During our conversation with the driver, Romero, he mentioned that it was his daughter's birthday. I was going to give him some extra $ to get his daughter something until oddly enough, my daughter's $500 bicycle didn't get delivered. Just a coincidence that our girls were around the same age? The inventory tag that was supposed to be on the bicycle was on a box. I would NOT recommend this company. UPDATE: The day after posting this, we received a call from the moving company stating they had found my daughter's bicycle. It was delivered the day after that in good condition. I changed to 3 stars from 1 as our property was delivered.

Do not use this company. I have sent multiple emails to the owner about how dissatisfied I am with their service and he has not bothered to return any of them. It took over a week to get my things. They were packed into a create and shipped who knows were (my move was only about 400 miles). When I got my boxes they were smashed and multiple things were broken. I have moved myself multiple times in my life and have never broken anything. How is it that professional movers who get payed $3200 can't take the time to care about what they are doing. Zero customer service. Do yourself a favor and rent a UHAUL and do it yourself.

Awesome place, they went above and beyond their service. We were moving from Kirtland AFB, back home to San Antonio, Tx. We needed to weigh our trailer to get military reimbursement. We needed to go home the following day. They were about to close for the day, but they allowed us to weigh the trailer. They went back to the office and opened the gates to let us in. Justin Apodaca and Crew #5 delivered my household goods to me after the items had been in storage from a military move for about 6 months. They arrived on time and his crew worked hard to get all of my furniture and household goods positioned within the house to my satisfaction and his guys had the strength to get a ridiculously heavy bedroom set up my spiral staircase with no damage to the walls or my furniture. I only wish that the initial packers in California and the company/driver who moved my household goods would have taken the care with my household goods that Justin and his guys did. But that is another story for another review of a different company. Bottom line Justin and his guys are great and I highly recommend them to take care of your moving needs.

They honor our Second Amendment rights!!! Used this place for Girl Scout pickup during middle of day. Safe neighborhood at this time, clean facility, friendly staff. It has great pick up locations that I was able to easily navigate my truck and 16 foot trailer through.

The experience started off well. The coordinator sent a gentleman to walk through my house ahead of time and do an estimate, which made me feel confident about what I was getting into by booking Buehler Moving of New Mexico. Unfortunately, this confidence was unwarranted. I had some friends unexpectedly chip in some sweat and help me move a good deal of my stuff the day before. When the movers arrived (3 men, as agreed) at 9am, I explained this and they said no problem and we were on our way. It took them 1.5 hours to load the truck, so I was a little surprised when they said that dispatch had already sent another 2 men to help unload. First, it seems like the company should have consulted me before changing the number of movers (I realize the quote isn't binding, but if the company can randomly decide to change the number of movers and hence the rate, what's the point of even doing a quote?) but secondly, there was a lot less work (the original estimate was for a 6-hour move) so why are they sending more people). It was a 5 to 10 minute drive to the next location and I was greeted by the crew (now 5 men) who estimated another 30 minutes to unload the truck. It was probably a little more than this - I'd say were were done by 11:30. The crew was lovely - friendly, hard-working, and professional. My issue was with Justin, who appeared with paperwork and proceeded to try to charge me the 5-man rate for a full 3 hours while making a big deal about how they had saved me money by coming in so far under the estimate. I started to protest, saying I had done a good deal of the work myself and that I hadn't agreed to a 5-man crew, and also hadn't had access to a 5-man crew for more than an hour (really they were only moving for maybe 40 minutes at the most). Finally Justin agreed to pro-rate the move time (so only charge me the 5-man rate for the one hour they were actually working). He then proceeded to add another half an hour (he said he was supposed to charge for drive time and had been giving me a break before - I know this is common, but it was NOT stated up front when I called for an estimate, nor was it included in the estimate), so I ended up paying for 3.5 hours total (1-hour of which was at a rate I would not have agreed to if I had been asked), which is actually a full hour more than they were with me (Google Maps says a 15 minute drive to headquarters, so I'm not quite sure where Justin was getting his "drive time" from... maybe he charged for the 20 minutes I spent protesting/negotiating the bill?). I know it's a tough business and probably didn't help that I had managed (through some unexpected kindness of other friends) to move a good amount of the stuff myself, but the whole interaction with Justin really stank of someone trying to protect profits or commission (or maybe both) and really ruined the experience for me. There are plenty of moving companies in Albuquerque with excellent reviews - if I had to do it again, I'd probably try someone else.
