and began unloading the truck, they were screaming and cursing at each other for a half hour nonstop, time which I was paying for! And then when they broke my daughters toddler bed, they stopped responding to my emails about fixing it. They did reduce the fee by 1.5 hours due to their yelling and other delays. Would DEFINITELY not recommend.

JC moved my apartment from Pittsburgh to Bethlehem. There's nothing about the whole experience I was unhappy with. The rates were very reasonable, JC is fantastic to communicate with, the movers were courteous and professional and made the process of moving a lot more fun than it can be with humor all the way. They also took excellent care of my furniture all the way.

They helped us move from Pennsylvania to Florida in 2015. This company is one of the most reliable and affordable moving companies on the east coast (very honest and no hidden fees). All of our breakables were packed away nice and tight and NONE of our items got damaged!!! I will definitely use them for future moves and recommend others to use them as well.

Extraordinary experience. It was a pleasure dealing directly with the owner JC. He was cheaper than all competitors but also the 3 men he sent did a quality job as well. They usually do 5 hour minimum on weekends he let me get 4 hour and the men did the job in only 3.5 hours. No scratches on anything no issues and everyone was very personable.

Representative Never came at scheduled appointment time. Never called to reschedule or to say he wasn’t coming. The main office called the day and didn’t even know the representative hadn’t come. I don’t think the company is reliable. Do not recommend.

I can't thank these guys enough for the great job they did helping me move. You won't find friendly, considerate, and professional movers for the very reasonable rate they charge anywhere else. They wrapped every piece of my furniture in padded blankets and plastic and handled everything extremely carefully. They arrived on time with a moving truck and worked nonstop on a near 90 degree day. Everything was packed, moved, delivered and arranged exactly where I wanted in just a few hours. Also, the communication is great prior during the entire process. If I ever need to move again, I won't hesitate to use this company. Moving is stressful-thank you for making it so easy!

The Culmer moving company was extremely professional. I could not have been happier with the results. They worked in terrible weather conditions. It was snowing and the roads/sidewalks were icy. My belongings were all transported safely to my new house and my carpets were kept clean in both locations. They were an absolute amazing crew. Thank you.

I would not recommend these people for moving. I hired two guys for a job that should have taken no more than 4 hours and they took their good ol' time about it, which resulted in them taking SEVEN hours to get the job done. One of them was 45 minutes late, which held up the day, but on top of them being extraordinarily slow, I had to help myself A LOT. I should never had to move that much furniture myself ... it was a one bedroom apartment worth of belongings. There were only about 3 or 4 pieces of furniture that required two men to lift. It was ridiculous. They were very nice people, but they should really find other professions. One moved as slow as a turtle and the other chain smoked all day. Don't smoke a pack of cigarettes while moving furniture. It may kill you. On top of all that, the owner sent his girlfriend to collect the money, which they said was almost double what I owed them. They ultimately ended up wasting more of my time for another hour, calling the police on me because I wouldn't pay them double. I ended up paying them the original quote and I really shouldn't have had to pay that much, as I had to do so much myself that day. Eight hours for what should have taken four. This day ranked in my top ten worst days ever.
