Furnishing our house in Big Sky while living mostly in California has required a great deal of coordination and effort between a large number of vendors and shippers in Bozeman and a not insignificant number of trips through the canyon and up our 3 mile dirt driveway in the middle of winter. If not for the amazing efforts, service and careful diligence by Moffatt and the crew of Mountain West Movers, I'm certain my furnishings would still be all over Bozeman. I called; customer service was amazing - got me on the schedule for next day delivery, I believe I was filling a cancellation because they wouldn't have been able to deliver for a couple of weeks if I was unable to take delivery that next day. Well I can't change my google account to reflect who this really is - but my name is Leigh Ripley - I'm somehow stuck in my child's school account. But what I can do is tell you how amazing Mountain West Movers were! I moved last April during a terrible blizzard and 30 below temperatures. It was a spur-of-the-moment move and I had a lot of large and delicate items...including indoor plants, which were sure to die in the conditions we were facing! Not only did Mountain West Movers show up in ungodly weather with short notice, but they did an excellent job as well. I have used other moving companies before and by far, this was my best experience. The movers were timely, clean, quick and absolutely nothing was damaged...even my indoor plants survived. I have recommended them verbally over the past few months and felt it was time to put it in writing on their site. I highly recommend this company. They are local. They are family-owned. They are professional. They are excellent. And when you combine those factors you find you have a company dedicated to serving THEIR community in the best possible way. Hire Mountain West Movers - you will be utterly satisfied. And most likely writing a review similar to this yourself!

I’ve used mountain west movers now I think three separate times. Once was to bring in a game table that each of the four pieces weighed over 500 pounds. Upstairs! Not one nick on the wall. Incredibly careful! Then they helped me figure out the motor and get the thing up and running. Another time was to unload a u-haul, again so considerate , shoes came off every time they walked in the front door. On that one I had them place the furniture. Then changed my mind, moved it again, then moved it back. They were so good natured, easygoing about all of it. Not one grumble, or come on make up your mind. They thoughtfully weighed in on why they thought certain pieces worked better in certain rooms. Just easy to work with. And just recently they came to install some custom pieces of furniture made by Four Corners and agin so considerate, showed up when they said they would, came with the equipment necessary to hang items. Truly a great company to work with. Easy to schedule. They’ve been trained to work smart, carefully and with a great attitude!

Love. Love. Loved these guys. I needed 2 storage units cleaned out after a stressful & miserable forced move, I needed help since I had limited time & couldn’t get off work. I called other companies & was quoted upwards of 800$-1000. One of them even expected me to rent my own u haul truck on top of that. Mountain West sent 2 guys with a truck (Corey & John) the morning after I called them, got everything in one trip, a couple of hours & boom - done. They sent an invoice by email I was able to pay on my phone immediately with no problem & charged less then half what everyone else wanted, a much more appropriate amount for a few hours of work then 800-1000 $. As long as I live in the area they service if I ever have to move again I will never call anyone else!
