Xavier and Benji worked their butts off yesterday. I moved from a 3rd floor apartment (outdoors/no elevator) to a 5th floor apartment (indoors/with elevators) and let me tell you, when my complex told me the service elevator was down that I reserved and we had to use a smaller one to move massive furniture, I felt SO BAD. However; these guys worked with the situation, protected my furniture, were super careful and did not stop moving for one second. I highly recommend using this company you won’t be disappointed :) Thanks guys!

I had the best experience with them. The closing date for my new home was delayed THREE times by my buyer, so I had to make a lot of rescheduling calls to Hornet. They were always so helpful and kind and when I wasn't sure about rescheduling, they let me know what they had coming up just in case. As far as the actual move goes, they were awesome there too! Ray and Danny were amazing! They were friendly and professional and they were flexible with my closing day delays. They were also troopers...I have a queen sized Murphy bed that they got down the tiny stairs of my old townhome! That bed was the whole reason I hired movers lol. They were great!! I highly recommend Hornet Movers and I will be calling them again for my next move.

I chose this company because of their good reviews, honest rates/estimates, and ease of communication and scheduling. Brendan and Xavier moved me into my new place and let me just say I wish I hired movers sooner! They were great. They came prepared and were friendly. Moving has always been stressful for me but they made the whole process stress free. Paying was easy. Also, with insurance, you get an email a couple days before which describes the options in detail. Then you can decide which one you want before the crew gets to work on moving day. Troy, Najee & Cade were courteous and about the business of moving. We tried to have it organized when they arrived. They loaded up our belongings with care. We stopped at a secondary location to load a few more pieces & we were off to our new home. I left to make a run & when I returned the truck was unloaded & both beds assembled. All in just 4 hours. Though we have NO plans of moving I would recommend them to anyone that does.

Caleb, DJ, and Sean were really wonderful helping me move. I've had some bad experiences with moving companies in the past, but these guys were speedy and friendly and courteous. Update : dropping from 5 stars to 4 after I realized they put the bolts on my bed without actually tightening it making it likely that the bed could fall apart while I'm on it or even break. Now I have to go get a socket wrench to sleep safely at night.

The three gentlemen that moved our household goods were extremely polite, professional, and hard working. They called us in advance when they knew they were going to be slightly late (77 traffic, surprise!) and did a great job taking care of our stuff. We moved from a two bedroom townhouse and storage unit into a three bedroom house, and they did what was essentially two moves in approximately 7 hours. They took great care of our stuff. We were very pleased with their service and would gladly use them again. Money well spent.

they moved my daughter to her new apartment. They were set up between 1-4 with a 30 min notify of arrival. they sent the notification that they would be there at 2 pm and they were right on time. Danny and Najee were both courtious and professional. they loaded up her items within 30 minutes and we were on our way to the new location. the new location was on the third floor and it was hotter than hot that day. They both had the truck unloaded in a professional and safe manner. I would use Hornet Moving again for a move. Definately worth it.

Don’t waste your money - worst move ever: - arrived 30 minutes late - wasted over an hour looking for furniture dollies because they didn’t bring any - blew through reserved freight elevator time slot causing even more delays - scratched and damaged everything they could while shoving things into elevator And all that for a premium price. Best thing I can say is that the moving crew was nice.

I usually use Two Men and a Truck and my gut told me to stick with what I know. No, I decided to try a different company. So I checked the internet and came across Hornet. I made the appointment online (that part was easy). On the day if the move, two young guys came out. All of the heavy bulky furniture had been sold so the move should have been easy. I had an antique buffet console in chocolate brown. I had several boxes marked fragile that contained dishes and glasses. My console was not wrapped. It was placed on its side on a dolly and rolled up two flights of steps. It eventually was scratched on the side. A few glasses were broken. Next time I will stick with Two Men and a Truck!

Everything from scheduling the appointment online, and then showing up on time and getting the job done quickly, all made for a great experience! Sandro and Jacob we’re extremely efficient and took care of everything. They kept me informed as to the status of getting things moved into my storage unit, and even took pictures when they were done. They also delivered some furniture to Goodwill and called me to confirm as they were leaving. We had the best experience with Hornet moving last week. The booking process was easy and we had the option to cancel in case something came up with no penalty. The hourly rate is very reasonable and they give you a window of time so you're not under pressure to move too quickly. We moved out of an uptown high rise into our first house last week; Brandon and Mike B were extremely helpful and put us at such ease with our move. They took great care of our stuff and even made a pit stop to my storage unit to remove more boxes from there. They moved quickly but with great care and made our big transition super easy. We just had the best experience with Hornet Moving today. A crew of 3 guys loaded up our 10x20ft storage unit, drove it 30 mins away to our new house, and unloaded their packed 26ft truck in 3 and a half hours!! We had some heavy items, including an adjustable bed, and they did an amazing job. We literally clapped when they got the adjustable bed frame up the stairs that had a tight corner at the base of the stairwell. They all had great work ethic and made it an enjoyable experience. Tristian, Landon, and Brenden did an incredible job and we will definitely recommend them!

This is maybe my 4th time using Hornets Movers. They always show up on time or call to let you know ahead of time if they need to alter the time slot. The guys that I worked with this time (George and Mo) worked hard to get my job done in a timely manger. However, a company that works with both residential and commercial moves, I think you should give all your guys shirts to wear or keep some on the trucks.. that boldly say HORNETS MOVERS and when they go in a building it represents your company better and I don't have to explain who they are. Easy, no frills, and quick moving experience! George and Donte were on time (early actually!), respectful, and moved everything lightning fast. They were a dream. From the company itself, I wish it had been more clear that they don't do the standard wrapping and protection of your belongings up front. I would have preferred to see our belongings wrapped in the apartment to protect from the elements of moving, especially in 90+ degree heat!

Working with Hornet Moving was the best moving experience I’ve ever had. From the beginning, someone walked me through how big of a team to hire for the most efficient move. Then, I booked online which was super easy. I went with a team of three, and they completed my move in record time! Eriq, Sam, and Raekwon were THE BEST! Although they moved quickly, they treated each box and piece of furniture as if it were their own. And, they were careful around every corner to be sure they didn’t leave any marks. My husband and I moved on Monday...we decided to use a different company this time...and are SO happy we did! Our move was only from apartment to apartment in the same building, but our furniture is very bulky and heavy. Though we did not have that much to move, we were also going from a second floor to a second floor...so a lot of stairs. BRANDON and RAEKWON were so amazing. They got everything we needed moved so quickly. When they finished, it was not a question of if they could leave (even though they finished way before their two hour minimum) they just started bringing other things and helping any way they could. There was a large chair that my mother came to take in her sedan, and they took the time to secure it in her car, be super friendly and wonderful, and make sure she was good driving it home. They were so friendly, polite, and extremely helpful. I seriously cannot say enough good things about these guys. They did the work of our three last movers in half the time, and were more awesome doing it. My husband and I are both from Charlotte and we will never use anyone else! Also, we had to move our appointment a few times, and the guys at the main office were always helpful and accommodating.
