My husband and I were in over our heads packing and preparing to move our family of 5 across town. We were so pleased with the service of Five Star moving Inc. From the friendly, knowledgeable set up on the phone to the very capable and hardworking guys that showed up to load up the truck and unload it the next day. We highly recommend hiring this company for your moving needs! Moving Sucks, but these guys are absolutely awesome! Thank you!

I had the pleasure of speaking with Linda on a few occasions, regarding my daughters up coming move. I can tell a lot about a person, just by speaking to them on the phone and right away, I could tell that Linda is a very conscientious person, this lady is amazing, she's efficient, caring and above all very professional, she went out of her way to help my daughter during this very stressful move, she also gave me a quote that was extremely reasonable. This company certainly lives up to it's name, I highly recommend this company for all your moving needs!

5 star moving earned all 5 stars. We had them load the truck and hold over night. We paid by the hour to load and unload and the guys had a great hustle. I would definitely recommend 5 star to anyone I know.

We had 5 Star Moving load and unload our uhaul truck. We preset a time as Linda owner stated she needed one month advanced notice. Low and behold 1 week before our move she had an employee taking the day off. That really put us in a bind. So instead of our unload time at 10 am it was at 1 pm. During the loading one of their employees forcefully pushed his legs and body against our expensive courier cabinet and pushed the glass out. Keep in mind our piece was bubble wrapped and pack well for the move. The other employee Cole told him not to push on it and the other employee did anyway. I heard a crack. The glass was not broke but the wood that the glass sat in was. We notified the owners of this company and owner Brian came to our home to look at the damage and stated if it could not be repaired it would be replaced. It has been over a week now and still the owners of this company Linda & Brian have not paid for the damage to our furniture. They are not following through with Brian's original statement. My opinion is if you own a business you are solely responsible for any actions of your employees. To anyone else considering using this company I would advise you not to!! Unless you want broken items these jerks will never replace or fix!! Plus the woman Linda is not available when you call for a question about your services or bill. Only likes to send emails or gets ahold of you days later!!!! So much for the B.S. month advanced notice!!! We should of went with Allied Van Lines moving. At least they would not of broke our furniture or put us behind in unpacking!!!

We hired 5 star moving to move a piano for us recently. We setup an appointment time after my work day. They called roughly an hour early and said they were almost there, luckily I was able to arrive at the same time. The 3 man crew showed up, and asked where the piano was. I gave them some information about the move and proceeded to remove my outdoor railing to ease the removal of the piano. After several minutes, and they had already started moving the piano, one of the movers approached me to sign a waiver. The waiver stated that they were not liable for any damages that may occur during the move. I stated I had an issue with this waiver and they said that was in case of any scuffs, etc from moving. I still did not agree this was a good idea, as they were completely free of any liability if any mishandling on their part. I called the management staff and after being frustrated and finally agreeing to the waiver, signed off so we could just finish the move (as I was selling my home within the week). After signing the waiver and continuing to remove the railing, the movers informed me that they could not get my piano out and that they were not going to complete the move. I told them that it had been moved in the same way, but they had no experience and ambition to proceed. They returned the piano to its original position and upon inspection they had severely scratched/scuffed my beautiful piano and the wall/trim in my home. They did not use any furniture blankets, or any attempt to protect my heirloom. Very disappointed with them overall, they can kick rocks. I was able to get A to Z moving to move the piano on short notice as result. They were extremely professional and made the entire process quick and worry free.

We used this company for their packing service. It is now 5ish months later and we are just unboxing and have found someone horrible things. The pro, they, for the most part, packed the areas of the house we had asked them to unsupervised (as we were already living elsewhere except on weekends) and moved those boxes to the garage as asked. The cons: I had expected common sense to be used but that was not the case. Dirty dishes were packed up and became super moldy. Produce was packed, PRODUCE. Glass items were placed in the bottom of boxes unprotected. Thankfully the only broken glass we found so far was a molasses bottle but that of course meant there was molasses everywhere. We have only opened 6 of the 30 boxes they packed for us. Not looking forward to the rest.

My all time favorite moving company. I have moved with 5 Star Moving twice now and both times, the two movers were respectful, quick, and really just wonderful people. Working to schedule my move was so easy. Linda is an absolute gem to work with. She is so easygoing but talking to her gives me the assurance that my move will go smoothly and according to plan. The movers I have personally been in contact are KJ, Cole, Riley, and Jeff. If I were to move again, I would request any one of them. They were just genuinely salt of the earth people who were genuinely invested in making this transition in my life easy for me. 100% the company that I would go with for any move of any level of difficulty.

Several years ago, I hired 5 Star Moving to move me from one apartment to another. Everything went well and I had zero complaints. Fast-forward to three weeks ago. I was moving out of state and needed help moving some heavier items onto the moving truck, so I gave 5 Star Moving a call. I called several weeks in advance and scheduled my move for a specific date and time since I knew I had to work in the evening. On the day of the move, I was ready to roll at 3 P.M., the time I had called ahead and scheduled. When 4 P.M. rolled around and no one had arrived to move my items, I called their business line and was told they were running behind but hopefully it would not be too much longer. Another hour passed and still no one had shown up or called to explain what was going on. About a quarter past 5 P.M., three movers finally arrived and told me the reason they were late was because the move before me started an hour late and went an additional hour late. To me, when a customer calls ahead to schedule an appointment, you should do everything you can to keep that appointment, but at the very least, communicate with them if you are running late. The next issue that I had was with the move itself. After my king-sized captain’s bed frame, my small bedside table, and the king-sized mattress had been moved out, I was approached to sign an additional waver for my last item, a large dresser. It essentially removed them of any liability if damage occurred to my dresser since it would be a ‘difficult move’. I did not want to sign this but I basically had no choice because I was already running late and this was the last item to be moved. A few days later, when I arrived at my new home (out of state) we were unloading the items and I was shocked and disgusted at the condition of my items. All the items had some sort of scratches and dents but my large dresser had the worst damage. The upper edge on one side was almost completely shaved off and there were dents along the long edge that had white paint chips in them (the same color of the framework leading out of my apartment). There were no other items next to the upper edge of the dresser in the moving truck and all of these larger items were covered with moving blankets/pads by the movers. By far my biggest mistake was not thoroughly inspecting my items before the movers left. I called and asked to speak with a manager about the service I had received and after 5-6 days, finally heard back from Brian. He did apologize for the fact that no one had been in contact with me after the movers were over 2 hours late, which I appreciated. What I did not appreciate was the fact that he immediately disregarded what I had to say about the damage that had occurred to my items and said that they would take no liability for any damage since my move was out of state and he could not be sure if the damage had occurred during the journey. He was not even willing to look at the pictures I had taken. These pictures clearly show that the damage could not have occurred during the journey since the dresser was not located by any items in the moving truck, therefore, it wasn’t ‘shifting’ and ‘bumping’ against other items as Brian had suggested. In addition, it was fully covered by a moving blanket/pad that had been placed on the item by the movers so the scratches and shaving of the upper edge do not make sense unless it happened as the item was being moved out of my apartment. I did see the movers have my dresser tipped on that end to get it out of the door frame but I had stepped out of the room to finish some last minute packing so unfortunately, I did not see them take the dresser to the moving truck. Overall, I felt that Brian immediately went on the defensive and had no respect for me or what I was saying. If you had asked me two years ago, I would have 100% recommended 5 Star Moving but unfortunately, from here on out, I will not.
