The driver parked the truck at our address and due to its length it blocked our neighbors ability to get his noble home out. We asked the driver to back it up a few feet and why. The driver said there was no need. Our neighbor came home and said he could not get out. We contacted ABF and they told us they would send the driver back. We waited and waited for hours. We called back and was told no one was coming and didn’t know if they could come for the next couple of days. We told them again about our problem and it made no difference they refused to do anything.

I had a delivery on 16 feet long composite decking, so the shipping company zip tide like 5 pallets together and the driver Clay, not only was fast and efficient he went above and beyond to help me move and carry the 16 feet long pieces, Thank you so much Clay I really appreciate it

Jason & Andrew ROCK!!!! They came in with a delivery that did not fit through the narrow doorways of this old building. But their ingenuity to remove the doors from their hinges to give them just enough room to shimmy through did the trick! These gentlemen went above and beyond the call of duty and we are so very appreciative. Thank God for these guys!!

Moved my cousin from Chicago to Las Vegas. Professional, courteous, very thoughtful. Delivered the small trailer to her driveway exactly as promised. Even coordinated with her when the movers were arriving to unpack the trailer and offload into the house. Driver picked the trailer up first thing the next day. No unexpected delays or charges. Thank you Megan at the Las Vegas terminal for your professionalism. ABF unpack service is outstanding.

If any Military is looking to use ABF Freight for your move I advise you not to. The problems that occurred with them not being able to deliver the truck to the house are not worth the small amount of money they refunded us. We are new to our state and we didn’t know anyone are thought to using this is it would be easy for him to unload alone . We have two entrances into our neighborhood here In West Virginia. We advised them not to use one of those due to how steep the road is. Friday at 3:00 They called and informed me that my driveway was to steep and dangerous to park the truck on. However we found out later that day from the driver who came to look at my driveway that he had never made it to the house only to the entrance we advised him not to come to and made his decision based on that. They never looked at the 2nd entrance to the neighborhood nor the driveway in person. They then proceeded to tell me the truck was at the loading dock 30 mins away and we would have to unload the truck there. We then had to arrange for the truck to be parked outside of their facility due to the fact that they are closed weekends and with my husbands new job he wouldn’t be able to get there during the business hours and we didn’t want them to charge us storage fees for the amount of days it waited there for us to be able to unload it . Our next challenge was to find a Uhaul truck available for Saturday. With no luck finding anything within a 60 mile radius that wouldn’t cost us an arm and a leg in mileage and gas we resorted to use a 6 x12 trailer. When my husband arrived Saturday morning he started unpacking the truck only to find out that the hill they parked it on caused the truck to lean to one side This made unpacking a truck full of heavy items very difficulty. things kept falling on him and to the floor of the truck. The stability of the extremely tall ramp from being on that incline also played a big part into the trouble of getting items from the truck to the uhaul trailer. He managed to unload a great deal of stuff despite these problems. On Sunday my husband arrived to unload the rest of our belongings only to find that over night trucks had been parked in front of ours and to the side of ours leaving no room to pull the uhaul close to the truck . So my husband had to park it down the hill a little only to make the process of him unloading and loading more difficult. The $400 that they refunded and the attitude from some of the employees ( $300 being the delivery charge for door to door service, and $100 for our troubles) compared to what we paid them isn’t enough for the stress it has caused on my husband and our family during this move and I would hate to see another family go through these same problems.

This experience was horrible. They were suppose to deliver my massage table knowing the size and weight of it. sent one guy out there Name Daniel . He knocked on the door and insisted he couldn’t bring the table up stairs that was 700lbs which turned out to be 150lbs. (Remind you I’m in a session with a client) they knew about it being up stairs when they asked my husband earlier. So there should have been 2 people to deliver the bed. He tried to up sale me and tell me they will take it back and deliver it on another day for $150 more dollars like wth. So I said no I need my table ASAP. So he ended up leaving it in the walk way for an hour til my husband came, and guess what? My husband moved it to the elevator where it was told to take prior and Daniel said it didn’t fit. And it fit right in with no problem. My client who was on the table was disappointed and gave session for free. All because someone was to lazy to do there job. They suck and reviews help so do not mess with them if you don’t have to.

Moved from Eugene, OR to Henderson, NV and everything was handled well on ABF's end. I was especially thankful for the help of the crew in Eugene, without them we wouldn't have been able to move out at all. The ability to pack/un-pack at the freight yard is much cheaper than if you have the cube delivered to your house. The cost of the U-Haul to transfer your stuff to the freight yard is negligible compared to the cost of shipping door to door. I would recommend this service to anyone, just make sure you are ok packing things into the moving cube yourself! We fit our whole 1 bedroom apartment in the 7x7x8 relo-cube; it was a snug fit but everything made it in one piece and two-days early : ) Overall, the crews we encountered were very helpful and the service we received was efficient. One thing to note, you only pay for the cube and the shipping cost with your purchase, there are no blankets or locks provided. U-Pak is not a moving service, it's a freight service that moves your belongings. You are responsible for packing your things well to ensure safe travel or having a moving service do it for you!

I purchased a pole vault pole from a company in Illinois. These fiberglass poles are sturdy fiberglass layups, and are protected by being shipped in heavy cardboard containers. When I received the pole, the cardboard container was in two pieces, each of which was also crushed and showed tire tracks on them. The pole beneath was also crushed and worthless. I can hardly imagine the careless treatment this item must have endured to have ended up this badly. My local freight company which delivered it the final hundred miles said that literally half of the things they receive from this company are damaged to the point of being ruined. Terrible company. Don't let them ship anything!

I really gotta give it to Amazon and ABF. We ordered a Peg Perego John deer gator for Dylan and dean for Christmas, it wasn’t scheduled to arrive until Dec, 27th (my fault for ordering last minute) anyhow I tracked it here to Albuquerque and it’s sitting at ABF waiting for delivery on the 27th. I called amazon to see if I could pick it up before Christmas and was told absolutely not. That they usually never allow pickup between shipments. I was ok with that because it was my fault for ordering it late so I said thank you. Before I hung up the guy from amazon said he would look into my options for early pick up and put me on hold for a half hour. Finally he came back on the line and he said he filled out a special form and was on conference call with a representative from ABF. Both companies went out of their way to allow me to pick up my boys Christmas present early. I can’t believe the amount of customer service they both provided. It was astonishing.

I cannot RAVE enough about this company and the compassion their workers have! I got contacted 10/31 for a delivery for 11/5. The deliver is my sons swing set for his 2nd birthday as a present that his Grandparents bought him. His birthday is 11/3 so we were all hoping and wishing it could come by then. Teresa is who contacted me and told me the delivery date (11/5), I asked if there was any way it could possibly be here by 11/2 or 11/3 so that way his Grandparents would be able to help set it up and watch him play with it before they head back to their home 2 states away. Teresa said she would check and see what she could do. She called me this morning and said “Could we have them deliver it TODAY?” (11-1). She went above and beyond OUT OF HER WAY just to be sure my 2 year old would get his birthday present on time and to make sure that his Grandparents get to see him play on it! This means so much to me and my family, I am so overwhelmed with joy! Thank you so much ABF, Teresa, and the staff who will be delivering.

They really suck. Unprofessional. Called me about my delivery to be at home. I took of early from work on Thursday only to sit at home and wait for them. They never showed up. They called again saying sorry they missed Thursday. The same situation repeated on Friday. It's Monday now and nobody even care to call... what kind of business are they running? I will inform seller about this so they can change delivery company....
