A team is currently on a job site moving offices for us, and two of the movers proceeded to yell at me. So disrespectful to put blame on your client when this is your profession. I’m sorry but you all could have planned ahead a lot better. Also stop taking smoke breaks.

We moved from Oklahoma to Tennessee. Everyone on the A-1 Freeman team was wonderful to work with. The person who estimated the move, the office, the driver and the packers were all professional and helpful.

The gentleman that came to our home was fantastic, he took a lot of time to bid the job and thank god offered the optional insurance. The packing from our original home was good and completed the day promised. From here however things started to go down hill quick. the delivery driver was almost a week outside of the targeted window. Once arriving he told us that the truck he had transported our furniture in had broken down. He was forced to re-pack another truck and the care was no where near that was taken on the packing in the first place. Once my furniture arrived my kitchen table was damaged my couch was torn and our brand new bed was leaning against the trucks rolling door which in turn was covered in grease. We created a claim against the insurance which when sold was stated that if things couldnt be repaired they would be replaced. Its not been several months since the delivery and my furniture is still not taken care of. They sent me a check and I was not responsible for figuring out how to find a place to make the repairs. This has been a total inconvenience, the bed stains were not all removed to I called the company, now they are saying its going to be 45-60 days to review the claim. The moral of the story over promise and under deliver. I wont have a answer on my replacement for almost 5-months since the final delivery. Its not a wonder that movers get a bad reputation they get what they deserve.

I moved from OKC to MD in 2013 when I used their service. There was np problem with getting an estimate. Two men came to pack, one older and, supposedly experienced and, a young man, new at the job. I found the young man far better at the job he was doing with great attitude as well as work ethic. The older worker complained constantly about his compensation, took too many smoke breaks and, did a poor job. The goods sat in their warehouse for a long time, gathering dust, before they were shipped. The unloading, when the goods arrived 3 weeks later, was a nightmarish experience. The 2 men helping the driver must have been picked up from the wayside. One of them complained the whole time about the distance from the elevator to the apartment. Let his sweat drip wherever, including the screen of a Plasma TV! It was gross. Several items were damaged and, every thing was soiled. I would never use them again.

Update!!! I have moved two more times (one cross country & the other only 86 miles) since the move with A-1 Freeman back in 2014 & stupidly used other companies. I will NEVER make that mistake again! The other two moves were hideous & nowhere near the level of service provided by A-1 Freeman! Use them!! I have never moved this far before but can't imagine it gets any easier than this! My agent, Bruce, was timely & efficient in his evaluation of our household goods. My packers were amazing! They were extremely efficient & careful. Out of the 11,000 lbs that was shipped from Oklahoma to Ohio, only one thing was broken & they didn't even pack that item! I can't say enough how fantastic the guys on the loading/unloading teams (both sides-Oklahoma & Ohio!) performed. Everyone should use A-1 Freeman if they want a seamless, flawless move with their possessions leaving & arriving intact!

They STOLE a $1,500 item! There is absolutely no doubt that they stole it during the packing process. Bruce even went as far as as trying to claim that we were lying. It had a lot of sentimental value as well. They only paid $36 on it. There were other small items that "disappeared" also which were glass and I assumed were broken. They scratched our new wood floors in numerous places and some of our furniture. The only thing we filed a claim on was this $1,500 item due to its sentimental value and value. They were rude to work with to the point of belligerence. Bruce their sales rep would not call me back. Adam their manager was rude. Once they have your money they are done with you. They have you sign off and pay for their services and that all of your things have been delivered which is impossible to know unless you unpack everything in your house before they leave. DO NOT USE THEM!

Horrible experience. When the packers arrived (two young women) they packed the house and left quickly, and after scanning the house, we found several items that had been left behind. Not too happy about that but we packed them ourselves. After unpacking at our new house, we noticed three of our kitchen items, totaling around $1k, are all missing (obviously stolen during the packing process) and weren’t even listed on the sheet- which was hard to notice When they’re rushing you to sign off on more than 300 items all at once and you can’t even see what’s in every single box. Each of the items that disappeared was in its original box, and one was even brand new. Will be filing a claim

My moving experience with A-1 Freeman Moving Group was fabulous. My move from OKC to Tyler had been planned using family and friends. Those plans fell through one week before I needed to move. I called A-1. Bruce N. came out and gave me an estimate for the move (approx. 8000 lbs). The professionalism shown by each member of the A-1 Freeman Moving Group from that day until my items were delivered in Tyler TX was exemplary. The moving crew was FAST, but efficient loading my items. I could not find any damage to anything they touched. They were punctual for the pick up and the delivery times. The extra pickup enroute was handled beautifully. I have nothing but praise for Hollis (the driver) and his crew. If I ever have another move in my life or if a friend needs to move, I will highly recommend using A-1 Freeman Moving Group to get the job done correctly and efficiently. Thanks guys!

Very unprofessional delivery drivers. The A-1 team double booked us and did not show up for 3 hours to and from our new office. Then they attempted to charge us for the entire day, and broke some furniture. Thought going with a larger group would have been a good idea. All I learned from this process is that I have to pay more money. 1 Star!

Pcsed from fort hood to fort Lewis. Multiple boxes missing now discovered months later. Even have someone else's rubber mats! The movers that unloaded us at Lewis area said meh, you got new mats! All our pool pump parts and wives swing is MIA! That's all I noticed so far! Cant claim it because it's been more than 90 days! Tons of broken furniture and sentimental items. Q

We had a great experience with A-1 Freeman for our move from Fort Worth to Oklahoma City. Estimator, packers, and moving crew were all courteous and did an excellent job. The office staff kept us informed every step of the way, and worked with us to extend our storage time while we were searching for a new home. We will definitely use them again!

The crew was responsible for delivering the household goods of a soldier. The crew arrived late and complained early! They didn't get here till 10 left at 12 and didn't come back till two and was leaving at 1700 with no boxes unpacked! Post housing office was called with a concern around 1300 as they were not back. The soldier did not want to argue with these guys about there job as they were extremely lazy and very very rude two left and were gone for 5 hours. one even got an attitude and became extremely rude when the soldier would not sell him her extra washer and dryer. So finally they left, did not unpack anything, did not put any desk, beds or any other furniture together......just left it in the middle of the floor. This company is paid to provide a service for the soldiers it moves.....and then their crews treat them like dirt. I would not recommend them to anyone.

We have had 2 broken appointments with this company. The explanation provided was using a family members death, however, after the 2nd time, the same family member died a 2nd time and was related to a different individual. Sound fishy.... ??? Would probably have given them the opportunity to ask forgiveness but they did not even bother to call and cancel / reschedule the 2nd appointment. We obviously did not use them and would caution anyone who might need a mover to ask this company for a quote.... Beware ~

I won't use them again, nor would I recommend them. Nothing against the movers themselves (the actual people doing the work) but rather the blatant overcharging they do. I received a quote for $680.00 to move a 1000 Sq foot apartment. All said and done it took them almost 7 hours to move my apartment, which was already boxed up and ready to go, to a new place 8 miles away. Then I got the bill, over $1000.00. When I called my move coordinator, who coordinated nothing as far as I could tell since the movers had to ask me where they were taking my stuff, she informed me the advertised "highly accurate qoute" was a really a vague guesstimate and varied by the amount of time to complete the move, which of course is charged by the hour. How surprising that it took all day to move, all became clear. Don't use this company. They will drag out the move process to an all day affair to keep the meter running and massively overcharge you. I will use local companies from now on.
