I can't recommend this company enough. Wow, wow, wow!!! I can't get over the efficiency, great communication, and quickness of this company. I had reached out to five different moving companies and Clean Cut was the first to respond, quick to reply, and thorough with their communication. Currently sitting on my couch in my new apartment about ten minutes after their departure, I couldn't wait to write a review. Moses, Josh, and Mercedes arrived promptly and kept me updated for their ETA leading up to that. I literally couldn't believe how quickly they moved but made sure to be mindful/careful of my belongings. They went above and beyond with wrapping my fragile items and furniture. I couldn't say one bad thing about this trio that helped my move today. They alleviated all possible anxiety I could have had today during my move. Thank you so so much!!

Only as a last resort: Driver blew up my phone with a dozen texts at 7 am apparently lacking any information that I had gone over on the phone with someone in the office, he then told me I didn't know my job or what I was doing.... Basically told me they could not do the job, ect. I asked then why they had agreed to the job if it was not possible............. Upon arriving at our site to pick up, the driver revealed themselves as a manager, and then apologized for saying I didn't know what I was doing. Truck gets loaded.Manager reviews the route and Bills of lading/inventory lists, several times. I repeat several times that there are two copies of each, one give each delivery site. Nothing was left with shipments ensuring a lot of extra work for us. Because of the random insults, slew of text messages, and generally ignoring my request to give the inventory lists with the shipments, I would not recommend. Especially not for multiple deliveries.

Despite it being such a hot day and a walk-up building, they got everything done SO fast and smoothly. They were exceptionally sweet and kind, and made this whole moving experience completely stress-free. I HIGHLY recommend Gustavo! Pricing is very affordable and the communication was great. I've used many different moving companies in the past, and this is by far the best experience I've ever had.

Perfect experience with clean cut movers. Recently I had to move from a dorm room to an apartment near my university "St. Johns" here in NYC. I was terrified that with a ton of boxes and a sofa how would I be able to move but these guys were beyond my expectations. Searched them online and read their reputation on Yelp and decided to book them. I'll rate them 10/10 for pricing, time and professionalism. Thank you!

Clean Cut damaged items in my move and once I brought it to their attention and provided documentation, they have suddenly disappeared and haven't responded to my multiple emails in over 10 days. This is a shady company that is run unprofessionally. Their claims about insurance and responsibility are fraudulent. Stay away from using them. The damages they caused cost more than using another mover

Called Clean Cut extremely LAST minute! They came on short notice since my other arrangements canceled on me. These guys didn't waste any time! They were very fast to book via email. Had them booked after 4 emails back and forth. The entire move took less than two hours and everything was packed and moved with expertise. I was worried of things getting damaged during the move. There wasn't so much as a single scratch on anything at all. They made my move feel seamless. Will use again without a doubt.

I moved with this company twice. The first experience was obviously ok, but the company has since gone down in quality. They promised 3 movers but only 2 showed up until they reached the moving destination. They broke at least two items and the company charged me $30 more for one extra item. They also have no clear pricing policy as they charged me more on the second move for a destination that was much closer with the same amount of items as the previous move. There are plenty of better moving companies out there. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

The company worked with my daughter in having to reschedule the move several times with no problems. The movers showed up on time and were very efficient and courteous. The two young men had it all under control and moved my daughter's belongings in no time at all, safe & sound in maybe 3-4 hours from picking up to dropping off at the new place. And it included an hour drive from Union City, NJ to Clinton Hill in Brooklyn! Hopefully not too soon, but will definitely use them again!

Do not use this moving company. When it comes down to it they do not care about your items and primarily care about the speed at which they complete the move as they jam many into one day. I used them on 3 separate moves (almost 4) and they broke furniture on two of those moves. I gave them the benefit of the doubt during the first move, but it was also a piece of furniture that was irreplaceable. After the other occasion, they had broken a glass door to a family heirloom. I was promised that it would be replaced and mailed to me (they supposedly knew a really good glass person). After 6 months (2 of which they went completely silent - I still haven't heard from them) I still haven't received any indication that they are sticking to their word. Finally, I had discussed with them that I would be moving across country and one of their main movers, Sam, said that they could do that for me too. I was excited because cross country moving tends to be a headache. We had locked everything in and then they pulled out of the arrangement TWO WEEKS before I was supposed to move, leaving me to find a new company that jacked up the price because it was last minute. In short, do not use this company because something will inevitably break and they are not good on their word.

Moving in NYC is stressful -- especially when you're moving into a 5 floor walkup on a street with no parking! Not for Clean Cut Movers. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they exceeded all of my expectations. The two guys were extremely professional and such gentlemen. Used these guys about a week ago for my move from CT to NYC. They gave me a 3 hours arrival window, which kind of sucked but I get why they have to do that. The driver Adam gave me a call 30 mins before to let me know that they were on their away. Everything went very smoothly. They wrapped my furniture and loaded up the truck in no time. No complaints. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are rude and awful and will quote you various prices and then raise them. They initially quoted me a low price, and I thought, “Great- I’ll book now.” Then the manager, Alex, quoted a higher price via email and said that his employee- Natalie, was mistaken. My fiancé called them to try and solve this issue, and Natalie cursed him out (called my fiancé f$&@$! ridiculous”) and hung up on him. This is super unprofessional, and honestly, I’m glad we didn’t hire them.

I have used 4 different moving companies over the last two years and Clean Cut Movers was the best. I'm a little concerned about the movement as it was a relatively long way move. But these guys made a perfect experience. All the members were very responsive, gave a great event and did a great and safe move. The movers were nice but not experienced movers at all. Their work is equivalent to having my teenage son and his friends move my stuff. I sent these pictures to the guy I had been communicating with and he at first brushed it off and said that it was hard to get anyone to come move me at 7pm on a Sunday night so he did not send his best movers. That would have been helpful information for me to determine if I wanted them to move my things. He ended up saying he would make it right but I have not heard from him. They damaged the wall and my dresser. Very disappointed. I found this company through U-haul so I thought it was a reputable company. Don't make the same mistake I did.

We had many smaller items in addition to the large furniture they were intended to take, but the movers were happy to take as many miscellaneous items as would fit in their truck at no extra charge. Great service and great people. The flat rate moving is the best rate and value you can find.

Let me begin this review by saying I own a company with 110 employees and communication is key. I used this company 2 years ago and they were fantastic so I decided to give them another try this morning. Upon arrival to the pickup location, Ziggy, one of the movers, was completely unprofessional. He stared at his phone while I asked him questions, seemed completely uninterested in anything I said and looked overall miserable to be working with us. This was a small move of only 6 items (originally 7 but we removed one item on arrival). Before leaving I did inform them there were some steps for them at the next location, but nothing major. They said OK and didn't communicate any additional fee for this until they tried to add a charge for it later on. I also said there was a couch at the next location that I would tip them extra to bring downstairs for me. Once they finished packing up, all of the furniture was brought to the destination. They brought the furniture upstairs (took 2 elevator trips) and since we didn't bring one of the original items from the destination I asked him to help remove my old couch which was mentioned above. They did, but then also tried to tag on a charge besides the tip which was what we agreed on. From there our interaction went downhill. I asked Ziggy to put together the couch he had taken apart and to switch an armrest and cushion from one side of the couch to the other. I offered to give him an additional tip for this as well. He refused. It was at that point that Ziggy proceeded to get loud with my girlfriend which is when I stepped in and told him not to get loud with her or to speak in that tone. In a time when women are sticking up for themselves and speaking out you would imagine someone like this would watch how they speak to women. After this altercation I called the company and got nowhere, but we did get $35 back since he would put together the couch. Wahoo! I'll use that towards the next company that needs to come build my couch that is still in pieces I asked the mover to leave with some choice words as no man should get loud with a woman ever. I would like to stress that Ziggys partner, I did not catch his name, was perfectly professional and handled the move with grace. He just did not want to step on any toes. After my experience today I recommend staying away from this company.

It was the most horrible experience I've ever had with a business. I have a contract that says they would show up with a 16 foot truck between noon and 3pm, they turned up with a van at 1pm. Management then promised me that at 3pm the truck would come and it never did. After 2:45pm, they would not answer my calls, nobody in their office, none of their management, nothing. I was totally stuck. Their movers were slow, foul mouthed, and bullies. Then, the company had the audacity to demand more money at the end of the day which was followed by screaming insults from them. I was literally threatened into going to the ATM to get more cash out because the movers would not leave my home. I was basically robbed by them. Horrible. Be warned, they were truly something out of this world horrible.

Don't use this company if you care about your stuff. We moved over two weeks ago, and thought we were in good hands. A crew of four showed up, and quickly started packing the truck. I started to notice that they were not paying attention to our careful labeling of things that were fragile or shouldn't be stacked, and should have spoken up more, but it was a hot day, and we were moving from one walk up to another and appreciated their help. The crew worked hard, but they were sloppy. Boxes were being thrown to the ground, and my two most expensive and irreplaceable pieces of furniture were broken (two end tables from my grandmother that had marble tops and were worth multiple thousands of dollars). But, the movers waited until we bought them dinner and generously tipped them (30%) before letting us know that the table tops had been poorly wrapped, forgotten about in the back of the truck, and cracked in multiple places. They immediately offered to have new marble tops cut to replace the ones that were broken. Unfortunately, Alex from the office, rescinded that offer then next day saying that they're only responsible for $100, but that he would speak with the movers about it and get back to me. It's been two weeks now, with no response from him, despite reaching out multiple times. Maybe that will still happen, but I'm not feeling optimistic. I hope others will be more prepared with working with this company as result of my unfortunate experience.

AVOID! We were sent two EXHAUSTED and overworked men who could barely stand, let alone move our stuff down and up 3 flights of stairs. This should have been a 3 person job with fresh-bodies. We ended up doing most of the actual moving ourselves while they did their best to help. On Thursday, we hired Clean Cut Movers for what should have been a very standard move. Two of their employees arrived almost 2 hours after the 5-8 pm arrival window, visibly exhausted, one so much so that he could barely stand. What transpired is that my girlfriend and I, unable to delay our move any longer, and taking pity on these two overworked individuals, ended up moving the majority of our belongings down and up 3 flights of stairs, while the two movers did their best to help. Our move lasted until 3am, we had originally planned on being done by 9 or 10pm. They showed a lot of spirit considering their condition but they were clearly incapacitated from exhaustion. One of the movers was driven to vomit repeatedly due to his fatigue and my girlfriend took care of him while I continued to do his work for him. Please note that we are not holding these individuals responsible for our bad experience. We find the company responsible. The fact that these men were so overworked and sent to us after clearly working for way too long is not only unacceptable, but illegal. They should have been allowed to rest and we should have been sent fresh movers. Especially having paid the company 650 dollars, a ridiculous amount of money considering all they essentially did was provide a truck and a dangerously tired driver.

I had a wonderful experience with Clean Cut! I moved from lower Manhattan to Brooklyn and both apartments were 3rd floor walk ups. I got quotes from several moving companies and Clean Cut was the 2nd best price but they don't charge by the hour which can jack up the cost if you're not careful. Like with any moving company, just be sure you are accurately stating what items you have to move -- of course they will increase the price if you tack on items during or just before the move. Because I didn't tack any items on last minute, the price I was quoted was the price I paid. So, on the business side, I'd give them a good review. Now, the movers were exceptional! If nothing else, I am so pleased I went with Clean Cut because it meant I got these movers. They drove around my neighborhood until they could get a spot to park where there wouldn't be a risk of a ticket, something which I have heard lots of movers don't do. There were two men and a woman and they moved my stuff efficiently and carefully. Nothing was broken upon arrival and despite the torrential downpour they got stuck in as they were moving my stuff into the new apartment, not a single one of my items was wet. It was unbelievable -- they wrapped the furniture so well. I cannot say enough how wonderful the movers were -- I was really impressed. I would absolutely recommend clean cut to anyone moving in the NYC area!
