I would not recommend this company. We had an appointment today at 9am, The dispatcher aggressively harassed my releasing agent. I was on the phone at the time of each interaction and overhead the degrading tone and verbiage. He would not release his name when asked, but there are only two dispatchers and I will assume that his name is, Nick, as we’ve spoken before and I recognize his voice. I called the company to have them deescalate the situation and was met with lack of concern. My agent was also told to leave the property and could not even park on the other side of the receiving area. He was told if he didn't leave they would call the police.This was the same area that he first parked in without having any issues and the dispatcher approved at 8am when he first arrived. We then were told by the receptionist that if we did not have all our items (HHG) removed by 5 pm they would call the police. We have been waiting and dealing with all these unforeseen issues created by this company since 8am. Our appointment was at 9am. We finally were allowed to be back on the property at 923am, after being harassed. Then, we were made to wait until 1058am to be brought to the shipping crates to load. Then we are expected to have 7 crates/ 6000lbs of personal items loading in a trailer by 5pm or we (he) will be escorted off the property. They placed us in a situation that is unrealistic for one (now two men) to do. This company will not even assist with the move even though they are being paid through military allocated funds. Their Inbound personnel lied and stated that on the bill of lading, that my name was not on the paperwork, but I had the exact copy, that did in fact have my name as the receiving and consignee, and I also pulled the system (site page) up that also had my name annotated on all releasing paperwork. I provided them with additional paperwork that was supposedly needed. This company has prolonged the release of my items as they have drug their feet in order to receive payment from the government. They supposedly did not have availability to deliver my items to a local address until weeks later. So, we sent out a person that had a truck to pick up our items and after agreeing on a time, we were met with resistance and extreme lack of professionalism. To add further insult to this situation, they now offered to deliver our items tomorrow 03/29 when they stated so surly they had no availability until a week or so out. I feel that there is a sense of racism, exploiting the government and prejudice to include a severe lack of professionalism within this company! I am utterly disgusted by this company and will not recommend them to anyone in the area! I would however, suggest that you do more research than Google reviews as other sites have reviews on this company with far lower ratings and more dissatisfied customers!

Very professional and way to work with. Laid out protection for the floor and put protection on the door to prevent damage. I offered them food and they jokingly said, “no pizza, please” because that’s what they get offered everyday ha ha. So do them a favor and if you offer some food, get KFC or Asian take out or cook something for them if you want to offer food. No complaints, A+ service!

I had such a pleasant experience with Stewart Moving and Storage. This wad my first military PCS so I wasn’t sure what to expect but the movers and employees made this experience as smooth and stress free as possible. Before the move, the company was very detailed in their moving survey and specified what could and could not be shipped. The movers came 20 minutes before their scheduled time and got right to work and made sure everything was packaged correctly and as securely as possible. It was a quick and painless process. Worst PCS move I’ve ever experienced. Only giving 1 star because I can’t do negative. So many damaged items from this company. They mixed eating utensils with dog items. Half the hardware for items was missing. They packed items in all my entertainment centers which in turn broke both of them. My sons mattress wasn’t even wrapped in anything and was damaged. In my opinion no one should use this company just spend some extra money with another company and your stuff should arrive not damaged, unfortunately for my military brothers and sisters we don’t have a choice, just pray your stuff arrives not damaged if you get this company. It’s a complete disgrace this company is allowed to complete PCS moves.

The movers that came to the house were okay but the experience after has been very unprofessional. A hole was put in my wall going upstairs which didn't bother me until the person that came out to fix it told me he couldn't that day because he didn't have the proper tools and someone would get in touch with me to reschedule....I never heard from anyone. Second, I had to call on several occasions for someone to pick up the boxes and when I finally received a scheduled date for pick-up, no one showed. I contacted them again and they told me that it would be the next day and to sit them outside. Meanwhile, it's raining and wind is blowing hard, which I explained to the dispatcher. So basically they want me to trash the neighborhood. We as military have moved around a lot, but this one has been the worse.

The worst service that I have ever had with ANY company. This company sent out two seperate groups of people to my home. Three women to pack and two men and a woman to load my household goods. The three women were polite but one of them made a comment that made me skeptical of some of my shoes possibly being stolen. While The women were packing, the other group decided to leave. While gone, the women who packed finished up with me and went over the inventory list of what was packed etc. after I signed the documentation, the three women left. I waited about an hour and a half for the two men and woman to return to pick up my household goods. As they were loading my goods onto their truck, I noticed ALOT of items that the three women left and did not pack up i.e. a rug and 3 mats in my bathroom as well as trash cans in two of my restrooms. They ALSO left my three Direct TV cable boxes in the rooms where they were being used. I was kind of upset because I am used to military movers packing up EVERYTHING unless you tell them not to. So I voiced my concern with the three loaders and they brought me a box that I could put the cable boxes in and the other items left behind. Not thinking until now when it matters, they didnt write anything on these boxes like all of my other boxes were labeled, nor was it documented on the inventory sheet but you dont think about things like this until later. They finished up and left. I kept my goods in storage for about a month and a half and when the movers arrived to my new home they were nice and courteous. The only issues that I had were my madter bedroom bed was broken, they broke my firepit for my backyard and my couch has a broken leg. I have three tvs, none of the remotes can be found so I cant program them, etc. Oh yea and they didnt unpack ANYTHING. I had to remind them that I wanted the frame put up in my room since I couldnt put up my bed because it was broken enroute somehow. The other issue is that my rugs from my bathroom and 3 direct tv cable boxes NEVER ARRIVED!!! I was upset because I had Direct tv at my home ready to install but because they were here I had to reschedule and I am being charged for those boxes because i had to get new equipment. ALSO, I never received a hardware box or they didnt tape the hardware to my dining room table, so I cannot eat at my table because they didnt assemble the table because they lost my nuts and bolts to my table. I called their customer service and I was told that my boxes may have gotten mixed up with another customers which sounds crazy because if my boxes are all together why are they even close to someone elses to get mixed up?! I am so frustrated, confused and angry and I hope that no one else runs into this issue. Still waiting for the company to respond to me and let me know if they did or did not find my boxes that they are “looking for.”

The worst service I've ever had. My husband and I moved with the military and we've been without our household goods for a month and counting... Stewart has "misplaced" our things, miscommunicated every conversation that my husband and I had separately with representatives. You have to follow up with them because they will wont return a call in a reasonable time. We were given a drop off date that has changed four times.. Today was our scheduled drop off date, and I called to confirm times with a representative, and again, there's another run-around on where and when our things will arrive. To say the least, I am so disappointed in this company and their customer service.

There’s no option to give you a zero star rating, so a one star is the only option! We are completely dissatisfied with the service we have received from Stewart Moving and Storgae Company. We received our items Misnumbered and stolen. A 65 Flat Inch screen television along with a Mac a desk top computer, completely vanished from shipment. Along with other sensitive items. Although, the military will pay for this missing items, we will make sure this company be removed from the list to service military families. I am completely appalled by the service. We also remember the movers who packed up our home (1 woman and her son and another gentleman). * We should not be subjected to movers and a company to use this opportunity to steal from service members! * First Red Flag! This company did not seal the crate in front of us! All other moving companies make this the standard! * No seal serial number provided on paperwork! This is completely illegal! All past movers, please review your paperwork and check for seal serial numbers for this moving company. If you do not observe, please report. On top of this, we gave the movers a lot of items for free! We also gave you food and drinks ... highly upset. * You will be hearing from me.... Movers be Aware!

Movers did a good job of working to package items and get stored in the container. Could have done a better job of inventory as items went into container and though limited space, was in several different areas packing out of view. After The facility manager informed them it is a non-smoking facility and requested that if they did smoke they at least clean up their cigarette butts there were probably a dozen left on the ground. Also, the facility manager provided them with free soda and water and that trash was left outside on the ground as well.

Absolute worst moving experience in all my years of moving! A complete disgrace of a company with all their claims of awards and excellence. Look at the pictures of my possessions that they destroyed in a $10K move from NC to Ireland! Gross negligence and basic incompetence led to thousands of dollars in hideous damage to our personal goods. They did not inspect the shipping container for holes prior to loading (admitted in an email), and we ended up with a container full of water from a pin hole in the top. Utter destruction from water and mold. One of their movers was brand new and had NO CLUE how to pack a basic box, much less anything else. They arrived very late, which caused us to have to rush to get out by closing time at the storage facility. Then they claimed they had no knowledge of moving a baby grand piano, and had no packing materials or moving equipment. A piano company had to be called to come in, and they didn't have the equipment either. It was a total Goat Rope, and although they later packed up the piano at their warehouse to try and make up for the lack of communication with their own crew, in the meantime they CRACKED THE SOUND BOARD in 2 places on our high value antique piano, gouged the walnut casing, and caused all kinds of other damage to a valuable musical instrument due to their incompetence. The legs were packed separately, simply wrapped in paper. They got soaked in the shipment, and ruined. We had to dispose of piles and piles of linens, electronics, evening gowns, leather jackets, fur coats, rugs, anything fabric; all ruined due to water ingress and mold/mildew. They re-packed some of our goods to combine boxes after we had packed them carefully and labelled them well. We had our clothing packed in heavy duty wardrobe boxes with hanging rails, and they took everything out and jammed them into flimsy boxes that got wet and fell apart. If they had left them in the good boxes the clothing would have survived. We were left with a confusing pile of unlabelled or mis-labelled boxes with a jumble of items thrown in together. TV remotes, power cables, bolts and screws to furniture, everything was completely misplaced. The correspondence with Stewart by phone and email was ridiculous WHEN we could get them on the phone, and then all we got were excuses. Their email system wasn't working, their remote tablet to record the inventory wasn't working, we couldn't get a clear copy of the inventory, couldn't get anybody on the phone, it was a joke. They are so poorly run that I'm astonished they're still operating. Don't let them anywhere near your personal possessions! Hire ANYBODY but Stewart Moving & Storage!

I was told at first that the crew would arrive between 1-4pm, but they called me at 9am. I wasn't at home at the time, but they waited for me. I have a lot of collectible figures and whatnot. At first, I was nervous about them being damaged. However, Alesia and Woodrow assured me. They tightly packed everything, and wrapped my figurines as well. They provided pretty thick boxes and emphasized how fragile the contents of the boxes were by putting a whole bunch of stars on the boxes so handlers would know. The packing went really smooth!
