I have known Cindy Myer, owner of Ridgewood Moving, since 2006. Her company is by far the most organized, customer-friendly and dedicated moving service in all of Bergen County. Not only is her staff and moving team top-notch, so is their technology. From well maintained trucks, to forms and applications to help your moving process remain efficient, you will find the move for your business (or home) to be as light of stressful experience as can be. I would definitely use Ridgewood Moving without hesitation for my company's next move.

Very pleased with Ridgewood Moving. Needed help with a small move ( two rooms) from an assisted living facility. My call was promptly returned, with follow-up on line and by phone. The move was scheduled within a week, for Saturday. The movers came on time, were very professional, and treated the items with great care. When time to unload, the men were efficient, put the furniture in its place ( up a narrow flight of stairs), and removed all packing materials. The estimate was spot on - no surprises! Thank you for superior service!

My move was local but invovled three separate stops.... one being the emptying of a storage unit. The entire experience was great and could not have gone better.. The move took place exactly on time and the movers Chris and Brian were professional, accomadating, pleasant....and very strong, as there were some challenging pieces. They made something, I was quite frankly not looking forward to, a pleasant and seamless experience. In addition, the job was assessed beforehand , and Peter Danese put me completely at ease with the logistics of the job. I would definitely use Ridgewood Moving again and would certainly recommend them to a friend.

My moving crew was terrific. Feel bad but forgot their names. Had four guys. They were very professional and did the move quickly. Both the move out and move in had many stairs and the team was able to navigate the stairs. It was a physically demanding move and the moving foreman was creative in getting all my furniture up the steps. They also stuck to the estimate which was nice since my last moving company did not.

If moving could every be a pleasant experience then I suggest you use Ridgewood Movers. Beginning with the estimate experience, right down to the final paperwork this was a truly stressless event. I have moved over a dozen times in my life and this was by far the most professional, organized move. We moved our elderly in-laws and the staff did a wonderful job carefully packing their "treasures" and more importantly, they were kind and patient with them - which was most important. My first ever moving experience was a total success! When I began searching for a mover, I had intended to get estimates from several companies and choose the best option. However, after meeting Debi from Ridgewood Movers, I knew my search had begun and ended on the same day! I didn't look any further! The group of men that came to complete the move were awesome! Not only were they pleasant and social with me, they were also joking around with each other and it was clear that they worked well as a team. They handled all my items with care, including an 83 year old antique bedroom set with incredible care. In addition to shrink wrapping everything and ensuring mirrors and glass were protected, they also pointed out any tiny little thing they noticed with regard to the condition of individual pieces. I appreciated this effort as a protection for both me as the client and RMS as the service provider. Once the unloading began, the men did a great job getting everything exactly where I wanted it. In a few cases, an item had to be moved to a different room, but no request was too great for these folks! On top of it all, the final charges came in UNDER the original estimate! I have already recommended Ridgewood Moving Services to several co-workers who will be moving soon!

I have used them in the past when I moved with no problems that is why I used them again. I was disappointed this time. They forgot to take done items when I moved out. They had to come back the next day. When I moved in my things had been in their storage for about a week. They did not put my wardrobe boxes in the bedrooms the left them in the living room against the windows with other boxes blocking access to them there was some minor damage to some furniture . Also I am missing a wardrobe box with my summer clothes. I contacted them have not heard back.

They are beyond accommodating, and my elderly residents RAVE about the movers themselves!! I have honestly never come across a moving company so dedicated, compassionate, and efficient. After being selected, Ridgewood Moving met with us to go over the schedule for the day of our moves (they moved two of our locations) and what we should expect. They then walked around each of our offices and made suggestions of how we should pack things. They provided us with a labeling system for our boxes so the movers would know exactly what rooms to place the boxes. Our offices were small and we couldn't pack any more boxes because we had no place to put them and still continue to function, so they came and moved what we did have packed, freeing up the space to finish our packing. We didn't have to worry about packing our PCs. They did that for us! They also took apart our desks and cabinets in our kitchenette area which was a major help for us. The two moves went extremely well. They showed up on time both days of our move. The first thing they did was walk around our offices to determine everything that was to be moved. The movers' "coordinator" then told us the order in which the rooms would be moved. At both locations we still had some last minute packing, but they told us not to worry and that we didn't have to rush even if it was in the first room they were moving - that they would come back to each room at the end and pick up whatever we still had in there. Each and every mover was extremely nice, friendly, and conscientious and no matter who you asked to do something, they all said "No problem." We were amazed at how efficient they were and how quick the moves were. We expected the move for each office to take the entire day and both moves were done early in the afternoon, so we were able to unpack and start working the next day. I can't say enough great things about Ridgewood Moving.
