Best company I have worked for. They care about there people and try to help as best as possible. The haters are the ones that think they should pick and choose there runs and be home anytime they want. Well the trucking world don't work that way..if you don't like it, go back to working at McDonalds part time

They did pay for my schooling for my CDL. Careers World Wide is an excellent school with great teachers. After graduation, CRST paid for 7 of us to drive in rental cars from Colorado to Oklahoma. They told us to leave Fri afternoon knowing we would be in Oklahoma City around 3am the next day. They told us that we would have hotel rooms reserved for us. When we got there at 3am that next morning. They said they had our reserved room available at 11am later that morning. We had to then wait till Monday to start orientation. After orientation which was 4 days long of really just sitting in an office watching movie clips on how to be a safe driver. I, along with most of my group were moved to a lower end motel to wait for our training lead drivers. I had to wait another day to find out that they would send me on bus to Baltimore Maryland. Another 2 days of travel instead of renting me a car. I get to Baltimore and I had to wait another day before we finally got a load. Me and my lead driver. Dropped that load of and we have to wait almost 2 days for another load. The lady gave me an advance on my paycheck. I used most of it to pay for a taxi to the bus station and from the bus station to where my lead driver was. Expecting to be reimbursed. Apparently an advance isn't an advance but a loan that you have to pay back! So no reimbursement. Now my lead driver has been extremely helpful in financially taking care of me. Buying my food and even paying my cell phone bill. But here I am waiting from Monday night, yesterday, today, and then tomorrow is Thanksgiving. So if we get a load on Friday then I'll be able to start making money again. If there's a load available. All to top it off that I'm making only 25¢ a mile. When my contract is up I'm leaving CRST unless they're willing to renegotiate my pay rate. If you're looking to work with CRST they're trucks aren't that bad. If you have experience then you may earn more than me. My experience just hasn't been all that pleasant.

CRST has too many canceled loads. Too much down time for teams wanting to drive. Was told we were in the 1+ elete team (best of the best) and list as status "Q" which means priority status for miles hmmmm... We have been in the negative more than positive due to down time, canceled loads, toll expenses, FUEL costs, etc..... On a good note, we liked our DM and she really tried to help us, but when every other load cancels, there isn't much she can do. They also route you home when home time is requested no questions asked. Glad they have a 20 day notice for Lease Ops.. we are moving on to bigger and better things.... God willing. If you choose CRST, GOOD LUCK.

I don't care what anybody says about CRST. The Co helped me go all the way to get my feet wet as a rookie truck driver, and to gain needed experience. I give them five stars for keeping their promises and for friendly experience. My trainer was exceptional.

My first company that broke me in to the industry. I had a great lead driver, codriver, and dispatcher. I guess it was the luck of the draw but as long as your on time every time I averaged 3200 miles depending on hours, traffic, and weather. The pay isn't that great starting, but the experience is.

WoW!!! Just how safe is it to drive on West bound I-40 with CRST trucks on the road? Not safe at all when they decided to take a governed truck into the left lane, WITH BARRELS, CONES, LEFT LANE CLOSED SIGNS, & A LIT UP ARROW POINTING TO RIGHT LANE IN FRONT OF THEM, to go around people that are coming the posted 55 MPH speed limit. Oh, & run them off onto the shoulder right before going over a bridge. Thank God I was with my kid, my daughter, while she was driving, & I had her slow down as soon as the CRST got into the left lane. Better that than down at the bottom of the hill & rolled over. 6:18pm 9/13/2017 Around OK MM/35

Actually had a great experience here this go round. Dropped a load. Checked in for repairs. Not a long wait to get in the shop. Did laundry while waiting. Got some food and ate. Watched some movies in very nice lazy boy recliner chairs. Drink coffee before truck was almost finished. Owe also had a great S.S.S to be fully fresh and clean. Once all done so was my truck. GREAT JOB CRST Maintenance

If You Work here Pray for a Driver Mgr who cares because "on paper" CRST seems to be a great place to be employed, but my experiences so far with too many people in positions of responsibility has shown that they'll kick you to the curb without a second thought. It seems that there may not be an adequate system to monitor how new people are treated in this system.

Do not sign any contract with this company! There's a reason they're famous for being a bad company. To be fair most of the employees are good people, it's the policies and paychecks that are bad. I worked for the company for 6 months, I only got a speeding ticket (a mistake, I'm not a reckless driver), I was told I wouldn't be fired for the ticket. 7 weeks later, they fired me for the same ticket and I owe them $6,500! If you're going to work for them don't do it under a contract!

I really appreciated the incredible experience going beyond the Call of Duty for helping me with all my needs.
