I have used Movin' On Movers for every move I've made in the past 15 years...four in all within the Raleigh/Cary area, and one to Carolina Beach. All I can say us WOW. Why would you use anyone else? Danny Wilson and his wife, Hilda, are top notch business owners who treat you like family. They take your move personally. Judy handled my last two moves, one if which was December. At the last minute...just before Christmas...she was able to shift dates to accommodate the hardwoods at my new house that were not quite finished. They moved me out of my former home in time for the new owner to move in, stored my goods in the warehouse in sealed trucks until my floors were ready, and then promptly made delivery. The team was personable, polite, cooperative, and strong! You could tell that they enjoy what they do. I cannot more strongly recommend Movin' On Movers for your next move, and the next!

This is the 2nd time we've used Movin' On Movers, and couldn't be happier that we did. Danny came to the house and gave a great estimate, which was spot on. The office staff was very helpful and accommodating to a couple of last minute changes I made. The guys showed up on time and ready to go. Remy, Dean, and Marquis were professional, courteous, and extremely hard working. The packing was done on Wednesday and delivery to the beach was Thursday. Again, on time and ready to go. Do yourself a favor, use Danny and his team, they are 10 STARS!

We could not have had a better moving experience. From the initial contact with Ruthie we have been treated as valued customers. We were given a tour of the first rate storage facility and noticed a high degree of organization, and found all of the employees to be cheerful and helpful. The three professionals who arrived in Wilmington (on time) protected the flooring and walls and completed the loading as efficiently as could be hoped for. Upon unloading and storing our furnishings we were notified that due to the weight being less than estimated, a credit to us was due. We are looking forward in a couple of weeks to having them complete the move from storage to our new home in Raleigh. Thanks to Danny, Ruthie, Luis, James and Avery!

I was moving from Long Island to North Carolina and didn't know who to trust after hearing horror stories from my friend about her being ripped off by her movers. My realtor recommended Movin On Movers as other clients had used them successfully. My move was hassle free and their estimate was spot on. I had to store my furniture for 19 days before I closed on my new house and they kept everything on a locked truck. They moving crew were polite and so careful that nothing was broken in the move. Absolutely everyone was professional, helpful, friendly and very respectful and careful with all our belongings. We had a fairly large household to pack and move, including heirloom china, artwork, large furniture pieces, yard items and even the contents of a 3-stall garage. They were well-organized and extremely careful with everything, from packing, to moving out, to moving into the new home. We were dreading the moving process but it turned out to be smooth and according to plan; nothing damaged or broken, no problems and no surprises. We actually had some fun too because the people were awesome. If we ever move again, we will absolutely use them again, no hesitation whatsoever!

We used Movin’ On Movers to pick up our furniture in Northern Virginia, store it in their facility in Apex, NC and ultimately deliver it to our new home in Apex. Every aspect of the experience was very professional and courteous. The team of men that delivered our furniture (Avery, LaShone and Dave) were hard working and took extreme care in the way they placed all the pieces where they belonged. They were very careful not to mark the walls or floors and the furniture was delivered without so much as a scratch. It was a VERY hot and humid day but they just kept on working through it. We used Movin on Movers for our household move 5/2012. Very disappointed! Packing of the truck went smooth. They had to keep the trucks in there warehouse overnight for move in the following day. We were told to call the office once we received the keys and they would be there in 20 minutes. We called at 10:30 am and informed them we had the keys, they said they would be there shortly. 12:30 pm no trucks yet so I called back and was told we never called in??? Danny asked the receptionist and she said oh yes they did call in. He said they would be out shortly he had to pull the guys off another job. 2pm the first truck showed up and shortly three guys with three more to follow, which we thought would be great. We overhead the guys say they had been on the job since 6am and wanted to just get this over with. They carried boxes and totes in the house very careless, I had to yell at them several times for caring fragile items upside down or on their side. They backed the truck up when it was half unloaded and the remainder of the boxes and totes fell over, they then did it a second time with the second truck. While unpacking we found first one box of drinking glasses broken, i understood they don't insure items if we pack so yes I was disappointed since I did see how they handled my boxes, but let it go. They finished the job had me sign and of course ask for payment, then told me oh ya, we damaged one of your dining room chairs, we will show it to you. It was cracked on the bottom runner and split up the entire side of back leg. They said they will glue it! Real fix to a chair that had nothing wrong with it before. Upon finishing the unpacking we found several other boxes with broken items in it and a box with irreplaceable items smashed. You could plainly see the boxes had been dropped as they were also damaged. They claim it is the way I packed it but thin wine glasses were packed the same way, that box looked fine and the glasses were fine also. Our first move was 700 miles and we moved ourselves with 3 kids helping and only broke one item. You would think moving people would be better.
