I really did my research when it came to moving all my things from CA to FL. With such a long distance moving, many things can go wrong. Sky van lines guys have great customer service, I knew where my things were at all times and I was communicated with throughout the entire process. The people at the dispatch office are wonderful to work with and they answered all my questions. I'm very impressed with this moving company in las vegas and would definitely hire them again as well as recommend them to everyone. Keep up the good customer service, not many of your competitors have it!

My experience with the team from Sky Van Lines was fantastic! The movers arrived on time to move the contents of our high-rise 1-bedroom condo to a 1st floor walk-up. They were extremely professional and boy can they move quickly! They were beyond helpful and placed everything exactly where I asked. They wrapped every single piece of furniture so well that I don't think anything would scratch even if they dropped it down a flight of stairs! the two movers were also so fast at moving my things that I came in far below my already reasonable quote. I hope I don't move again for a while, but when I do I will be using Sky Van Lines again!

My apologies: The below review (which I originally posted) was intended for Sky Van Line operating out of Mission Hills, CA, not for this company. "I don't normally write negative reviews, but I am seriously concerned that this company is intentionally deceitful and may even engage in criminal activity. We used Sky Van Lines for a cross-country move, and were stunned by their shady business practices. Here were the two biggest problems: (1) We paid the first half of the amount due by postal money order, as requested, when they picked up our stuff. The next day, the movers called to say their backpack had been stolen, including our money order. We were asked to request a refund from the post office, which we did. When they arrived at our destination, they demanded we pay that amount again despite the fact we had not yet received a refund. We found the whole thing very fishy and wondered whether the backpack had really been stolen at all, and whether they were going to charge us again and then deposit the original money order too. When we challenged what they were doing (told them we didn't have double the money to front, and we'd be happy to pay them back after receiving a refund from the post office), they said they'd hold onto our stuff in storage if we didn't pay the amount again. (2) We initially got an estimate on the price and square footage based on a detailed inventory of exactly what we were asking them to move. Then, when the movers arrived, they gave a new "estimate" of the space required which they said was much more (and cost more), despite the fact that we had actually decided not to move a lot of the stuff we'd originally planned to (so if anything, the new "estimate" should have been lower, not higher). When they arrived at our destination, they charged us this second "estimate" amount and there was no way to prove how much square footage we actually used on the truck."

I hired Sky van lines in the last month and couldn't have better issues to raise about them. I have always recommended them to my acquaintances whose have also wonderful experience with these guys. Due to some unexpected situation I had to move twice within the last nine months. Unnecessary to say, I was looking for as stress free and prompt move as possible. The guys started working to pack and load one hour before their normal working schedule. They wrapped up the entire household stuffs and moved. The crews took care of all my belongings and there was no damage! The pickup and deliver persons were very smart and funny as well as brilliant to cope with clients demand.

Great service at a very stressful time- moving. I recently helped move my son into a new hi-rise building-and Sky Van Lines were fantastic! They were extremely reliable and on time. We only had one day to move and hired them on a very short notice.They were very fast, careful packing and moving the furniture. I had to move my stuff immediately to a new location and as I am an international student I didn't know which company to choose, I had a lot of valuable stuff so I needed a Reliable and a genuine moving company. A friend of mine told me about sky van lines moving, He told me about his experience which I found really good so I hired these guys to help me out too. I had to switch apartments and was in a bit hurry so I needed immediate assistance, they came in the next morning and took care of everything, from taking the stuff from my previous apartment and loading stuff in the new apartment. 3 guys from Sky Van Lines absolutely busted their asses for 12 straight hours for us.We had a complex, difficult move. We started by removing some things from a 3rd floor walk up, then headed to a storage unit and pulled a bunch more items out. After that, we went to a second 3rd floor walk up, where they simultaneously unloaded a bunch of the items previously loaded, and loaded up a ton of stuff into the truck. Finally, we headed to our new home, where they had to unload everything. They even managed to get our sectional to the 3rd floor, through a tight staircase, by dis-assembling and re-assembling each piece.They did a great job of protecting our items, and managing a very complicated process. In the end everything got where it needed to go, which seemed downright impossible. They all were extremely polite to boot! Highly recommended!! Thanks guys!

I wasn't sure about using a new moving company for my seventh and counting long distance move , but I was very happy with the service Sky Van Lines provided. The staff was professional, courteous, and helpful during my move. I worried about the fact that I did not purchase insurance, but I was able to put my worries aside because this company took care of my items by wrapping them properly, and handling all items carefully. Nothing was broken, damaged or missing upon delivery. If given the opportunity, I would definitely use this moving company again. This small company provides a similar or higher quality service seen in the more popular nationwide companies.

They are solid mover. No surprises, no secret charges. They came out to survey our household and offered a reasonable quote. We had maximum stuffs packed up before they arrived and they loaded all within short time. Very skilled and prompt mover. We left some big furniture for them to wrap. The guys took apart those like experts. The even detached a part of my cabinet and bed to get out the house door. After the delivery, they reassembled each separate item. I have had the first positive experience with any mover. I recommend Sky van lines service highly.

Started out amazing and that’s about it . In hopes I had found a little peace in a 2000 mile move with 2 young kids in the middle of a divorce I was extremely let down. Ever since my pickup my experience has been horrible . From trying to be charged an extra 900 dollars after my stuff was packed and loaded on the truck to a ride delivery driver showing up 2 days before scheduled and confirmed delivery.. with paying extra for packing and finding out my items (dishes and electronics) dumped into boxes with no wrapping. Now with items damaged and stolen expensive items I’m awaiting the inconvenience of this claims process to only find out they want to offer me 69 dollars for over 1000 dollars worth of items ! At this point o feel way more should be done by management ! This was not the experience I was expecting or deserved with all the positive reviews here. Very disappointed and will never recommend or use again ! Now I’m having to dispute this ridiculous offer of 69 dollars with which I was not instructed on how to go about that process. I AM REPORTING TO THE BBB!! It has now been over a year and still no resolve!!

Though I do love bribing my friends with the help of pizza and burger to get any info or support, lol. Unfortunately that doesn’t work always. I was hunting for a professional mover seriously to move me within short time. The cost was also one of the biggest concerned specially for a long distance move like ours. We hired a great mover, Sky van lines. I was pretty impressed at how fast they were doing. Everything went smooth and professionally. I am very pleased on them.

I would not recommend Sky Van Lines Movers for your long distance movers. Each person that I worked with was individually very nice. However, the execution of the move was very poorly organized and handled. 1) The movers who came to pack up and load the house had not been communicated with regarding what needed to be done. 2) I paid extra for an antique to be packaged extra well done (bubble wrapped, blanket wrapped, all moving pieces tied down) and it had blankets thrown on it and was delivered upside down with everything falling out. 3) The paper detailed what was packed and the numbers was not accurately filled out so when checking at delivery numbers did not match items. 4) Packing of one truck, transfer to a semi, and unloading caused for too much transition (more breakage). This was something I knew about but in hindsight would play a larger role in my decision. 5) Movers were an hour late from their estimated arrival window (7-12 arriving at 1). And while that in and of itself is not a concern, the fact that they were unloading in the heat of the day and did not finish until after 8pm, lead to them trying to rush through the job. 6) To pack and load the house, the company sent 3 workers. To unload and reassemble the house, the company sent 2 works. 7) One of the workers did not speak English. Again, this wouldn't be a concern, but we were unable to communicate where we needed boxes placed and what number was on the boxes. 8) The movers began unloading the boxes and were not reading off numbers for me to ensure that everything was delivered. It was only until I pulled out a carbon copy and began hunting down the numbers that they began telling me the numbers. It felt like they were trying to skip it because they were in a hurry. 9) The carbon copy that I had was incredibly difficult to read but the mover didn't share that he had a copy as well until the unloading was complete. 10) The movers told me that they would not sort the labeled boxes and that anything in a box would all be loaded into one location. I had to call the home office to find out if this was typical since it was not my understanding of how the move should go. I was told to ask the movers to please sort the boxes. Again, everyone was very kind, but for the money that I paid, the organization of the move and the amount of work that needs to still be done and the money that I now have to spend to replace broken items is not acceptable.

First let me start with how I found Sky Van Lines, I put in my information a about 5 or t moving companies came up and I went thru each one an read all the reviews of each before I decided to whom I was gonna pick and Sky Van Lines was who I chose then I called the number provided on the web site and Brian is the relocation consultant so we made an appointment for him to come out and give me a free estimate on how much it would cost to move from Las Vegas to Texas so I got the estimate and what I had to pay for a down payment which was reasonable and I told Brian I would do all of my own packing and all they had to do is just move me so from my apartment to TX. there were 3 guys who moved me with in 2hrs they were efficient, quick, caring of your belongings and how each items were packed into the truck and from there I decided to just let my belongings stay in Las Vegas until I was really sure I wanted to stay in Texas so they kept it in there storage which I paid on monthly basis and I would always talk to Brittany who worked in pick up and deliveries she was AWSOME!!!!! and she help me with questions I had and was very helpful all the time, then when i was ready to have my stuff moved to TX. she then transferred me to Tobias Rivera who handled the moving part and he was AWSOME!!!!! working with me telling what my balance would be to have my stuff delivered, how long it would take and just very professional in all areas of his field. I really appreciate all that SKY Van Lines has done for me and they made me fill important and I am eternally grateful . Would I use them again yes in a heart beat I had no problems from this company at all, everyone was so nice. So I just wanted to write this review to let the other consumers out there know that this is a wonderful moving company and that's why they go 5 star rating from me I would give them a 10 if I could LOL!!! I don’t know where to start! Ok! Lets begin with the workers! It was really a pleasure to deal with the crews of Sky van lines. Their approach was very friendly to make the total situation simple and stress free. They came at least twenty minutes early to be prepared perfectly for the move. The guys were very organized and skilled. They knew what to wrap and where to place everything as securely. They protected my every single delicate item. There was no absolute surprises at the end of moving. They brought some wardrobe boxes and bags for mattress and they charged absolutely nothing for those items. Spending time with professional people could either be really good or just turn into a disaster. It’s purely based on how the guys behave and respond to your queries. When moving, I had plenty of instructions to give because I was concerned about my goods. I didn’t want them to get damaged. The Sky van lines movers understood my perspective and worked with dedication. It’s not easy to remember all their names. But, I did like this guy named John and there was Travis. Others were equally good but as I had to converse a lot with these two people, I remember their names better than others. At the end of the day, I was inclined to tip the generously.

Moved from Las Vegas to Chicago. They brung us someone else’s furniture so we had to wait longer to get ours and when we got it everything literally was broken. All the glasses for the kitchen were destroyed and flat screen TVs completely shattered, etc. Will never ever do business with them again. Bad management and team. Spent $1800 for very bad business. I was better off leaving my things where they were and just starting over except I still have to do so and lost out on almost $2000!!!!!!!

Working with Sky van lines has completely lowered my stress level since I have had a long distance move to NY. They did a job in a very smooth way which made me feel relaxed during the entire moving process. The guys who moved my things were Michael and his two helpers and they were really taking care of every single item and piece of furniture. I used Sky van lines Movers in las vegas to move me across country. This is the first time using a moving company. I couldn't believe how great it was. I was so impressed with the guys that picked up my stuff. They were fast and great. Then there was a different crew delivering. Just as amazing if not a little more. I received my stuff in the time I was told. A couple things broke but that is to be expected with moving across country. Overall I was very happy with the service. If I ever move again I will be calling them back. Sky Van Lines!!!!!

As a person new to moving, I was not super impressed with my experience. I'm sure if I was more familiar with the process things would have been a little smoother, but there were a number of unfortunate misunderstandings. Clear, unambiguous communication was an issue. The initial estimate they gave me was way off from the final estimate (~50%). There were a number of furniture pieces that counted for far more space and expense than they originally claimed. The movers themselves, at pickup, were reasonable and professional and did a good job. There were a small number of items, in particular our TV that were damaged by the time they arrived with us in our new home. In the end, the damage we incurred will cost us less to address than what we would have paid for full insurance, so I think that's a win. It would have been nicer to not have *any* damaged items, of course. Our stuff took the maximum amount of time allowed on the contract to arrive to the new apartment. Getting our stuff moved in was a nightmare. The payment requirements were poorly communicated (over a phone that was breaking up, in a strong accent) so it was not clear until they arrived that they needed a money order or cash *before* they could start moving us in. Nor was it clear that they only accepted certain *kinds* of money orders. This was especially confusing because that wasn't how it had worked when they picked our stuff up: the movers at pick up accepted a check and accepted it after moving our stuff out. Bottom line, the mover's in charge of bringing our stuff into our new apartment were far less professional. Although, once the madness of getting the payment to them had *finally* ended, they did a good job moving our stuff in. I don't think they were malicious, but they need to learn how to communicate their payment process a little more effectively and preferably have a more convenient way to pay!! A simple email with a clear set of bullet points would have saved us a *LOT* of trouble and stress. I recognize that Sky Van Lines contracted out the delivery to another business for delivery, but they need to make sure the people they're contracting out to are also responsible and professional. And if the payment process differs from pick-up and move-in that needs to be spelled out not just in a long detailed contract, but also stated clearly in several places, ideally in an email with clear, succinct bullet points.

I've moved many times. Some have been stressful experiences. I read their reviews and I am so happy I chose Sky Van Lines. They made my moving experience go smoothly. No hidden charges or other unpleasent surprises. The two movers Gerson Orellana and Cesar Franco picked up my belonging and I must say these two guys were fast, hard working, friendly & professional. She and sky van lines were willing to work with me when I came across a few obsticals with my move-in date. The delivery wasn't as smooth as the pick up, but it wasn't bad either. They showed up on time and I all my belongings were delivered safely and no damage. If I ever have to move again I will use them again. I recommend Sky Van Lines to anyone who is looking for good movers.

I had a number of moving experience but those were not fantastic at all. Our every move had some problem except the one we did with the Sky van lines. The guys were professionally keeping contact with us throughout the task. They explained us everything from start to finish about what would be going on. We ordered them for full service work. They packed, loaded and moved our belongings. The supervisor came with three other expert folks on right time. They arrived and got right to work. The most important fact was their bill which was quite similar to the quotation I was given after initial estimate. I really admire their effort and trustworthy dealings. This company has to be the worst ever. I have moved many times before. NEVER had this much damage!!! They crammed pictures it boxes without wrapping them. I was told they were professional. They don't know how to handle tv's. When picking them up your not suppose to touch the screen. Well they did and broke my husbands 70 inch tv.. plus nicks on a lot of furniture. Broke one of my dining room chairs and my four poster bed they were wrapped but the way this company does there pick up is they come to your house pack then take it to the warehouse then puts it in the semi when they are ready to take it. That was one of the problems. They put heavy things on top and crushed the items. Had a glass table top they bent in half!!! Also my $10,000. bed was damaged they broke all the feet off I was told by the guys that when they loaded it the casters were against the wall of the truck so as they went down the road it banged against the side and broke them off in pieces. I checked all the reviews before I picked this company they were all great... there basic insurance pays .60 cents a pound. Filling out the paper work for a claim is a night mare!! I had called my home owner insurance before they picked up our stuff was told it would cover the move for damage so I didn't get the additional insurance. It's really pricey.. when I called my insurance I was told the damages were not covered because it was from negligence and carelessness!!! So now I will have to fight to get anything fixed!! So it you care about your things go to a different van line company!!

I was referred to Sky Van lines by my friend I had to find other companies to choose from. It was a very painful experience to choose other companies as they had inflexible moving dates, expensive rates, poor communication and inability to handle auto shipping by the same company or at least the same date. I ended up agreeing with choosing only Sky Van Lines without adding any competitors just for that. I was initially anxious that I will be screwed, but once moving has started, I really was happy I did that and will never regret it. I believe I did the right decision. They first have excellent communication with calling twice before the actual moving date. They also responded pretty well to my calls and emails which were sometimes after working hours. I liked how they anticipate things by giving detailed instructions for preparation. Without it, I may have had bad moving planning. The salesman remained in contact by phone and email with me all through the moving process and even after it to make sure we were on track. On the day just before moving, I asked them to make an extra stop as I bought a set of reclining sectional at a nearby store without previous planning. Luckily, they resounded positively and quickly arranged for that. I had to add an extra $50 for that which was nothing compared to a lot more if I were to do the shipping my place to my place for pick up. The guys who did the pickup and delivery were so polite and obviously trained very well. They did all the packing gently and quickly. I moved a Studio plus the new sectional and table, and my car. My pickup took less than three hours for pick up and I got my delivery in 2 weeks in NY I strongly recommend this company with all what the word strongly means.

I thought moving was going to be a nightmare, but it really wasn't that bad. Of course it's no fun to pack and it's a stressful experience in general, but the actual move part of the moving wasn't bad. I talked to a really nice young man on the phone about moving my four bedroom house from Las Vegas, NV to San Antonio, TX and he set up a time for a visual estimate with Rami. I had had some moving companies give me a price on the phone, but after Rami came I realized that there was no way those prices could be good since I had so much stuff that I didn't even realize I had. Rami went through the whole house, the garage, and the patio and put everything I owned into his ipad. Somehow he came up with how many boxes I would end up using, I guess that's where being in the business a long time comes in handy, and gave me a price. He said that no matter what that price would not go up the day of the move, and that made me a lot of comfort to know.

The guy come in the morning start to pack the house up and load the tuck by 2 pm they were done. After a week a got a call for Brittney to let me know my things are on the way to TX. Adonay also assisted a friend with planning her move. I was very pleased that my belongings arrived in 8 days realizing that it was a small load and would be included with others. Richard McFarland called me the day before to arrange a time and he was puctual. His semi was very long so was unable to park near house to unload. He parked on a side street and unloaded 3-4 boxes at a time. A wardrobe box had been crushed along with 2 smaller boxes. A leg on the recliner was broken and it was unclear as to when it happened. I was greatly impressed that he was willing to repair it for me. It had been broken previously and glued to repair and was supportive.Both loading and unloading were given generous gratuities.

I moved from CA to NV them instructions as to how to drive to my new place it would be easier for them to unload at different points. My new home was in the mountains with a very steep driveway. The furniture is wrapped individually so the furniture or your home is not damaged. Vince and Michael worked very well together as a team and it is very evident they are trained in moving large pieces. This was exactly what we looked for. We just wanted to move in Las vegas with a perfect professional mover. We were lucky to having Sky van lines service based on my friend’s recommendation. The movers brought plenty of boxes and tools to accommodate our items securely. We asked them to put the covered goods and furniture at open field in front of our home. According to our suggestion they first piled up all items then they loaded in to their large van. I used their storage. They were supposed to deliver after twenty days. But my new rented home was not ready yet. I did a mistake to calculate the time properly! Anyway, I received my possessions without any hassle and delay. My all belongings were in very good shape.

Used Sky van lines long distance movers in las vegas to move cross country. They were clear about services and costs. They told me the move would take 7-21 business days and they delivered within the promised time frame (about 10-13 business days). Some of the boxes were really beat up, but nothing was broken. It took this moving company over a month to ship our stuffs and our television was also damaged. I would never recommend this company to anyone that's doing a coast to coast delivery.
