I have to say having the guys (Jake, Mica and Austin) from Oregon Trail move us today was amazing! They showed up on time (even as a second project of the day) loaded the moving van, unloaded partial at one home and the remainder into a storage unit in an incredible time. The guys came prepared with blankets, stretch wrap..they were well prepared. They simply asked what to load and off they went. Everything was well taken care of and they made everything fit in the storage unit which was tremendous (I seriously doubted it would fit!). I highly recommend Oregon Trail, everything was easy, from scheduling via Yelp, confirmation via email and great pricing they are a winner!

This is my third time using Oregon Trail. That's how much confidence I have in their services. This time we needed our belongings moved from a 10 x 15 storage unit into a 16 ft PODS shipping container. I didn't think it would all fit, but Jake and AJ got it all in there, in one hour and 45 minutes. This is the second time Jake has moved us. He and AJ made a great team, and no matter who they send out, we have been more than satisfied. I have recommended Oregon Trail to 2 other families. Nick will get back to you right away, so if you get his answering machine at first call, do not worry. My only regret is that I cannot take this company with me to Massachusetts where I am headed to do my unloading.

Awesome group of guys. I contacted Oregon Trail rather short notice and they were able to accommodate my needs. My 16' POD was packed full and the two guys unloaded it and placed everything where I wanted it in about an hour. Everyone was very nice and handled all of my items with care. We used Oregon Trail Movers again completing our two-step move cross-country. We had a full 4 bedroom house furniture and a garage full of boxes to load into a Uhaul. The four man crew was prompt and had two crew leads (these guys have been doing this for quite some time and it shows). We loaded the Uhaul twice and drove it to the new house to unload. I would highly recommend Oregon Trail Movers for anyone who wants their move to go easier.

The Oregon Trail moving company is one of the best I have ever used! Being a single woman didn't have to worry about someone I couldn't Trust it felt like they were family from the get-go. They are courteous professional timely very well organized and did above and beyond and did everything with a smile! I used them to move me two days in a row each time the two gentlemen that came to move me where incredible and I am so happy to find such a company that is personable and caring!!! This review is from Shauna Del Valle in Lake Oswego, OR: People Beware: This company violated the ODOT laws and regulations for movers in the state of Oregon. I called Oregon Trail Moving and received an estimate over the phone for packing, moving, and unloading. I did not know that it is not legal for moving companies to give estimates over the phone. I asked for a written estimate three times and never received one. The estimate was for 2 movers at $80 per hour for roughly an afternoon’s work – 4-5 hours. The most I should have been charged was $400. Three movers arrived with 2 wardrobe boxes, and unaware that they were to pack the rest of my belongings. There was obviously a lack of communication between the office staff, owner, and the movers. They worked for about an hour and a half and then left for the day. They returned the next day with very old, used boxes and proceeded to pack, yet they did not completely pack, as there were drawers and cupboards left with items in them. The boxes were not packed properly and were capsizing. The one mover was verbally abusive, and I had had enough and told him to leave. He refused and I was forced to call the police. When I related this difficulty to Nick, he backed up his employee, and did not even apologize. The movers did not place my furniture as I was told they would do, and they were very disrespectful of my belongings, even to the point of leaving two antique lamp shades in the dirt outside my new home. The damages and/or losses amounted to almost $2,000. The final amount charged to my credit card was nearly $1600 for 10-1/2 hours of work, which should have been $840. I contacted Nick, and he reduced the amount to $1434. There is no way that the old boxes cost $700. There were specific ODOT laws that were broken: the verbal estimate rather than a written estimate; a written addendum to the estimate including the third mover, and the change in time needed; underestimating the cost for the service provided; “Ready to Assemble” furniture not having been disassembled before transportation; no bill of lading or any paperwork was given to me to include the “General Information Bulletin for Moving Household Goods in Oregon” and a valuation declaration and level of protection coverage document; and nothing for me to sign saying that the service had been completed. I still have no paperwork whatsoever. I put all of the issues, damages, and losses into a document and emailed it to Nick and his response was full of inaccuracies.

Nothing was broken and there was even time left for them to put together a few pieces of my furniture. Additionally, they were friendly and entertaining for the duration of the move. I hired OTM for a cross country move to another state. They did the packing of my apartment, all of my belongings with efficiency, humor, and skill. They packing team was fabulous, and Gerard, the owner was a supportive and knowledgeable ally throughout. When the team realized I should have gotten three cubes instead of two (they tried their best to fit everything in) Gerard was calm as I freaked out and walked me through all my options. We arrived at a solution that was workable, and the team helped to securely pack up my things in the third cube a few days later at a storage unit to ship separately. All through the process, beginning to end, I received information, support, and guidance. This is an excellent, skilled, responsible, and kind group of people who will help you pack up your things carefully and well. I highly recommend Oregon Trail Moving.

Great experience with Oregon Trail Moving Services! I had called a few companies before OTMS, but when I called OTMS, I felt a very different, warm welcoming and personal attitude. I was told that there was no upfront charge, and I would only pay once the job is done if I am happy with it. These people clearly love their job and I even got a call 24 hours in advance reminding me about the upcoming appointment. My property management company actually rescheduled my move-in for another day, last-minute. Nick was able to reschedule our move-in without an extra charge even within 24 hours. We had Chris and Andrew helping us move, and they did an amazing job! They were quick, careful with the furniture, and then even assembled and unwrapped everything. The flexibility and care this company demonstrates will definitely have us come back.

I had a great experience with OTM. My cargo arrived early and OTM was able to accommodate the pre-scheduled move ahead of time. My crew included King, Alex, and Jason. King was especially helpful as he arrived first and unloaded most of the cumbersome, large boxes by himself - he also put together my bed. I would use OTM again without hesitation - great rates, too. Nick, the supervisor, was very responsive and nice to work with from my end.

We had a great experience with these folks. Not only were they easy to schedule with, but they also showed up with one extra mover free of charge! When the crew arrived, they were all clean cut and very courteous. They introduced each of themselves and were quite friendly. After rolling out a red carpet to protect our floors, they managed to unload our entire Uhual and a 16-foot flatbed trailer in just an hour and a half. It was no easy task, as I had a lot of heavy metal working tools, including a 130-pound anvil and several sets of stairs in our home. We were doing a remodel and we hired Oregon Tail moving to help us load and unload a storage POD. Both teams that packed and unpacked the POD were excellent. They were courteous, friendly, fast and very careful of moving our furniture (they wrapped and covered our oak woodwork). Not a single piece was damaged. They also helped us with special moving requests (we put our TV and recliners in the garage doing the remodel). I gave them 5 stars because they earned it. The two men worked together efficiently and quickly. They loaded a 26 ft. U-Haul truck within a three and one half hour time frame. They packed it tight from floor to ceiling. This included boxes, tubs and furniture. The truck was driven from Vancouver, WA to north of Bellingham, WA. The load did not shift at all. They are reasonably priced as well. Thanks! again for job well done.

Having your daughter move from a western state to all the way to the Pacific Ocean is hard! Especially when you are on the east coast and can't help. Enter Oregon Trail Movers!!! My daughter needed unloading help and Jennifer and Nick were most accommodating. Jennifer helped me understand how many helpers and approximately for how long. Communication was clear and I was able to reach someone each time I needed to. She sent emails confirming the details. The unpacking day came and Oregon Trail sent texts confirming arrival window to me and my daughter. Then the wonderful guys showed up!!!! Henry, Jonathan and Gabe were amazing!!! My daughter called me in tears of joy as they were so relieved and happy with their help!! The 3 guys were incredibly efficient and ended up accomplishing all the unloading in less time than estimated. I usually don't write reviews, but this one deserves it. I read other reviews and it's no wonder that Oregon Trail is highly rated. I recently booked a moving date with them and everything from the online inquiry to follow up emails/calls were on point! On moving day, Jonathan and Colin came on-time, did a walk through assessment and got straight to work. Oh my goodness...was I impressed. I'm very meticulous and organized, thus am quite particular about my belongings. Jonathan and Colin went above and beyond to ensure that all our furniture was well taken care of during transport. And even put the bed frames back together better than they initially were. I was worried that movers would scuff up the walls, especially with our narrow stairways, but not a scratch by these guys. AMAZING work. I would highly recommend using Oregon Trail for your next move....and ask for Jonathan and Colin! Thanks guys!

My boyfriend and I moved to Portland from Sonora California and we booked Oregon Trail Movers to get us unloaded and moved into our new apartment. It was the best experience I’ve ever had with a moving company. Trevon and Jimmy met us at the apartment complex. They even showed up a few minutes early. They were efficient and fast, and handled everything with amazing professionalism. Not a single piece or box damaged, nothing out of place, no wall or doorjam scuffs Or marks on any surface. After the14 hour drive through the night to get here we were dead on our feet and Trevon and Jimmy were life savers. If their performance is indicative of the rest of the company this organization is top notch. The service and the experience were worth every penny.

We hired Oregon Trail Moving after recommendations from 2 of my coworkers and this was the easiest moving we have ever done. We utilized their services for load up only and had two workers for 3 hours to pack a 3 bedroom house into a 26' truck . The only person standing around was me. The two workers worked quickly and diligently wrapping furniture and carrying out boxes until everything was out. I would definitely use them again.

I can't say enough about Nick and the crew he sent to help us move. Jake, Gavin and Mitchell showed up at the time that was told to us and then went right to work. They were courteous, pleasant, and were super careful with what they were moving. At no point did we feel that anything would end up damaged. they also asked us questions about certain items as to make sure that it was done the way that we wanted. I also want to add that I had to change our move date by a week due to me falling ill and Nick was more than accommodating on this with no extra charges. If you're going to be moving this is the company you want.
