My grandparents, who are 81 and 84, hired these movers in September to move them 17.6 miles from Carson City to Gardnerville. They paid them $2200. for the move, included packing. When the move was finished they could not find the perishable products that had been in their fridge. Several members of the family tried to locate the items in the mountains of boxes in the garage, with no success. After a month we could smell something in the garage, at that time I called the moving company to tell them that I felt they left perishable product in their garage. I requested them to send someone out to move the boxes to find the things from the fridge. I never received a call back. January 6, I had to move the boxes in the garage and found two boxes marked food under and behind other boxes that were not perishable. I was upset that this had happened to seniors that hired a company because they didn’t have help and could not do it themselves. I contacted the company asking to speak with the owner at 10 am on January 8, he called me back on the 9th at 4:21 pm. The owner Barry was placing the blame on my grandparents, said they where difficult and that was his excuse on why his company was negligent. I felt as a owner he should have compensated them for their poor customer service and negligence. He came off very rude and offered to buy them some new eggs. This company had total disregard for their customers and senior citizens. They do not stand for a upstanding honest company. Had he apologized and made it right, is how it should have been handled.
