These guys are amazing! Was scheduled to move on July 5th and had movers cancel on me at the last minute. We found out end of day on July 3rd and July 4th is a holiday so we were screwed. I was actually referred to Portland Movers Company by another moving service who couldn’t do the job which is always a good sign. I ended up connecting with Natalia, one of the moving coordinators, and she agreed to help us *and* found movers with a truck

I have been using Christian and Portland Movers for the last 3 moves and I have zero complaints and tons of praise. They always arrive on time, they wrap everything carefully so nothing is ever damaged, they're constantly moving so no time is wasted, and price is exactly what was quoted with no surprises. Christian is one of the nicest people I've ever met, extremely pleasant to deal with, and has exceptional customer service skills. I would recommend them to those with large moves or even small. They moved several items of handmade furniture and a 1 bedroom apartment in less than two hours across town. Truly impressive. Just to start - I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Christian, JB, and their crew were absolutely amazing. We originally Portland Movers to load a POD when we wee moving out of our house of thirty years. Christian and his crew worked extremely hard and were very protective of our furniture and belongings. The first POD they loaded required them to work very late and they stayed until the job was done. I called them again about a week later to move furniture, and this was the week of the largest snowstorm ever to hit Portland. Because our house had been sold and the new owners were moving in, we absolutely had to vacate our house. With 10" of snow on the ground, they still loaded and moved our furniture enabling us to be out of the house in time. the city of Portland was completely closed and they could easily have blamed the weather for not showing up, but they braved the weather and the roads to get us out on time. I am extremely grateful to them.

Working with Portland Movers was easy, affordable, and largely pleasant. They were professional, answered all of my questions over the phone in advance, had clearly intelligible rates, and came to my home quickly to give me the most accurate estimate of my moving costs and time. They did follow-up work calling to confirm that my move was still going forward, they were accessible over the phone when a question arose for me, and they arrived at my home at the appointed hour with an extra hand on deck free of charge. They were fast and responsive to changing conditions, they overcame whatever slight glitches that may have happened along the way, the moments that none of us can plan for, and they were flexible with respect to meeting my needs as I expressed them. They're good local movers for a fair price.

So grateful for this company! I originally booked my move with All My Sons a week in advance, and on moving day (June 10th), they pretty much told me that they were too busy with other moves and that I needed to pay their workers overtime if I wanted them to move me on the day that I booked, or even the next day. All My Sons was already the most expensive rate that I had come by. I cancelled my move with them and called Portland Movers. I explained my situation to them and asked if it were possible for them to move me out of my apartment the following day (June 11th). They guaranteed that they would come by between 8-9am on the 11th, and they did! Christian and Isaiah were very friendly, and careful when moving everything, as well as wrapped up everything that could get damaged. It was amazing of them to come by at the last minute. They're reasonably priced, they're honest, and they don't overbook. I highly recommend their services.

The movers were quick! They didn't waste time. They walked through the house to assess what they had to work with and got to it. I appreciate that since time equals money. They even made a stop to deliver furniture to another location! I would suggest for future moves the following: wrap mattresses before placing them in the truck. Be sure to read labels on boxes even when you're dog tired. The guys placed pretty much everything in the corresponding room but I had a handful of heavy boxes placed in the garage when they actually were to go to the assigned room listed on the box. The sofa was taken apart and reassembled but put together incorrectly so it doesn't recline properly. Other than that, awesome service!!!! Price was competitive as well.

Murphy's Law definitely applied to my move lol but sometimes that is life and the movers constantly stayed in contact and were fast, efficient and very fair with their pricing. They did everything within their power to make sure they met their commitment and I'm grateful for it!

Christian and 3 other hard workers did a great job. They worked non-stop. They protected things well with furniture pads, and stacked them well in the truck. They protected banisters and doors in both houses with pads, so we ended up with no "dinged up" walls of doors. They even used booties when inside the new house to keep the new floors clean. We will definitely use them for any future moves.

So professional! All the parts of my home that could be damaged were covered and cared for. My furniture was all wrapped and cared for. There wasn't a ding on either the from or to home, nor any dings on the furniture. They worked very hard and were efficient. Cost was on point, I paid what I was quoted. Very happy :)

I have moved households 7 times in the last 10 years (military etc), so when this one came up I was dead-set on not doing the hard labor. Portland Moving Company showed up, and the team got all my large items loaded and unloaded exactly how I imagined a smooth move would go! Great rates, even worked with us to save some money by recommending less trucks and movers based on our situation. Another company would definitely NOT do that! A++, will call them again in a few years when I have to move again!!!!

I debated between a 4 and 5 star review and went w/a 5 because while there was a miscommunication that was confusing and a bit upsetting to us, it was ultimately a pretty modest issue and the company made it right in relatively short order and we greatly appreciate that. In terms of the actual move this team was awesome -- they were diligent, hard working, and careful w/our stuff, etc. We couldn't ask for more and would definitely use them again.
