Stay Away !! Me and my husband used their service August 14, 2018, agreed on same day delivery, they didn't load correctly, There are around 40 box left behind which easily could of fit their truck, if that load properly. After 2 weeks they charged another 185.00 dollar. Because they suppose charge us overnight storage. I called them about this let them know we never requested overnight storage, they made me wait 2 hours to clarify that, than they said other excuses to keep charge. Don't use them, they trick people.

I hired CBM after getting quotes from 3 different moving companies and they had the most reasonable rates. The crew chief was the same for both the pickup and delivery, plus they stored my stuff for a couple of nights to help accommodate closing on two properties on the same day (do not recommend that LOL!). He was friendly and efficient and definitely looking out for my best interests. The other crew members were friendly and professional. The entire process was seamless and I would recommend them for anyone moving in southern New Hampshire!

When we relocated to NH we put our belongings in pods and had them shipped cross country, but we needed movers to unload them for us. And I reached out to College Bound Movers and they were great! Not only were they flexible as the pod delivery schedule changed, but on the day of the unload they worked hard and fast (I've worked with movers in the past that took their time to pad the bill) and were highly professional. I'd recommend them for your move needs!

After our experience with them, I reflected and tried to think of something that went wrong with our move. I CAN'T! I am still in shock of how WELL And SMOOTH our move went! I wish there were more stars because 5 isn't enough! We had a dream team, Eric, Chris, Shawn and Sébastian first of all. They were amazing! Not one negative attitude.. They were in great moods.. Rocked it out and even joked with us and the kids! LOVE THEM! the manager came by our day they were loading and fixed an issue with our paperwork and was so nice. It couldn't have gone better. The guys even said, it's your day to relax. I was like, Wow! I've never had anyone say that to me! And they promised they would treat my things gently and let me say, they did! Men of their words! They listened to me. That's what I love. They put everything where I wanted it and got the unloading day done in 5 hours and we had two trucks!!!!! Unheard of in my world. I've moved about 10 times and hands down, they are the best! I will definitely be using them again! No doubt! Thank you guys! You were awesome, professional and I can't believe what great service we got! You will hear from us again for sure!

They showed up on time, were very courteous and friendly, and helped me do a few impromptu item moves of items in the house in addition to the stuff they brought from my storage unit. They put down heavy paper to protect the floor and were careful about not getting snow tracked into the house from outside. I would hire them again.

UPDATE: Shortly after posting this review, I received a call from the president of the company. He apologized and explained the individual I had called and emailed has been on military leave during those dates and my messages have not been received. He offered to refund the coverage plan and cover the cost of fixing our equipment. This has warranted a change in review from a previous 2-star to a 4-star. I have used CBM on two occasions for work-related in-office moves. The first move was fine, no issues to report. The second move, on June 9 was simple, one item. I informed them ahead of time that the item was VERY heavy and they would need a dolly of sorts to move it, even though it was only going from one exam room to another down the hall. They did NOT follow this recommendation, instead lifting the item by hand and when setting it down, snapped off a critical piece, rendering the equipment inoperable. They gave us the option to add accident coverage at that time and now, after the 3 hour minimum, the cost of the coverage which I'm told was $179 but isn't written down anywhere and the $250 deductible we will have to pay to use this coverage to fix the item, we will now be out over $800. $800 to move ONE piece of equipment. I have contacted the company by phone and email and it has been over two weeks with no response. Very poor customer service, would not recommend.

Very unprofessional movers. Showed up at my home and increased price by $500 on move day. Did not move all my belongings and I had to move 1/3 of my stuff in my own car by making 3 trips. Ridiculous situation when you spend $1600 for a move from Peabody to Wilton. I should have gone with the other estimates instead of going with these clowns. They showed up 1 hour late and smelled of pot. What a lesson learned!

Remember how cold and raw it was this past Tuesday jan. 29? Remember the below freezing temps on the 31st? These mover s worked through that horrendous cold. Since some of our furniture is extremely heavy, I have to admit that I was a little nervous when I opened the door last week to the two young men that were sent by College Bound Movers to move our furniture out of our 3-story duplex and into a Mi-Box storage unit, but their professionalism, strength, good humor, and very creative furniture stacking, which enabled us to utilize every inch of our Mi-Box, quickly put my mind at ease! We were very pleased and impressed with how quickly and smoothly these movers worked together to carefully move our furniture down an inside staircase, through an outside deck, and down another long outside staircase. We will use both College Bound Movers and Mi-Box again for future moves and will recommend them to anyone else that we know who is looking for help with their next move!

I have used CBM the last few times I have moved. Office staff is professional and responsive. Bryce, the sales mgr always responded quickly to any questions I had. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5, is because the "closer", the guy who finalizes the deal, his name was Chris, was quite rude to me, when I couldn't give him a yes or no immediately. There were 3 guys who came to move me. all were vey polite and introduced themselves. They were a few minutes late, based on the timeframe given to me. But they immediately got to work. They were very quick and had everything loaded up in about 35 mins. They drove straight to the new place and got right to work. There was some furniture left by the previous owner and they moved all of that furniture out of the way and put some out in the shed. But the MOST IMPRESSIVE thing was that they managed to get an oversized chair, through a very small doorway, with no damage to the chair or door jam. I would definitely recommend.

This is the second time in one year that I’ve used Collegebound. This years crew was much better than last years. They were friendly, polite and attentive. Last years crew chief was stressed from the word go, constantly worried about getting back before a certain time, forgot the washer /dryer at the house, really upset when they had to go back, etc. This year, significantly better. With that said, my intake person at the end of the phone arranging my move grossly misunderstood or misrepresented, and I was undercharged for my move. I was NOT sent an inventory list, nor was there a home visit to verify how much was to be moved. Only two movers were sent and none of the boxes I asked them to bring were on the truck. They had to call to get another body, as well as to say this is more than was quoted and I was informed that I would have to pay more. I then spoke to the field agent who was LESS than customer focused and even went so far as to say that, “ if they got every detail of what was being moved, they would screen themselves out of business because the price was too high.” And there it was! The person over him DID work with me, and I agreed to pay a bit more because I knew well that I was grossly misquoted to begin with. The guys showed up at 8 AM and didn’t pull out of the new address until 9 PM! Long day. I was not informed ahead of time that they could take certain things like flower planters or cleaning liquids. So I had to go back for those the next day. I will say too that they were not as careful with boxes as other moving companies I’ve used like Gentle Giant. Things that I packed well, came through broken. I haven’t unpacked everything so I don’t know to what extent... but I’ve found a few things broken already. I can only anticipate more. They also left both handtrucks here by mistake, and must know that since they’re clearly missing from their truck, but haven’t come back for them! I know of an expensive large cutting mat that never made it off their truck... maybe it’s an even trade! Not sure if I’d use them again. I’d really have to ponder that.

Sadly, this is the first time I've used movers and it was horrible; I will never recommend or use CBM. This is long winded but please read it. Moved 15, Dec 2018 I was thinking this company must be good from the reviews I saw; but you truly can never believe most of what you read on the internet. Maybe they are only really good at in-state moves. I was moving back to NH from MA so they did my “quote” over the phone. All the rep did was ask me how many boxes I had and laughed when I said I have no idea and gave him the size of my house, number of occupants hoping he (being the professional) would have an idea, he settled on 40… we ended up with a little over 80. If you are going to do quotes over the phone, you should have a worksheet that your people go through with a potential customer when doing a quote instead of just saying "ok, what you got for me?" and "how many boxes do you think you have?" I have no idea, I have no idea, I am relying on your company on this one; unless you have already packed, would anyone really know the answer to this? This lack of either having that mechanism or lack of training their quoting staff to ask the right questions cost me almost double the original "quote". We did a quote with another company and that is exactly what they did. Looking back, that alone should have swayed me to go with a different company. Moving day: Crew shows up an hour late at 9am, no apology or even a mention of it, takes an hour for them to even start moving anything. At some point one of the crew thinks they see signs of bed bugs which means they will not move anything that they don’t have loaded already (For the record, I am 100% behind this policy). What they found, however, was a dead mill beetle (as determined by the Terminix agent I had to find mid-day on a Saturday and have identify it), where this policy fails them is they have no way to a) confirm what bed bugs look like b) per Aaron, the boss, they are not experts and can’t say if they are or are not (odd to have that policy but no way for your crews to say one way or the other) and it is up to the customer to provide them with proof they are not. While this is being dealt with, they started unloading the truck. Almost 2hrs later the truck is empty, we don’t have bed bugs, two of the crew decide they are done working and leave. To CBM's credit, they got two other guys out to help reload the truck and finish loading the rest of the stuff. Now it’s 8pm, they are concerned about it being very late by the time we get to our house in NH so they take the truck back to their shop and bring our stuff to us Sunday morning. You would think that a company of any decency would look at the situation and maybe offer some kind of break to the customer that they failed to show up on time to, failed to move on the same day, forced to pay for Terminix to identify a bug that Google had already confirmed was not bad, but alas, nope, they proceeded to charge us the full amount, even after my wife spoke with Aaron a couple times over the weekend because of all of the issues and he said they wouldn’t. On top of that we had to take personal days on the Monday because we didn't have enough time to get our offices set up in our new house due to the day delay in the move. My advice to you is talk to several moving companies before you settle on one.

I am so pleased with the service they gave us on Saturday November 5th. They were there 15 minutes early they hustled and bustled and got everything done within 8 hours just as expected. The three gentlemen that helped us out we're very personable, friendly and very nice, they made you feel like they were your friends helping you out move and it didn't feel awkward having three men in your house. They were very funny, when you asked them to do something they were right on it there was no hesitation they never lost their motivation they work from the second they got there to the second they left. This was my first experience with College Bound and there were some up and downs. The first comment would be on the workers themselves. They showed up on time (minus one worker. there was supposed to be three and only two showed) and started right in. For being only two guys and loading a whole house into storage pods, they worked right through until 5 p.m. on a Sunday. During the unload, there was supposed to be 4, three showed and the forth showed shortly after. The unload went quickly with 4 guys and only took about 4 hours to unload everything. There were some issues with storage pods and the size and how many there was supposed to be but that is another issue. Overall, this was a good company to deal with and the problems that arose were handled in a timely manner. only minimal breakage on about 6 glasses.

We had a great experience with CBM – we worked with Martinez (leader), Keenan and D’Angelo. They arrived on time, were very clear about what would happen and loaded up the furniture in record time. College Bound was by far the most professional and thorough right from the start. Mike was helpful and prompt with his estimate. On the day of the move, Oakley, Burrus and Joslin were friendly and focused right from the start. They were very respectful of the home, belongings and all of the family members that were around to help me out. I had expected to have more of the move done ahead of time but was not able to get it done. They worked so efficiently that they were able to keep the cost at the original estimate. These are young people so, do not expect highly trained, professional movers. That being said, with some oversight and preparation, our crew was focused, hard-working, and on-it the entire time. I enjoyed having them in our home.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! They were supposed to be at my house between 2 and 4 and we never got a call until 5:30. Good thing it wasn't the last thing that had to go before the closing. No call nothing. Called both numbers and got machines. Waited around all day. Driver smelled of pot, like he just smoked, I would not want my stuff on that truck if he gets pulled over and the truck gets impounded. Of course he denied it to me when I confronted him, and then later told my wife it was ok he had a medical card.... Beware the hidden fees they don't tell you about until you sign the paperwork. Very poor service. Would not recommend.

I was quoted a move from 8:30-4:40 with 3 guys at $1,700. Well when all was said and done it was a 12 1/2 move and 50% more expensive. The 3 guys I had stopped to talk and be on their phones after moving every item. I had to help all day just to try to keep it moving. They also scraped up my walls, put a hole in my ceiling, dragged my mattress all over the ground and scratched many pieces of furniture and pictures. I would not recommend them to anyone.

The men who helped us move were very friendly, professional, and efficient. Such a great deal for the job that was done. I am definitely going to be recommending them if I hear of anyone moving. They were so busy that weekend that the owner and a member from HR helped out. Great team work! Thanks again guys!

CBM showed up on time and finished our move efficiently. Josh, Alex and Rico made sure that all of our items were moved quickly; while making sure that they weren’t damaged in transport. They went above and beyond to move a very heavy grill with exceptional teamwork. I would highly recommend.
