The price was by far the best I saw when comparing to other local movers, and I'll definitely be using Vector again with any future moves.

Worst experience. We had a very good experience last year, but the moving today is worst. Vector outsourced it to third party vendor and its such a terribele thing dealing with these people. They abused me, had racist tants, threw papers at my face for not giving 150 dollar tip. Last year, the move happened exactly in less than 3 hours, this time for the same stuff, it was more than 5 hours. Such a pathetic experience, not sure if i will use them again, but would never recommend to anyone.

We had a great experience. They moved a 2 bed 2 bath Apt with loads of furniture and other stuff in flat 4 hours (including travel time from Jersey City to Chatham). Super awesome and helpful team from Vector and at the same time very professional and courteous in their approach.

The movers were so nice, efficient and worked hard. They event dealt graciously with our difficult street parking situation in Queens. The communication beforehand was easy - I'd get answers to my emailed questions within a day. The rate was better than most of what we saw and for quality people who were careful and great to work with. I highly recommend.

We hired Vector movers and had a great experience from start to finish. Everest was our point of contact leading up to the move and he was proactive, patient, and super responsive. Tony and his crew were with us the day of the move and they were wonderful. Tony was strategic in all of the decisions we had to make on the day of his move and his crew was professional, hard working, quick, and incredibly helpful. Everything was delivered and unpacked immaculately and Tony even offered additional help in setting furniture up even after he turned off the clock. The price was great. I moved last week for my 11th move as an adult between NY and NJ, and this was by far my worst move yet due to this moving company... Only gave 1 star for the nice guys who moved me...Movers were supposed to arrive between 1:30-3pm, I called once 3pm passed and was told they'd be an hour late, which was ok, but at 3:45pm, I received a text that the movers were on the way, and a GPS link to track their travel to my home, After 15mins, I saw the truck was still in the same place...called again, and then every 15mins after that for an hour, and was being told that they were on the way...In actuality, the movers didn't start heading to my place until 5pm, and reached me at 5:30pm...While they were very nice guys, and worked hard, the only reason that I hit the top of the moving estimate that I got of 4-5hrs, was because I ended up unloading the truck with them, and disassembling the furniture. No one ever called me to try to rectify the situation, I highly recommend that you do not use this moving company, or if you have to, definitely only take the morning slot, they could be double/triple booking the afternoon...

This was the best moving experience I've ever had and it's my 24th move. All three men on the crew were careful with my things and took great care in padding and wrapping my furniture. They were able to move some very heavy and cumbersome pieces. I even asked them to take a section of my sectional over the back fence (wouldn't fit in the front door) and there were able to do it! What a respectful and professional group of movers. I know who will get my business during my next move! Book with Vector and you will have no regrets.

Vitaly and his team were extremely rude, that we had to cancel moving with them 10 minutes into them coming into our apartment. We had living room and bedroom furniture and several large boxes to move from Jersey City to West New York. Our online inventory was accurate. A week before the move, we coordinated via phone and email with Mike, who said the boxes should be no problem. Vitaly refused to move the boxes, stating that they were too heavy. He was raising his voice and disrespecting my mother and I, boasting about his 20 years of moving experience. I called the office several times during this encounter, and no one was answering. We have moved many times in our lives- internationally and locally. I have never encountered such bad service from movers until Vector Movers NJ. Upon canceling, I found another Jersey City based company that graciously and efficiently moved all our things as is with no issues at all, and provided the kindest professional service.

From start to finish, a great experience. Their quote was less than half of what other similar companies quoted us at, and it was super easy to add our inventory list and info online. The day of the move, the team was a few minutes late but were so apologetic. And it made zero difference because they were SO fast! But the team still took a lot of care with all our furniture. Moving to our new place as also a breeze! Quick and seamless. Also, I had loaded some more delicate items into my personal vehicle, and the team even helped me unload them when we got to our new place without me even asking. Will definitely be using them in the future for our moves and recommending to everyone we know moving!

The movers were professional and provided good service but it was not flawless. The glass shade of one of the floor lamps cracked during the moving process as it was not properly wrapped by the moving team. They also forgot to put back a couple of sectional planks in one of the wardrobes.

Original review was removed since I was writing the review in time of moving. I was also blackmailed by the owner- my family number had been called by the owner to take the review down since the owner was "worried" about the 1-star review. The move itself wasn't too bad. we paid $600 for a 3hr move, which started from around 3:20pm to 6:30pm, including traffic time. note, we paid in cash and not in CC/debit because these guys will charge you 5% extra if you pay with cards. I was thinking about giving these business 3~4 star since they did their job rather quickly but it should be noted that it was because most of items in apartment was already packed up, and I also helped them move boxes/take furnitures down, whenever possible. regardless, this move should have not been finished at EOD because these guys arrive later than their scheduled arrival. P.S. If you blackmail us in any way (i.e. calling our phone/text messaging/e-mail and any other forms of harassment/blackmailing not included above), this review will be updated accordingly and I'll be filing a police report against your company for such action. This is not how you do business. reviews are supposed to be transparent. If you really want to take the review down or bump the star up, give me a partial refund for loss of time due to late arrival and we'll call it even. In case if you don't know, I registered move on your website with name "Alex Kim".

Fantastic! The crew arrived early(!), got to work immediately and worked around the folks in our old building who were less than considerate. The whole team was friendly and professional, and they loaded all of our stuff up 2 flights of stairs in what felt like no time- the other tenants in our new building barely knew they were there.
