We are a military family and have moved 21 times in the past 30 years. 3 years ago we used Jtr of OKC and were satisfied enough to leave them five stars, so I felt comfortable utilizing them again. Awful mistake! I'm not in the habit of leaving one-star reviews but this was easily the very worst move we've ever experienced. I hired four movers for four hours, the exact same of people and hours I utilized for the exact same move three years ago. We have the same amount of furniture, etc...and the past move was accomplished in under the four hours. This move, the warning bells went off early. For starters, every time I moved from one room to another there seemed to be one or two movers standing around. My neighbor actually noticed this and texted me to say the same! Next warning bell was how sloppy the truck was loaded. The guy in charge was joking that I had too big of a truck for my move, yet he loaded so poorly that at the three hour mark, he informed me a SECOND trip would be needed! Returning to reload, the supervisor got into a heated argument with one of the loaders and for twenty minutes, I was hearing "come at me, bro" and "I'll roll up on you at your house" while the crew STOOD AROUND! The supervisor told the loader, along with another who apparently sided with him, that they were done and could find their own way home. We are now at the FOUR HOUR MARK and my truck is due back in an hour. So I get to my house with two of the four movers I paid for, they do a quick unload and inform me I owe for an extra hour. The supervisor gets on the phone and whoever is on the line says $100 cash will do it. At this point I have 20 minutes to get my truck back and know I will have to pursue this later. Next problem....I get back to the house I'm moving out of and THEY HAVE LEFT A FREEZER BEHIND!!! I had pointed out the freezer in particular and told them to load it last so it would be first off. Well, they never loaded it!!! And while we were at my new home, I pointed out where the freezer should go, not realizing it wasn't on the truck. But they must have realized it because they loaded a bunch of boxes in from of where I said to put it!!! Finally, I have a number of damaged items, including a dining room table with a chunk out of the top, a table my wife spent weeks redoing last summer, as well as beds which are dinged up and damaged. I paid for a dozen blanket sized move protectors from UHaul, when I was sweeping the truck to return it I saw they had used only ONE! This is ridiculous. I would have been better off hiring people off the street. I would give less than a star if possible and believe me, I'm sharing my experience with everyone I know.

I originally called and told them I thought I needed two movers for three hours. This is where their experience and care for customers shined. The gentleman on the phone asked me what size truck I had then stated he was going to send two guys for two hours. This was clearly showing tremendous integrity over profit. The movers he sent were on time, courteous and extremely efficient. I would call them again in a heartbeat.

Eric's team was the BEST. They did an amazing job. Got here on time, and got three trucks unloaded in under 3 hours. If you're looking for help loading and unloading in OKC these guys are legit. I plan on using them the next time I move If we move again.

Guys showed up 30 minutes early. Great! BUT then went way downhill... They said they had to leave 2 hours early because they scheduled someone else. Ok, so the next day they came 3 hours LATE!!! Then at the end of the move they jacked the price from $35 per hour for two helpers to $45 an hour. To top it off, the owner basically stole property from me by promising to pay for it, then kept saying, "next week, next week, next month" then told me to come pick it up because he doesn't want to pay for it anymore. Ok, yeah I'll just swing by 1200 miles for that... Deceptive, dishonest, and a dip$#!t

I highly recommend this company for all your moving needs. This is a one-stop-shop for a do-it-all service. I have used JTR several times and receive excellent service for both loading and unloading help. Each and every time I have scheduled with them, I have been provided capable, caring and hard-working individuals that worked diligently and tirelessly to ensure that our needs were met in a timely and compassionate manner. I was also exceedingly impressed with their ability and willingness to work around unexpected schedule changes. We provided bottled water for our movers who were extremely appreciative and truly went above and beyond. The company's owner, Rick, provides fair and competitive pricing and always works hard to make sure his customers are well taken care of. In the off chance that any items may be damaged during a move, he also carries insurance to make sure YOU are protected. Don't waste your time or money going anywhere else.

Used them for a short move, movers were high and could smell weed on them, they damaged my new couches and ruined my new TV. After weeks of going back n forth arguing about things and liability the owner offered to send $50.00 to make it go away instead of bringing legal matters into affect. Still haven't seen the money after almost a month and a half. Do not use this company.

Not good. Not on time. Might not show. Does not call to let you know what’s up. You’re wasting your time with this outfit. They told me they would get er done. Thumbs down. They are not organized. Rude! Forget about it! Go to the next mover.

Slow workers that results in higher charges than originally quoted. Did not pack the truck correctly and damaged my expensive bedroom set. When I contacted the owner they said they would have their insurance contact me. Insurance never did. Contacted the owner many times my issues were never resolved, and my furniture is ruined. STAY AWAY! Buyer beware!

We have used this moving company 4 times now. I highly recommend them. They are on time and polite and get the job done without damages. The owner is amazing and follows up to make sure the customer is satisfied. I will for sure use this company for our moving needs and recommend them to all my friends and family! Thank you JTR for helping my family.

Don’t hire these guys unless you want your furniture and home to be destroyed during the loading process. They all but destroyed a $4000 bedroom suit along with numerous other items and knocked holes in my walls loading my furniture!

I was only going to leave a one star review untill I saw the owners response to my review. I scheduled JTR to move me two weeks ago, called many times the company or owner never answered the calls left voice mails and no response! The movers came out 30 mins late on the day of the actual move, said they had the tools to dismantle my furniture, that was false the two kids that came out had nothing at alla My bed and dresser was damanged in the move by your two movers even after supplying all the necessary supplies. The moving truck was not packed properly things were just placed wherever and I had to make a second trip my self to dismantle the things the movers couldn't dismantle or take because of the way the truck was packed. Also the owner must have thought I was one of his former employees and responded with some crazy response , This right here speaks volumes on who the company is hiring to move everyones things.! Obviously the owner is hiring is Garbage. Same as the owner I would definitely recommend if you are considering using JTR to use a different moving company! I would recommend anyone reading this review to use another company. Also after your unprofessional response to my one star review I have personally went out of my way to write a review on Yelp and finnishing up a YouTube video of my damaged Items now. And I will be filling a complaint with the BBB. Thank you for taking the time to review my experience with this terrible company.

A big thank you to Rick, Joel, and Seth. Jtr was very accommodating when I needed to reschedule my move not once but twice. Joel and Seth were on time, efficient, and so polite. My furniture and boxes were handled with care and stacked neatly. I strongly recommend using this company!

I just have to direct you to read the reviews for this place on U-Haul when you reserve a truck, more specifically, read the responses to any negative comment. Whoever manages their responses, presumably the owner, has a horrible attitude and cannot accept any kind of criticism without responding with retaliatory and often derogatory comments toward customers. No way I would want to work with someone that responds to every customer that has a complaint like that instead of simply letting it go or just apologizing that they were unsatisfied with the service provided.

The owner JR was the rudest guy I’ve talked to in entire life. Movers did not show up at all while our items where packed in moving boxes. When I talked to the owner to address the issue, he just emphasized over and over about the fact that he does not accept criticism on what they did wrong, all I heard from him was his personal issues from his past to present. I just felt sorry for him an hung up. JR and his team are extremely unprofessional and should close down their company, they will not take responsibilities for their wrong doing. The good reviews on their own website is an absolute scam by the owner.

I used these guys awhile back , they were amazing! showed up on time and did an overall great job. Eric is the only name i remember he was working extremely hard and was super kind. would defiantly recommend these guys to anyone in OKC area.

JTR was great ! I would use them again and would refer to friends and family for assistance with moving! On the morning of the move -Torey called to say he was on his way, arrived early and worked until we finished. He was organized, knowledgeable and a hard worker! TP

Jordan, Joel, cody, and seth were so respectful, polite and VERY hard working. They loaded up my 26' truck from top to bottom to it's MAX. Where Do I even Begin With this Unreal Marvelous Company. I will start by saying I have been diagnosed with stage 4 Breast Cancer and the Doctors have given me a year left to Live. I wanted to Move to Missouri to spend what time I have left with my dear sweet son. I didn't have a lot of Money to do this and was gonna have to drive a 26 foot U-Haul Truck Pulling My car behind this massive truck. I'am very sick from doing Chemotherapy and was very worried about me being so tired and so sick from Chemo. I was willing to Risk what little time I have left with my son and taking the chance of me totaling out this big truck along with totaling out Me lol. I Hired this Moving Company to come and Load the U-Haul Truck for me when the owner Rick asked me who was gonna drive the truck for me to Columbia, Missouri I said I was gonna have to do it cause my son wasn't able to come to Oklahoma to help me. This very Kind man said Mrs Wells I will have my boys that Loads you drive you their and unload you for just the cost of what your paying to load and unload you in Columbia. I was beside myself with this most generous offer and this Kind man did exactly what he said he would do. He sent me 3 guys Chad, Tyler and Sam these 3 individuals was so amazing If I had the money they would have each gotten a 10,000 dollar tip from me. They were so Kind and gentle with all of my furniture and even help me finish packing my stuff cause I wasn't all packed due to me being so sick. They drove me to Columbia, Missouri and unloaded me and even returned the U-Haul for me. I'am here to say this Company Has done nothing but plaster a permanent smile on my face that will still remain on my face long long after i'm gone. If your in need for a moving company and you don't hire this company then all I can say is Sorry about your bad luck cause you should have hired this company. My best to your hole crew Rick God Bless all of you ten folds for your Kindness and most awesome generosity I can never thank you enough for sending me the most precious 3 Angles to help me they were so so Professional and was amazing at being efficient and WOW is all I have left to say. A very very Amazing company for sure.

The gentlemen who came and helped us were great. The owner was horrible to work with. The team was 5 hours late!!! They never even called to tell us they would be late. We only found out when we called them after they were 2 hours late. The owner then tried to charge us for extra time with no apology for being late. He was very rude on the phone. I would not recommend this company to anyone due to the owner.
