I hired this movers to help me move my furniture and boxes. My movers were professional and careful with my stuff. They helped me to assemble my furniture and had all necessary equipment. This company had excellent service. Before arriving they called me and arrived on time. Everything was delivered in perfect condition. I had great experience! A reply was received quickly, 15 minutes and all the details were already agreed and a moving crew was booked. The movers were on time, they reminded in advance of their arrival, we quickly signed a contract and they began to work. Everything was very fast and painless. I tried to book my move with Alex but ultimately decided to go a different way. Alex originally told me there was a $65 per hour price for two movers labor special, this was really affordable so I wanted to book immediately even with a four hour minimum & $50 reservation fee (additional cost, not deposit). However, I did not like the way he spoke to me over the phone, he mansplained what moving even was "we have to physically come in, carry items out, put them in truck" & interrupted me frequently. He made me send him individual pictures of the rooms with items that we needed moved. After receiving the pictures, he then upped the hourly price to $85 because he said we would need the 17 ft truck instead of the 14 ft truck. I had reached out to multiple companies for quotes & no one spoke or treated me as poorly as Alex did. I was even willing to pay the $85 an hour, but then he tried to tell me it would take over 4 hours & that the quote was based on the value of the job, the reservation fee was actually a travel fee, ect - there were too many inconsistencies. I have used professional movers in the past & have never taken over 4 hours for a 2 bedroom apartment move.

Used this company in June. 4 stars for the movers and 0 star for the company. The movers are not the most professional movers I've worked with, but they showed up on time and worked hard. However, I would not use the company again because of the guy (I think his name is Alex) who I booked the appointment with. I had a terrible experience with him. I was moving from a 2 bedroom apartment to a one bedroom apartment in the same zip code area. I contacted a few moving companies and they all have 3 hour minimum policy. I called this company and talked to Alex. He told me the rate for my move is 99 per hour and confirmed the moving date. Before I paid him the $50 deposit , I asked him what's their minimum hours for moving. Alex said they normally have 4 hour minimum policy, but 2 bedroom to one bedroom is a small move, so there's no minimum. This was the main reason I booked the appointment with this company. Alex said he wasn’t sure what time the movers would come and he would send me the information about my move later, but I've never received any written information about this appointment. I had to text Alex the day before my move to ask him when the arrival time of the movers. On the moving day, the movers showed up and wanted me to sign a paper. On the paper, it said 4 hour minimum. So I called Alex, he said he told me they have a 4 hour minimum policy and he had never said it’s a small move and there’s no minimum. He kept saying I made it up and his movers work hard. He also said I wasted his time and he would just tell the movers to leave. I was shocked by his dishonesty and bad attitude. Why would I make this up? I have contacted bigger and more professional companies, and they offered me similar rate with 3 hour minimum. I booked the appointment with Alex because he said there's no minimum hours. It was too late to book another company so I had to stick with this company. It was definitely the worst moving company I've ever used. If you have to book an appointment with them, ask that Alex guy to email or text you the important information. Don't confirm everything on the phone with him like I did!

Moving is hectic. American Transporters made this move seamless. They came exactly when they said they would. They worked hard. And I paid precisely the price I was quoted. I really thought that I may be able to gather a few buddies and move this stuff myself but more I thought about it the more I realized I should hire movers. If you’re undecided about hiring a moving company think twice. Out of four people moving in that day I was the only one who hired a moving company. We came last and we finished first. After the guys finished, everything was exactly like it was before. Furniture was disassembled and then reassembled back. They wrapped anything that was prone to damage or could damage walls. I could not have asked for a smoother transition. I very highly recommend American Transporters Moving Company. A+++++++++

Great moving company! From the first call they were very responsive, clear in directions and timely. It was a last min call to move a large 5 bedroom house and Yuri took the time to walk me through every aspect of the move. Movers arrived early, professional, very ready for the job. They worked extremely efficiently and way ahead of schedule the entire move. They took extra precautions with all furniture. They were also very nice people and kept checking in with me.
