Former employee here with 8 months exp working for Kedney. First, they didnt hire enough workers to get the job done on time so we would have to work late into the night. Second, a few times our paychecks seemed short. Marla and Todd have very poor customer service skills and the warehouse is disgusting. Would never recommend

Our experience was great. The owners were kind, they held our shipment until we arrived at our destination three weeks later in California. Boxes arrived shrink wrapped on a pallet and delivered by YRC Freight. YRC scheduled a delivery with me specified between 2-6pm but at 6 pm on an agreed upon date. I called at 6pm on the delivery day wondering where it was and they said it would be another 45 min-1 hour. I had to leave so they said they would reschedule. I got a call around 9:30 the following morning and they asked if a delivery of 11:00-11:30 that morning would work. They arrived around 11:15. Other than the inconvenience of the later than scheduled delivery, I am very happy with the entire experience.

I hired movers to just load one of our trailers and they absolutely destroyed my furniture because of the way they loaded it and placed it in the trailer, I will never hire them again. We never had damage to the furniture when we moved and loaded it ourselves. Not to mention they initially tried to overcharge me for their time by $60. If there was an option to give no stars I would.

Excellent experience from the the first visit by Todd who provided all the information we needed for our out of state move. Since we were packing our own boxes he also gave us suggestions in how to pack certain items. The crew that was sent to load our items onto the truck were professional, polite and took care with the boxes. Our items arrived on time with no damage and were unloaded and brought into the residence by another crew with the same professionalism Would highly recommend Kedney Moving to anyone needing movers. Todd and his crew go above and beyond!

Kedney Movers handled our shipment when it arrived from out of state. We are a military family, and I was out of town and unable to help with the move-in, I was counting on the movers from Kedney to be able to move in our stuff and assemble it correctly for my family while I was away. Unfortunately they did not. The movers dropped our flat screen TV on the floor, right on the screen, which damaged it. They also didn't assemble my son's bed correctly - they left out hardware that bolts the frame together! My son was sleeping on the wooden dowels, the movers left the hardware, including the bolts for assembling the frame in the closet to make it look like they were done! They were in too much of a rush to do the job correctly, and they were even paid extra to assemble our belongings! Very disappointed.

I have now worked with Kedney Moving Center for years and they really are great people. I would not hesitate to recommend them fro any residential or commercial moving needs in Grand Forks.

An 80-mile 2-bedroom apartment move took our movers 11 hours and cost us over $2,000. Aside from two couches, one bed, a bookshelf, and some tables, the rest was just boxes. When we moved to North Dakota, our trip was over 1,500 miles, and the entire trip including U-Haul rental, hotels, gas, and food was almost the same price. The movers were friendly, but they charge time and a half after 5:00, and they sure took their time getting there and took their time past it. Over 1/4 of our expenses were from overtime pay. Our friends recently made a similar move with another company in town and moved their *whole house* for 1/3 of the time and 1/3 of the price. Kedney credited us back one hour of labor but were very defensive when we called to complain. We do not recommend.

Reserved a Budget Truck through this company and then they decided not to be a part of renting trucks. Wouldn't have been an issue except they did not inform us until we went to pay. They told us it was not their problem and were extremely rude. Wouldn't recommend AT ALL.
