We have used Garden City twice-once to unload the truck from our ml ove to Missoula and once 2 months later to move us across town Both times they were on time and worked efficiently to get the jobs done. They were careful with our things. They readily took direction on where to put everything. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a company to move at a good price.

Prior to my move, a price of $2970 was presented with a final price of $3300. agreed upon. During the move, an armoire was damaged. The invoice I received was for $3900., which was $600 over the agreement. There were no changes on my end to incur more charges. I spoke with Joe (owner) who stated that he was honest but he needed the additional money; he had taxes due, etc. At the conclusion of our phone conversation, he agreed to charge my credit card for $2300. and after the furniture damage invoice was presented, we would settle the remaining outstanding $1000. of the agreed upon $3300. I gave him my credit card info. Instead, Joe charged my credit card for $2300. PLUS an additional $3650. My credit card company will fight him. It makes me sad to realize how disreputable and untrustworthy he is.

Kyle & Adam helped move my parents. Although it took a bit longer than anticipated, they stuck with it, worked hard, and got it done in a day. Hard working couple of guys, reasonably priced, careful about moving, and very personable. They also suggested a very helpful person to pack for the move.

Pick these guys! Great communication, actually showed up 10 min. early! I had to move out of my house pretty quickly and saw that Garden City Movers was on my Google search. I am pretty leery about movers and was pretty nervous about having help. I called and talked to a guy named Cameron who was really nice and to the point. He called me the day before I needed him here and ran through everything again. The next day he showed up with a guy named Joe. Not your stereotypical movers. These guys are clean cut (and cute). They moved all of my stuff into a 24 ft. Uhaul trailer and made sure all of my furniture was wrapped and wouldn't be damaged. The whole process was extremely impressive! They were so fast and efficient and when all was said and done, there were no dings on any walls, and on the latter of the trip, my furniture all looked as good as before they came. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Nothing short of AMAZING!

Joe and Garden City Movers were awesome! Even though our move had to be postponed and rescheduled due to the Blizzard of 2014, GCM stayed in constant contact and helped make our move to our first house a success. Skylar and Kyle were on time, polite, and very careful with our belongings. We have a piano that is several generations old, and they took great care in relocating it. Please consider these great people in your next move.

We will always use Garden City Movers for any of our moving needs! Joe at the office was friendly and patient, answered all of my pesky questions. The day of our move, into a 2nd floor apartment, Justin and Brandon showed up a few minutes early, took great care when loading our belongings into the truck all in under 45 minutes! They showed up with a great attitude, and kept it up throughout the entire process, even with the warmer temperatures. They were efficient, friendly, affordable and they took great care of us. The owner is very easy to communicate with and he is prompt to respond to questions and problems. My spouse and I hired Garden City for a one way move. The movers who showed up were definitely new to the game and the move took longer than expected. In their defense, they were painstakingly wrapping and tieing items down so nothing would break in transport. When I contacted the owner, he was incredibly apologetic about the delay and even refunded the portion of the cost for the amount of time the movers went over what was quoted. I appreciate that the owner made the situation right and it's hard to fault movers who are taking time to ensure the safety of your items.

Kyle & Sam did an amazing job moving my family after my Uncle passed away. They were professional, thoughtful given our circumstances, & went out of their way to move my Uncles belonging. I would highly recommend Garden City Movers for all your moving needs. Kyle & Sam were invaluable to our family during a difficult time for us. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! Not to mention they moved us during a huge snow storm & were very attentive to our needs.

The movers were friendly and very respectful of any fragile belongings, as well as capable of dealing with very heavy pieces and tight spaces getting things out of the house. We have never used a moving service before and were struggling with getting a heavy oak armoire down some narrow stairs. We did a Google search and found Joe and his crew and after reading reviews, gave them a call. Within about 2 hours 3 very nice young guys showed up and were able to give us that extra strength we needed for a really good price. What a life saver these guys were! So polite, friendly and very gental with furniture and walls! I will be recommending these guys to everyone!!

Wow. These guys are the best, bar none. I've had them move me twice and let me say this; professional, courteous, clean, amenable, absolutely great. Our last move I was in the hospital with our Wife who had just given birth to our third child, I literally was on the phone with Joe walking him through the house on what needed to be moved and into what room at our new house. Any other mover I would have cancelled, but these guys go above and beyond. Use them, you'd be crazy not too!!!

Everything a person could ask for with movers! They were extremely conscientious, giving as much care and respect for my things as I would have. I was concerned about my favorite treasures and delicate items being transported but all my worries were relieved as they were packed and moved expertly. Then when it was time to unload it into the new place, they worked incredibly late to get it all done for us. I have used Garden City Movers for two of my moves now. Four years ago Joe moved me in to my apartment during a hard time, and he was like a guardian angel with his positive attitude! He went out of his way to make the move smooth and as pleasant as possible. Thanks Joe! Sam and Justin (?) moved me in last weekend, and they were extremely helpful and hard working! I was moving out of a difficult attic apartment, and they worked hard all morning long without any brakes, all along with smiles on their faces. They got along really well and worked great as a team. Amazing company! Joe is awesome and really came through for us! We moved from Cali to MT and his crew showed up, worked hard and unloaded our 26’ foot truck in less than 2 hours! They also picked up our new gun safe in Missoula and delivered it to our house and set it up in our garage and we live 80 miles away!! We are so grateful for Garden City Movers! Thanks Joe!!

Joe and Jesse (I think) moved my mom from Seeley Lake and a town house in missoula to her new home in Missoula and they were cheerful, courteous, efficient and very careful of the furniture and the houses (no marks on walls- no broken items) The price was very good for the excellent service we received. Very late and not prepared. The movers didn't show up at the scheduled time. We had to call three different times, over a 30 minute time frame, before getting someone to pick up the phone. When someone (Joe) finally answered, he said he couldn't get a hold of his crew, but would send out another one. We did get a call saying they were running late and would be there in about 15 minutes. Almost a hour and a half later, two movers did arrive. They didn't have any moving equipment (carts, hand trucks, tools, etc). The two guys were nice but certainly not prepared.
