Recently I moved to OR from NC with my family. I was a bit worried before the move while deciding which company to use for the relocation but thanks to my friend who told me about Global Moving LLC and also gave me their number. I not only got a very good deal, I also got a picture perfect move within the schedule and without any hassles. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They were quick, efficient and reasonable. That is why I thank the sales rep and the movers I would love to use Global Moving LLC again if I need to.

Where to begin? No onsite estimate and so eventual price is tremendously inflated even though we walked through the house and described every item over the phone. They "forgot" to tell me about a fuel surcharge which was added after I signed contract. Crew was multiple days late to get us packed. Company offered a discount less than 1% of move cost as an apology, but it came with a form which would have eliminated my right to file claims on any damage so I passed. Some broken items. Crew left my house after delivery at 1:30 am. I do not recommend this company and would not use them again if the move was free.

This company is absolutely the worst interstate moving company I have ever dealt with in 20 years and 5 re-locations. Totally unprofessional in my estimation. 1. They showed up 3 days after the agreed upon move date. My wife and I both took off work to accommodate these dates. 2. The agreed upon process, Day 1 - Pack, Day - 2 load and leave. They showed up and tried to do all of it in one day. Started at 1:30 pm and finished close to Midnight. 3. Tried to Bait & Switch on the "Binding, not to exceed" Quote. when the Lead, (Driver) found out he wasn't getting a boost in fee, our possessions were in jeopardy. My wife works hard and loves designer clothes and shoes as fruits of her labor. These packers took "Wardrobe" boxes and totally disregarded the hanging bars and jammed, crammed and stuffed these designer clothes into the boxes instead of hanging them. They even used my wife's wedding dress as a wrap around protector for a lamp. REALLY? They damaged several items of our furniture (Outdoor Patio) by not wrapping or protecting them prior to loading into truck. But the straw that broke the camels back, was my grandmothers occasional table. This was a wedding present to her in 1921. So a almost 100 year old table that was able to survive tornadoes, floods and wars, were not able to survive Global Moving's unprofessional handlers. A huge chunk of wood was knocked out of this valuable antique. Finally, I was promised a $150 credit due to their not showing up on the day they were supposed to. And finally, after 2 attempts to get a response from Global Moving as to the damage and processes, I will pursue other venue's to get restitution for the damage and dis-respectful way my wife and I as well as our belongings were treated.

This was my first time using Global Moving LLC and they did a completely amazing job moving my family from our old place to the new one. After hearing a lot of good things about them from my friends and family, I did not hesitate to hire them when we decided to move. We were promptly provided with a time and a date after reaching out. If you have never had professional movers before, it is an amazing experience. Personally, it was my very first time and they made the entire process so much easier. Global Moving LLC provided me an excellent service. I recently made the move from NC to MD . All of my belongings were quickly stored into their truck and transported to my new address without problem. These hardworking professionals allowed me to reallocate my own time to work and family, rather than concerning myself with ill-advised heavy lifting. Their workers had no problem moving various sizes and shapes of furniture, boxes, and fragile items. I wish I could give 0 stars. We got an estimate online, but with pretty specific details on moving from a 3 bedroom house across country with full packing service. When they showed up 5 hours late, they told us we could only use half of a 26ft truck. Then, the movers tried to tell us they couldn't move us and cancelled 2 days before our expected departure date! They were also very rude and condescending. The coordinator on the phone was powerless to help, she had to speak with other parties to do anything. She was clearly not empowered to solve this on her own. Extremely frustrating! Terrible service! A company that should be out of business soon!

We haven’t even received our household goods yet and I’m already rating this company 1 Star (zero if I could). This company is a scam. Everything started off well enough. We received a reasonable quote and were told our things would be delivered two days after pickup. The movers were supposed to arrive between 9-12 on the move morning. They arrived at 2, started packing things and once they finished alerted us that they were charging us double. During the quote we explained room by room everything we owned. Their explanation was all of our furniture was considered “oversized” according to them. We never received an dimension estimations on what they considered “normal” size. Next, they never showed up two days later. We had to call them to locate our things and they said they wouldn’t be here for another 10 days. We are currently on day 11 and just received a call that they would like to arrive at 845PM and will be finished by midnight. We said absolutely not since we have two small children and that’s absolutely absurd. We have yet to come to a resolution on a time for delivery. I’m leaving this review and I haven’t even seen our things yet but based on other reviews I’m sure some is damaged. If you are going off of their 5 star reviews (which we are guilty of) take a closer look! All stock photos and only one review ever? It’s all fake.

We have tried moving on our own and hiring professional moving companies. None seemed any better than the other. Then a friend suggested that we should hire Global Moving LLC. I called them for a quote and the number blew my mind. I didn’t quite know what to expect but what they delivered was amazing. Everything was professional about the movers. Went 44 days without furniture and possessions. Up charged me because they never saw my house. Went from 9,000 to 17,000 plus!! It’s a scam for sure. Wait on Atlas or any other company.. Movers can not pack. My desk is crushed and my personal item were treated like garbage. Several items crushed or broken! Wadded up items. They just don’t care. Also check put the first form the packers give you.. they put damaged in all your stuff. This covered them but not you.. again bad group!! They were rude and smelled bad. Soap and water. Second day they had same clothes on. Nick is a really rude guy. Expensive items had very little protection where cheap stuff was bubble wrapped. The customer service department is rude and will hang up on you if you ask when you will get your stuff. They will not answer your call but if you have so someone else call they do. Please listen to me! Do not use this company, you will be ripped off.. if they say 7 to 17 days to get your goods. They do not count weekends. And it will be on the17th working day!! Delivery guys said everyone complains when the finally get their goods!!

I hired Global Moving Company last winter and despite the harsh weather- they delivered so well. The crew was excellent in packing all fragile items. Tony was helping him. They seemed quite experienced at wrapping and packing services. Though the price differed than moving in summer, I agreed because of weather and I would certainly say it was a worthy moving. SCAM ARTISTS! NOT HONEST PEOPLE.... when the driver showed up he told me the estimate for cubic feet was too low and that it would take an extra 100 cubic feet. That turned a $1500 move into a $3000 move!!! They nickle and dime you for every little thing they can! STAY AWAY!!!

You be the judge of what Ashley Green says in her response to underquoting by half....without even calling me. If this is the type of company you want to move you, then call Ashley Green today!! This is the response you can expect. I have put my comments in () so you know the facts. Do not be so quick to point fingers. We provided an ESTIMATE based on YOUR submission of 2 rooms needing to be moved. (This is incorrect... it was 2 bedrooms.Check your facts Ashley) You are not moving just 2 rooms. We do not play games. I even advised you of this when you asked how we came up with our estimate without talking to you. (I asked you to call me several times but you enticed me with a lowball number to reel me in...BEWARE MOVERS...stay away from this tactic). Companies that play games would have gone ahead and confirmed a low ball price, knowing it’s not accurate, and then let you deal with that problem on move day. (PERHAPS but companies like yours with these lowballs numbers create this problems!!) I wish you the best of luck with your move. (THANKS...I have a great mover lined up!!)

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY....I REPEAT DO NOT USE. If I could give no stars I would. This has been the worst experience ever. We had to continuously call for updates of when we were on the schedule and trying to get ahold of anyone is a a chore in it self. We were scheduled to have the movers come between 10 and 12 in the morning. They didnt show at 12 so we started to call around 12:30. An hour later finally got ahold of someone and they said they would call the driver and see what the delay was. Apparently the first move ran late so now they were behind and wouldn't be to us until 5. They will call when they are an hour out. Fine...whatever. we continued on with getting things ready. 4:30 rolls around and guess what.....NO CALL. So we called and again and it took forever to get ahold of someone. Once we did it was not going to be until 8. Notice a trend yet? 7:30 rolls around and a truck shows up....so excited to finally get going. Only to find out the rest of the crew is not going to show until 10/10:30. Which at this point the time may change to 1 am, who knows what is going on. I cant reschedule because I do not want to go through this again will be and my husband needs to start his job. I'm beyond over this. We have 2 little kids (and by little I mean 3 and 1) that I'll have to wake up in a couple hours of them falling asleep and load them in the car and drive 10 hours to our new home. Over all its poor customer service, poor communication and all over a awful experience.......WORST COMPANY EVER! UPDATE........They showed at 10:30 at night to move us. Had to wake my sleeping 1 and 3 year old to get on the road. Got a phone call from a friend who is looking over the house AND THEY LEFT THINGS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN. Now I have to find a way to get the rest of my stuff. This company is beyond a joke.

Global Moving LLC are perfect in every way. First time I saw their hard work was few months ago at my neighbor’s home. I was so impressed by their integrity, patience and skills. I took their contact number from my neighbor for my own move. Awesome moving experience with Global Moving LLC . Movers were friendly, professional, fast and hard-working . I was worried about paying by the hour, but needn't have worried with them. They never slowed down, even when the lift on their truck gave them an unexpected problem. Global Moving LLC, DOT 2944979 - Beware review farm entries. This company has an F rating from the BBB. It's likely that our experience is more the norm than not. My personal experience: This was a complete crapshow. I had initially looked them up by name and saw tons of 5 star reviews. Then I looked them up on the BBB and they actually have a consumer fraud warning posted about them. Working in digital marketing, I would confidently allege that they are utilizing a review farm to make fake 5 star reviews. Look at the profile photos. Most are stock photography. They have to flood the reviews to drown out the real ones. GO READ THE BBB REPORT BEFORE BOOKING. THIS COMPANY IS BAD NEWS. VERY BAD NEWS. I booked Global Moving LLC, DOT 2944979, a month ago to move us from Chicago to Austin. We had an agreed-upon inventory which included packing of 60 boxes. The crew showed up 5 hours late with a standard 26-foot Budget rental truck. -Not an “18 wheeler” as stated in the contract. Then we were told we were only allotted HALF the length of the truck. 13 feet of a Uhaul-type rental truck for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. The crew lead was named Nick. He was snotty, talked over me, dismissive, and generally unprofessional and curt. The movers didn’t want to do the packing. They hemmed and hawed, went back out to their truck and smoked for almost an hour & a half, then left. I got a call from their dispatch saying they had canceled the move. Nick had made a claim about me refusing to sign some paperwork. I hadn’t been presented with any. When I asked what would happen to our deposit, they said they “might” be able to get it back. Maybe. I pushed back and they said I’d get it in 5 business days. NOW what do we do about this move? We didn’t pack, because we had a contract for that work. We’re supposed to leave day after tomorrow. I’m supposed to be a thousand miles away from here by Tuesday evening. Summary: You can not count on Global Moving, LLC (DOT 2944979). You will not get what they promise and they will put you in a terrible position. Thankfully we've already found someone to do the move with a proper sized truck, but of we hadn't been so lucky, we'd be in big trouble.

The movers did an excellent job with nothing damaged. The move was from a 3-bedroom apartment with a very long hallway to a new home. The three guys wrapped furniture to protect it and delivered it to our new home without incident. I highly recommend these guys.

Global Moving is rare breed amongst the inexperienced, inefficient and ridiculously overpriced scams we know as moving companies. They don’t really charge a lot but provide very good service. Cost is always an issue with the movers. They will always give you a quote and then change it afterwards. But these guys have a reputation for sticking to their original quote. They showed up right on time. They were very thorough with taking inventories and packing every possible thing that might break. Nothing was overlooked by them. Even the delivery wasn’t delayed like it is with every other moving company. In my opinion, they are definitely worth hiring.

I chosed Global Moving LLC out of many options. It worked really great for me. The onsite estimate was very precise and the move was scheduled within a very short notice. Foreman and his helpers showed up on time at the move day, packed the whole house and loaded with ease and the drop off were done before the schedule which was great. Worst experience ever!!! Not only was my estimated completely incorrect and I was charged double what was quoted, the pick up and delivery was a nightmare!!! Then after finally receiving our delivery we found numerous broken, damaged and ruined items. We went thru the complete claim process for 3 months supplying all pictures and documentation totally over 3000 in damages only to receive a letter of settlement for $68...seriously thet ripped my lung size mattress in 8 places, folded it in half ruining it, broke numerous dishes, broke off wheel on toolbox, my clothing was just thrown in boxes not hung up , ruined neatly all my shoes by packing in the bottom of a box with household items on top. Flooded my utility room, lost my washer hoses, dented walls, broke doors.....Not to mention was suppose to be a 2 day move out, but movers insisted on doing it all in one day which left us with no where to stay overnight, and the didnt finish until nearly 2am, then deliver was to be at 1pm, and we were called to confirm that day on time to be at new home...they showed up st 9pm, and then had no keys to unlock the truck....finally cut locks off and they fidnt finish until 5am...These people are total liars and their contract is very misleading

I used Global Moving LLC for the second time when I moved to a new apartment last week Tuesday. Jacob, Paul, and Andrew were on-time and efficient. The new apartment has a narrow staircase up to the main floor, but these guys were very careful to not leave a mark on the wall or have any damage to the furniture. After receiving a job transfer out of state with only one week to pack the house , this moving company came to the rescue.The staff was helpful and arrived on the scheduled time. I am pretty flabbergasted at so many positive reviews of this company on google. It was based on these numerous positive reviews that I booked this company. I made a huge mistake! They charged me $2600 above the estimate to move me from a 2 bedroom apartment in MD to a 2bedroom apartment in GA. While I had very little breakage, I have missing items, the movers did not put back together all of the stuff they took apart, in one instance, kicking some of the extra parts under the bed. They packed my stuff in a haphazard illogical manner that made my next day unpacking feel like a evil game of hide and seek. They left me and my 68 year old disabled mother to lift a 50 inch flatscreen and a 32 inch old style box TV. I ended up having to hire someone to lift or for me. The mover were unprofessional, using frat boy humor in front of me and my mom. Communication both before and after the move was nonexistent. When you complain, they.point to the contract they have you sign which says you are required to move with them once you make your deposit or you forfeit. I do not recommend them.

They chipped my 2 thousand dollar dinning table and delivered 2 broken chairs, a chipped end table plus 1chair is missing. My furniture was brand new. The bed frame is missing. I couldn’t sleep since I cried the whole night I still can’t believe that this is happening. Also the staff is rude there is a lady Kelsey that hangs the phone on you if say something that she like. Worst customer service. Stay away specially if you need time to have your furniture delivered and they keep it in storage.

My friend recommended Global Moving LLC and I took their number from him and called for a quote.Their rep was very quick to setup an appointment and offered me the best package that suited my requirements. He was very responsive and attentive and very informative. He clearly explained what should I expect and how far they can go. After completing the paper work I was waiting for the big day. Their moving team arrived on time at the move day with all necessary tools and packing materials.. Overall, a great experience. Would recommend to anyone.

I submitted an online request for quote and when I received a prompt call back I was greeted with a lady that was rude. I asked for their hourly rate she then became more rude and said I would get a call back and hung up on me. I called back and the call was picked up and hung up again. This is not the only company in the area providing this service and because of this first impression I will NEVER use them and I will be glad to let people know what happened to myself if they are ever looking for a moving company.

Hiring movers is suppose to elevate stress however after dealing with these shady characters it has caused more stress. There on the Up and up with DOT. But I’m convinced these reviews are friends and family. Just rent a u-haul. Don’t go with this company. The price will double on delivery and they will list items that don’t exist.

I used Global Moving for a long distance move of a 1 bedroom apartment and 10x10 storage unit between IL and PA. Overall the move was relatively quick and definitely less in cost than the bigger corporate brands. I will say I was a little worried when the three movers showed up to move my things out in IL. They showed up an hour late and answered my questions in very brief “yes” or “no” answers. However, the worst was at end. I went to tip the three guys ($60 or $20/each which I thought was fair) and the foreman essentially told me I should rethink the amount. He showed me that he didn’t charge me for 16 rolls of tape (which they over taped everything) and didn’t charge for an additional 75 feet charge even though from the door to the truck was less than 75ft. He said he “saved me” $150 and that $60 was not enough for the savings he gave me. He said if I didn’t have more cash I could send more via Venmo or Zelle because he thought the crew deserved more. I was appalled as I thought $20 per person was more than fair for less than 3 hours of work. Realizing they had all my stuff on the truck already and not wanting it to become “damaged or lost” I gave them an additional $10 per person and they were happy. If it wasn’t for this, Global would get 5 stars. On the move in/drop off side the team was excellent. We had Patrick and unfortunately I forget his partners name (but he had blonde hair and glasses). They were quick, efficient, and offered to move things to different places if we decided it’s not where we wanted them. They were polite and made sure everything was in order. They were great (and because of their work got a bigger tip than the first crew!) As for the administrative side I will say they stuck to the estimate. Unfortunately you have to pay up front/pick up day if you want to use a credit card. Otherwise it’s cash or money order (which I know is standard but still weird). Customer Service was not responsive at all to emails, but if you called on the phone they were responsive and polite. It took just over a week from pick up to drop off which I thought was fair. Overall I would use global moving again. We got all our stuff moved, not broken/damaged/lost, and at a good price. Which is pretty much all you can ask for.

This company started out nice and everything seemed fine with our initial communication and estimate. We set up our three day window to pick up, Wednesday thru Friday. We told them our preference was Friday morning and asked that it happen asap that morning. The corporate office called and told me movers were 30 minutes away at 1pm (already outside our desired window and no apology for doing so), and turned out they were three states away and 7.5 hours away from my house. They arrived at 9:30pm and staged till 1am the following morning. The move happened two days after our promised pickup, and the corporate office wouldn't adjust our fee based on their inner office screw up. They hold to the contract you signed says you have 3-10 days from pickup for your items to arrive. They wouldn't address the fact they were late and were not willing to accommodate a faster delivery, even though I was told if I paid in full it would mean a priority move. The corporate office is awful with communication, will not return voicemails and will not work with you to make matters right, even when they were completely at fault. I would not recommend this company and will tell anyone to stay away. I am waiting for a call back now for the 18th voicemail I have left wondering where my furniture is in their warehouse in North Carolina. We moved to Florida from Wisconsin and they won't commit to when I will see my belongings, as I have been told, I will receive a call 24-48 hours before my items will arrive. They never called me to inform me when the movers would really show up so I have no faith in this company to follow through with letting me know when I will get my things. I can only hope we get our items in one piece and sometime soon. We have been waiting for word for four days.

The movers took extra time making sure all of my stuff was properly packed and wrapped to prevent damage and took care around corners and doorways to not damage the home. They worked fast and were very pleasant to work with. I will definitely be using them again in the future .

The movers arrived early on the moving day and all five movers started packing all our belongings very skilfully. The whole packing and loading process took just 2 hours. We hired Global Moving LLC after reading so many amazing reviews from other people. The movers were one of the good ones. They seemed friendly and reliable when we called them. The real proof came during the move. The movers were all very well trained and they wasted absolutely no time. Their packing skills were amazing and they carried everything with ease. They were literally in and out of our house in no time. We couldn’t believe how fast they finished the job. For the first time, I have experienced a stress free, timely and very smooth move. The delivery was made on the scheduled date. They managed to deliver all our items in perfect condition. Great moving company.

I began interacting with this company after filling out an online form soliciting quotes from moving companies. Ashley Green from Global Moving LLC responded with a quote of $2,760.31. Over the course of 48 to 72 hours, she cut the quote by over $1000, the lowest being $1,712.88. You can draw your own conclusions on the relevance of that. As I researched the company online, I found positive and negative reviews. If you do the same, be aware that there are two moving companies with very similar names: Global Movers and Global Moving LLC. I made that mistake initially so be careful. That being said, there are some disturbing accusations with this company such as low-balling an initial quote only to demand several hundred dollars (in one case over $1000) in additional fees not disclosed in the original agreement, holding the customer's personal property in a locked truck until the additional payment was made. It wasn't just one customer making that claim -- there were a few and all had very similar accounts. I asked Ashley about these reviews to which she replied they had made mistakes in the past but their practices had changed which I took as validation of the negative online reviews. I decided to take pictures of everything I wanted moved and sent them to Ashley so there would be no question surrounding a potential agreement. She updated my quote to include some additional items, at which point I received a text telling me I had one hour to accept the terms of the agreement or the quote would be void. Understandably, I still had some reservations and questions about a company who had admitted some pretty serious past "mistakes" so I replied asking her to address a clause in their contract which states that the customer agrees not to dispute any credit card charges by Global Moving LLC or else incur a $500 fine. At that point I received a message stating "Either you'd like to schedule your move or not." That struck me as more than a little unprofessional. 21 minutes later I got a final message stating "Sorry my dispatch will no longer offer this price. I wish you the best of luck" to which I replied "Given how this conversation has gone today, that is probably for the best. Thank you for your time." There are a lot of positive reviews for this company, and there are some negative ones as well. There's no way to tell which ones are accurate and which ones aren't, although Ashley confirmed some of the negative ones by acknowledging past "mistakes". All that being said, this company triggered some red flags a few different ways for me. First, their sales approach is extremely aggressive. Emails, texts and calls are voluminous. In one afternoon between 4:47 PM and 6:33 PM I had four calls from them. I am assuming that's a sign of commission sales but that is admittedly a supposition on my part. Second, some of the wording in their contract agreement seemed suspect (see above). Third, the unprofessional response from Ashley in response to my inquiry about their contract verbiage struck me as odd. Lastly, having confirmation that some of the negative reviews actually happened (i.e., essentially holding a customer's personal property for ransom) was enough for me to look elsewhere. I cannot speak to how well they do as movers since I (thankfully) never got that far with them. As such, it would not be right for me to recommend or dissuade. My advice to any potential customer of Global Moving LLC would be to do plenty of research online. Read every review you can find, good and bad. If you decide to pursue a quote, don't take their first offer. They cut over 1/3 from the first number I was given. If you get to the point of getting a contract, READ EVERY WORD before you sign. Make sure you are comfortable with the language therein. You need to clearly understand each and every point in that agreement. Pay attention to what you can and cannot do. If you sign with them, I hope they do a great job for you. As for me, I am happy with my decision to take my business elsewhere.
