Glenda Hartwick

Hubby drives for Prime & this place is great...The people that work here are so nice, the food is amazing with so many choices and the dog area is great especially for a dog that needs to get out of the truck for more than just a quick potty break ...

Jake Hurley

Good, inexpensive food for drivers with options similar to huddle house plus steaks and an entree cafeteria option each day too. Well stocked store, gym, spa, salon, showers, game rooms, movie rooms, lounges. I just wish they had a coffee shop!

As always, PRIME Inc facilities are state of the art and adequate.

One of the best companies I've ever worked for!! Only downside is rarely going home but it's part of the industry. I had my share of rough times like the next but overall i made good money and stopping in sprimo was always like vacation until FM called

You had it comin' Prime. An 8' x 10' space is too small for 2 people, and we both know you just want teams and trainers. Never gonna put up with 6 weeks without pay from a company again. Ever. Especially if they follow it up with some "Terms and Conditions" course (Ace2) back at the terminal. Took 1 and a half weeks off, no e-fund, stuck in Pennsylvania for 2 weeks, running 62 to 65? That all added up to 6 weeks of no pay for me early into driving. Tl;dr: They run you like their equipment. New trucks, new drivers, used up, and out of there in 1 to 3 years. It's a revolving door of fresh blood for this vampire. They bleed you, push for more, or toss you out. Use them by running 58 mph or lower for fuel, run long hours, get an emergency fund, get out of big cities/consumer markets, and TAKE TIME OFF!!! The long version: Again, I used Prime as much as they used me. That's how you make it work. I got my CDL with them BUT I started with 2 CDL classes at a community college back home. I got a Greyhound to SLC, orientation, simulator time, PSD, trifecta on the test, TNT, and then I was aiming for company. I am 100% sure I would have failed the CDL test if I JUST learned through Prime. I know that because I saw 3 other students fail at least 1 time. My PSD trainer was a nutjob going through a divorce. My TNT trainer was a Prime repeat offender. Guy came and went at least 3x before. Generally left me alone, but I think he wanted to be a team driver. I needed training on trip planning. When I'm ready to go solo they show me The Leasemaker. The Leasemaker is a 2015 International Lightweight they keep behind the detail shop collecting dust. It's batteries were dead, so I had it jumped. Twice. Tires weren't too good, and the mileage was suspicious for how old it was. I heard about how my PSD trainer slept on an exit ramp to push-start the truck because Prime was dragging their feet on repairs. One time I jokingly said, "Man, I can't wait to get me a brand new 2019 Cascadia!" he said, "You'll take whatever they give you!" So I asked my TNT trainer about it and he said that truck was garbage and a bad brand. So I took the papers back to Leasing. They gave them back. They said, "I don't have any more trucks for you. Take those papers to bay 47." So I had it jumped. Took the papers to bay 47 and they said, "You have to do the inspection." So I said, "Oh... I see. So I'm supposed to inspect the truck." Nobody told me that. So I mention everything and how I don't want it. Then she says to take the papers back to Leasing, and Leasing says to take them back to Bay 47. The next day I decided to go Lease. 1 week later I have a business bank account, an LLC, a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia Evolution, and a dispatcher for some loads. 11 months after that I have so many service failure records that my contract was cut. I'm not gonna miss my dispatcher. Prime says, "You can shut that truck off whenever you want" DISPATCHER says, "Yeeeeaaah, but I'mma need 2 weeks in advance." The guy SUDDENLY stopped yelling at me for mistakes at the 7 month mark about (probably reported by his coworkers), but I had some hiccups here and there. It was a vicious cycle of: - Make a mistake. - Get cussed out by dispatcher. - Say I'll to do better. - Take a load that's high mileage. - Try to run at 58. - Sleep poorly. - Don't eat well and get nasty because I'm running so much. - Get depressed. - Oversleep and run 65. - Make another mistake. I had 1 joke of an accident at fault that charged me $500, and 1 not at fault. Truck was kept pristine, and Prime knows a bit of damage was caused by a CRST hit-and-run in Baltimore. Truck's finished with its inspection. I hope I'm not charged too much for these minor issues. Edit: Thought I'd add some things. My emergency fund was up to $3900. So the reason why I did the stupid newbie thing and got a brand new truck when leasing is because I wouldn't want something unexpected with a secondhand truck. You can and absolutely will miss or not look at something during an inspection. Then you're in the hole early on.

Some trainers you got working for your company. Dont you know it's illegal to wear flip flops while driving a truck.

steven wilder

Can't wait to get back and join the Company!!!!

Jennifer Yandell

Awsome place to work for.

Christopher Mahley

Love this place. For the most part it's awesome. Robert really cares about his drivers and associates. My dispatcher is awesome.

Rarely do I give 5 stars to anything. I have been working at Prime Inc for half a year now and I am amazed at how efficient and quick everything is here. Prime can not be compared to any other company and I'm so grateful to work with the wonderful people here at Prime. Mr. Lowe has truly built something magnificent.

Justin Aplin

Although Prime is my 2nd trucking company they will be my last. I love my job here at Prime and my pay checks are so much better than my previous company. Prime actually cares and my fleet manager is awesome.

Teresa Parker

They left me stranded in MD. After a so called trainer(not) flipped out and Lied. Had to get home to California. They didn't even reimburse me hotel cost, like they promised. Worst

Wanda Feliciano

I went to millennium restaurant and ordered a Bacon egg & cheese on a roll. When I received my order I discovered the Bacon egg & cheese was I a dinner roll. I went to pay and saw the roll was so tiny. You guys would make more money with getting( Kaiser Rolls). It will sell like hot cakes . They need to hire Older men to repair trucks, Not Teenagers! They need training on how to repair trucks!

Bryan S

Some driver of theirs cut off a line of vehicles on i90 in Erie Pa no turn signals on or anything almost caused a pile up and I called to report him to their safety team but they didnt even care. Wonder how they would have felt paying out millions in legal fees if this individual caused a pile up.

Deavona Milks

Great experience. Great job.

I work there sooo

After I wrote this review I got a exit review suvey on my phone so i guess I'm fired ?They treat there student drivers like they are in some kind of 3 world boot camp . They have no say in what goes on dispatch ignores them like they dont exist I drove without a license my paper copy had expired told them 3 weeks before that my hard copy was at home got totally ignored drove into Springfield with no license at 5 am got my license went too doctor too get my meds for high blood pressure I had been telling them I was out of and was back on truck 5pm the next day my check was reduced because of it . Trainers just worry about the miles you drive they dont teach anything they say they dont have time too teach backing what they really mean is that your not making them money when your backing so they dont help with it. No wonder 80% of your accidents are backing accidents the sim lab backing is terrible it makes people dizzy and disoriented get some old trailer set them up somewhere and let these guys practice if they bump them no harm better than paying for accidents at shippers and receivers, truck stops etc. I am currently waiting on a truck that wasn't part of the deal very discouraged with prime and the way they treat the new drivers if your not on that truck 24/7 your pay is cur they also cheat the clock alot I would drive too reciever get there at 5am after driving 10 too 11 hrs then no use in going ta sleep you are out untarping and taking securement off off the clock then you get unloaded 30 min later you are at shipper getting loaded and trapping and securing load agian by that time it's up in the afternoon you have had no sleep for almost 24hrs maybe get 2 ta 3 hours sleep and back too driving again very dangerous but if you say something you get yelled at . You are the trainers pay check and if your not putting miles straight down the road making them money . They dont care about how tired you are how much sleep you got all they care about is the miles you drive too make them $$$ i am waiting on a truck currently but dont know if I will get one wasn't part of the deal prime I'm un limbo about your company and the way student drivers are treated . Your program needs major improvements listen too what students are saying would be a good start. Your dispatchers /FM have God syndrome and some of your trainers also I emailed prime as I was instructed no response. DONT GO TOO THIS COMPANY TERRIBLE RUDE PEOPLE Worse experience of my life !!!!!!!

I was in the psd program back in 2015, I only came home because of family issues and i'm sorry I did. My trainer was awesome (Guy), and the orientation was great. Man I wish I stayed.

Carolyn Rister

Our Student coming from Windermere Camp bus broke down on the ramp by Prime Inc. Stephen from this wonderful place came and picked up our students from the hot bus and took care of them until we got our bus fixed. Prime made a very bad situation not so bad for our students. Thank you so much!!! Salem Baptist Church Stonewall Louisiana

Would never work here again! Was injured and couldn't return to work for a couple of months so they fired me, but that's not the worst part they put I quit and when I called in to speak with dispatch and whomever they got on the phone. They responded with why does it matter you longer work here, but you can try and reply, we put you down for eligible rehire. Had to pay out of pocket for all my medical expenses, because they didnt give me proper guidance. I was told I'd be reimbursed by workmens comp, but that wasn't true it was only if I went to the specific doctor they never told me about. It took me months to be able to use my hand again absolutely horrid job.

Kennedy Rene’

Warning Don’t work under Terri Higdon!! She will harass and slander you. And the people over her have their heads in the clouds and don’t care about their drivers all they care about is protecting the people who worked there for 10+ years. And if you have problems they won’t let you switch driver managers. They want to push you out of Prime. Not all people are bad but if you hear her name RUN and if you do work under this sorry excuse for a driver leader then I’d advise you to keep on foot out of the door because she will sabotage you!! Other than that I love the facility. Salon and grill are good. I also love the work out facility every time I go there I get in a good workout and hot shower.

Travis Jackson

This company has given me a start in trucking by training me and providing me with the opportunity to get my CDL. I have had nothing but positive experiences so far and I'm really excited for this lifestyle and opportunity to provide for my family. Everyone has been friendly and helpful in my journey and I recommend prime to anyone looking for a better company and especially if you are looking to get your CDL. If you are hungry for growth and development they will help you.

Clayton Edwards

Nice place, sorry my sister did them wrong in my eyes.

sadik rabah

I joined prime last year September 2019 , got my training 40.000 miles . I feel discomfort my first weeks . Some of my friends told me the company is not good . but my older brother who is ex prime retired driver told me prime is best company of trucking . He told me they have well maintained trucks, safety is no 1 , they also pay good, After I completed my training I lease truck, I have seen all those things my brother told me , N/B Never listen those who feel to perform their work If you work smart and hard . You will get all you went

John Moore

Hear they are good to work for

Deborah Doane Kersey

Great place to work. Very nice caring staff who does their job's effectively and proficient. So happy to work here.

Mike Maddox

Great company to work for. Everyone has and was so helpful. In getting my wife and I started up. Meet a lot of people there. Made several new friends. And Jeff Murphy is the BEST fleet manager!!

Lyle Chapman

Worst mistake of my life. Waited to long and when I did get a load it was dirt cheap. Don't agree on the trainers pay the students wages. Yes nice terminals but terminals don't pay my bills. Sales is a joke. Making a hell a lot more here where I'm at now doing flat bed. Plus I'm home every two weeks for at least for the weekend.

Jacob Gatlin

I'm a current PSD student been here 2 weeks and all I can say is this has been an amazing experience! Everything on the website is true and some. If you can't make it at Prime it's not Prime it's you! They are very patient and they work hard to help you every step of the way from day 1!!! Only negative if I have one is that I'm waiting on a trainer. Other then the wait I would recommend Prime for anyone thats a hard worker.

Yassine Merghni

This school has rude trainors and they send you home of you commit even small mistake.i recommend you don't even think of this school

Karen Brown

Great place and helpful staff

Ahmed nuur feyleey

Wow i give them 20 star but cant find it

austin scott

Not a very good company to work for. Trainers are Very unprofessional and they bully and talk down to there students. And the company won’t do anything about it

Jon Doe

Recently I was nearly killed by a driver with Prime, INC. The driver cut my vehicle off the road for no reason. I was forced onto the shoulder and had an abandoned vehicle been present my lawyer or family would be writing this review. I notified the Louisiana State Police and filed a report. After contacting the company shortly after and voicing my concerns no one returned my phone call. I contacted the company 5 days later and a man in the “safety department” said he “was sorry”. I don’t know who owns this company but I would not want the lady who answered our call, the driver of the truck, or the man who said he “was sorry” working for my company. Thus far the OWNER of the company has not contacted me to offer anything... What a disgrace !

Ariel Strother

I heard Prime has a good training program. I want to join Prime and get my cdl. The only problem I have is I let my Cdl permit expire here in South Carolina, can't get another one until like another year, will that be a problem? My driving record good DOT physical good.

Terry Halstead

My Spouse is an Owner/Op and loves this company.

I was having some experience when i was starting prime, but they put me in training, it took me 3months, after training i did the test to upgraded, i pass the test and ready to go. Unfortunately, dispatch name craig Brown, he told me you have to go to flatbed department, i was train in reefer, and get another training, or i will go back to my former trainer to drive with him as a student. I was surprised to hear, i told him why? But he didn't give good reason, i come back next morning, craig Brown call security and i was taken out the building with no reason. I quit the second day when to my home. This happen to me in 2013, and i will never for get that. Craig Brown you deserve to get fire or sucked. I wish he knowns how successful i am right now....drivers has millions options not prime only.

Ian Graves

Always a great experience from employees who value what you do. Good food at cafe with very reasonable prices. Nice new terminal buildings!

Dabray s

DO NOT and I mean DO NOT go to this driving school. They are a great organized company to work for but do not go through their school program. If you have never driven a truck before choose another program. You will be thrown into very difficult situations on the road and all your trainer is going to do is just yell. Learn how to drive before you come here.

Timothy Charles

Been driving for 33years prime is the best company I've ever worked for.

Tee Cee

Good company, they need better traininers, the dispatchers dont care about the drivers. I asked for help many times and was ignore or told no. There trucks are in good conditions. The hotels are pretty good, the inhouse trainers are pretty good. Prime has a lot of sucessful drivers Their lease operator program is a scam and its trash. They allow trainers who discriminate and mistreat people to keep there jobs.

James Auslam

Good country home cooked and southern hospitality

Mista T dawg

Love me some prime inc.

Charles Sellars

Great place to work really care for drivers

Sheila Hill

This company is in a class of it's own. Top notch, organized and professional. The way they value their staff and drivers is the standard by which many companies should follow. Would give more stars, as Prime deserves it!

Kathrine Mizell

Great company to work for they always take very good care of my husband

Mohamed Adan

The dispatchers don't treat you with respect. After being on the road.

brady langholz

So apparently this is not an equil opertunity employer based on how I was treaded. CDL holder with clean driving record and ready to work is not qualified because don't have recent work history. Seems kinda medded up to fault someone for taking time off to be with family. And when theire ready to work again they get stink eye. I would not reamed this company anyone for said morel choices. But that's my opinion

John Sanders

Great place to work.

Jonathan Cooper

Only the very best. The most professional. The highest of quality training and fleet of trucks.

Amanda Goodwin

I’m a driver for a competitor of yours. I won’t mention their name. I feel obliged to tell you what I’ve just witnessed. Your trainer on truck #690586 has to be the most efficient and patient trainer I’ve ever seen. He walked around the truck and did a COMPLETE pre trip with his student. I am absolutely impressed with him. I only wish my trainer would have cared 1/3 as much as you’re man. Super job Prime. He is producing efficient drivers. By the way we are at Interstate Warehouse Joliet, Illinois on 8-24-18 @ 20:48 in case I’ve gotten the truck number wrong. Jared Goodwin

Peyton McMahan

Just witnessed one of your drivers nearly run 2 vehicles off the road. Incident occurred at approximately 4:50pm on Sunday, May 19 on I-26 at MM 144. License plate is 03B-446. Mississippi tag. There is also a vehicle number on the front of the truck (660837).

I got my CDL with Prime Inc. In 2009 They had a clean beautiful Terminal in Springfield MO. My Trainer was have crazy and chewed straws all day the man was a lease driver/ trainer and he was stressed out bad. He didn't do a good job teaching me to back. Thankfully Prime had good people at the Terminal that spent the weekend with me teaching me so I could get my CDL. I had a Family Emergency at home and had to leave. 3 weeks later I called them eager to return I was about a month away from getting my own truck as a company driver. They said I couldn't come back. I was very surprised and kinda devastated. I wish things could have been Different.....

Jeremy Andra

Very impressed for this facility for truckers. Activities, sports, even physician offices. Very impressive. If you found this review helpful, please like it. Thanks

egokilr _cobra

Worked for prime back in 2012 and I loved every bit of it and had the BEST hands down trainer/team driver ever!!! All around the company is a great and is definitely a good company to get your feet wet and start out at or even longterm wise.

Allisen Alexander

Huge, lots of space for maneuvering. Plenty of washers/dryers for laundry. Truck/trailer/flatbed/tanker washes are dynamic. Truck shop and techs or mechanics are great and proficient at their tasks and are very helpful. Same as the detail shop and all departments in the millennium building and the newer plaza building. North Star Grille has great food and all staff at terminal work very hard and proficiently . Grounds are beautifully landscaped and usually all lots are very clean. Great place of business, great staff, great location, great terminal. Great instructors and examiners. Last but not least, fantastic school .

Donald Talovich

great company to work for

Alzonia Chalise!

Great place to work. Very family oriented. This was my first choice in choosing a school to learn how to drive a tractor. And I must say to this day I have no regrets! I’ve learned and am learning so much. Prime is an awesome place to work and I especially love it’s open door policy for its employees. From day one I’ve felt like I had a family here at Prime.

Chad Munt

Loving every day good or bad just roll with the punches and you will be fine...a good company to work with!!

Zello M

Started this company as a rookie with about 6 months experience. I went out on the road with a trainer for about a month, he pretty much had me sitting in the passenger seat and used my clock to run all the loads. i swear to god he drove 23 hours alone one night non stop, he just kept stopping to switch the clock around. I literally drove about 3 hours out the entire month. After training he recommended that I start off as a lease driver, claiming I can make a ton of money. I took his advice, after training I leased a truck with prime and it was the worst experience ever. They would have me sitting a lot telling me they don’t have loads for me to run and some weeks I would owe them money at the end of the week. The dispatcher will play games with you acting like he doesn’t have good loads when really he’s just giving them to his favorite drivers knowing you have a $1000 truck payment over your head. As soon as you tell him you ready to quit he will give you a load going from Newark nj to Long Beach California. The lowest checks I had was negative $150 2 weeks in a row. it took me 3 weeks to get out of the whole. I never went home the entire time I leased. The truck payments were around $1000 a week. Driver pays for maintenance outside of warranty. So if a tractor tire blows you are responsible for it. If you damage the truck in any way you can be charged a large amount depending on how bad it is. You will pay for truck towing, no matter if you a company driver or lease. After about a month and a half i took that truck back to the terminal and switched to company driver. The experience was a little better. I drove with company for about a year then I decided to turn my truck in to move on to better things. I told them I wanted to drop the truck off at the Wilkes barre terminal. They told me I can take it there so I went there and turned in all my equipment and they inspected the truck. Everything was good. I payed my own way home because they wouldn’t, whatever I just wanted to leave. I then applied for a new job and the company I wanted to work for denied me because I had abandonment on my DAC report. So I had to call prime to take it off, I guess someone did that out of spite I’m not sure. Anyway If you thinking about going to this company I would recommend that you be a company driver, but overall I do not recommend over the road truck driving to anyone. The money you will make at prime you can make that doing something else. Do not waste your life here. I drove all 48 states and it was nothing to see. If I wanna travel I’d rather go on trips with ppl I know. Over the road is not what you think it is. It’s a boring senseless lifestyle. I gained a lot of weight living out there. I literally heard of ppl dying in the trucks for being unhealthy. Men are dying at young ages for trying to make a couple dollars in trucking. I’m not writing this review to bash the company. I just want to inform people of what I went through. Thanks if you read this!

GasOut Viper

This company is not very good. Dispatchers are brain dead.

Birdman Wilson

Great truck training !

Peggy Tremblay

Very nice place.

I would not recommend a driving job for someone with a family. My husband started his CDL training in feb 2018. It is now june and My children and I have only seen him for a total of 6 days since February. He gets a measly 500 check from prime and that goes to food and the showers you have to pay for on the road. I have no as a Registered Nurse pick up a 2nd job to cover all our bills. His children are a mess without him...since "daddy has always worked in town. He was told by his first training instructor that he makes 350,000 a year as a PSD instructor.....THAT is fals hope and an empty promise. He has to get a 2nd training instructor due to the 1st instructors failure to do his job...keep in mind this is a driver driving with sugar levels 400 plus and when DOT physical time comes around he sleeps in his truck and doesn't eat for two days so he can pass his DOT physical. The 2nd instructor did "short hauls" which has prolonged my husband's mileage requirements. He will miss his childrens birthdays, our family vacation, our 5th wedding anniversary as well as christmas and thanksgiving. This is a horrible progam that has us in debt for his schooling now....THEN i was informed once his millage is done I will get to see him 24 days out of the year...most importantly his children. His 2nd instructor faild to inspect a trailer and when the load was dropped off to the next guy a complaint was made. His trainer NEVER inspected the trailer and the tires were shredding. My husband though this would give pur family financial freedom....well. All this company has done so far is put us in dept and tear our whole family apart. Job well done prime!!!!!

Brik SOAB Logistics

Beautiful & amazing experience One of the best trucking companies Home of hard working people Men & women alike working with dignity and respect .

Erik Merry

I had a great time at Prime Inc their lease program was fantastic although considering the slowly tanking freight market their program is going to have to change to be more profitable I would like to give this company five stars but the two major factors that go into why I'm only giving four is because of the amount of damaged equipment done by all the steering-wheelholders who work here all the new trailers are damaged in some way and the only ones you can find that are reliable are the 2016-2017 sometimes '18 trailers reason number two the lack of hometime again I did lease with a friend of mine and it's great except for the extortionate truck payments and amounts taken from your settlements weekly often times I'd get less than a week off from a whole month and a half two months of being out on the road overall I'd say this is a fairly decent company but the lease is kind of a enter at your own risk.

Susan Henderson

We work for Prime. The terminal is huge, the employees are nice and the cafe may be a place to get a meal, but the meals here are huge! Its Missouri, so service is slow, just breathe and let it go. Relax, no one is in a hurry here! Nice gym and places to just chill

Manuel B

I was not going to post this but I feel the need to expose a fraudulent person. Someone from this company by the name of W.Moore ordered a brand-new set of truck parts. Just a little over 2 months after the parts were delivered, a charge-back claim was filed on their behalf. He never returned the merchandise, how dishonest can you be? Hope your team is not as dishonest as you. It is not even worth taking you to court, hope you reflect on your actions, God bless you.

Fame Has No Name

Best pay I have ever received at any company. The best thing that has ever happened to my family. My four kids, and my lady at home wouldnt be where we are today if it was not for Prime inc. My life was forever changed by this place.

Kenneth Bebout

Best trucking company to work for. The Google of trucking.

Lenee Slash

Overall a super great company, they do take care of all of their employees, still pretty new here but you can see the owner cares. Cafeteria is great!

Gillian Sullivan

In Albuquerque, New Mexico on July 15th 2019 at about 10:15 am I saw a prime truck driver display the most foul behavior. He almost ran into multiple cars and at least one off the road around the Wyoming exit on I40 traveling east...He then proceeded to wave happily and make joking jesters while he laughed about putting so many lives at risk! DISGUSTING! I will continue to leave one star reviews on all my accounts and so will the 3 others I had in my vehicle who were also witness until something has been done about this threat!! ANY COMPANY WHO DOES NOT INVESTIGATE AND TAKE NECESSARY STEPS TO KEEP US SAFE SHOULD NOT STAY IN BUSINESS!! PLEASE RESPOND AND REMEMBER YOU ALL HAVE PEOPLE ON THE ROAD YOU CARE FOR...ANYONE BEING PAID TO DRIVE SHOULD BE SAFER THAN THE REST! PS...to help in investigating his cab was Purple

Robert Burks

I was lied to for over a year about being put on a southeast regional route. Prime will tell you what you want to hear to keep you making them money, but they don't follow through. This company is set up to make the owner money on the backs of the driver slaves and they don't care if you stay or go because they have 125 new slaves come through every week. Good riddance!

robert propst

Been driving for prime almist 5yrs now...prime treats you like you are somebody i have no regrets coming to work for them...if you need something they are there for you

Jonathan Adams

Great company to work for.

Koal Trayne

Awesome. Truly is the future of trucking. They keep their trucks in awesome working order, and truly want to help. Great staff, and amazing amenities.

monica & Steven H

The terminal is very nice they are pretty good programs just don't go work for BLC or any of their sister companies because they pay less than what prime does and if you work for one of our sister companies you have to wait 6 months of being unemployed before you can go back to work with Prime which I understand I take a lot of pride and how they service their customers and their drivers brand new bass in and out home of the $10 Truck Wash as long as you got a Prime trailer hooked to your truck they do an excellent job the new terminal has a hair salon Spa 24-hour cafe and tons of parking but if you do not work for Prime please don't go over to the terminal and try to park you are not a prime driver thank you have a nice day

Puttputt 198425

One star should say about this place. Enough said.

It's like trucker heaven!! While your in for truck repairs or etc, you can relax in bunk room or enjoy a hot meal, watch a movie shoot pool or shoot hoops. I always meet nice fellow truckers.. Thanks to everyone there for all the hard work keeping clean and safe& relaxing..

Mikaela Pluff

One of their drivers just almost ran me, and multiple other vehicles off the road in Fulton ny..They had no respect for the roadway, throwing hand signals and screaming at people after THEY switch lanes 4 times in the middle of 5 o'clock traffic. When I called, was on hold for almost ten minutes then was dismissed quickly when actually talking to someone. Sad that they don't care about people's safety..

Glenda Gould

Felicity Courtway

Awesome facilities friendly staff very clean

Mirza Ghafoor

Just starting out. Got through the classes, got my CDL permit and now on the road with an excellent trainer. Loved the process. Painless and straight forward. Yet extremely complicated if you choose to make it so

Blue Eyes

Fairly friendly people and good amenities for drivers

Tim Sales

People was rude I will never go back

Ashley ?

I worked for them and they fired me. I filed for unemployment and they said I quit which was a flat out lie and what's worse they had the manager lie with the same story.

Deb O

I'm only a rider, not a driver. Everyone seems very happy to be working there. And I love purple, and it's everywhere!

Thomas Wahlert

Great company, some FM can be hard to deal with. Really the only issue I have is fm. I had to go thru two to get the right one.

So I started with prime 4 years ago and left them to go local for 2 years and now I’m back. And it feels so good to be back. They really upgraded the place and it looks amazing. And I still don’t think their done construction. I get in and out quickly here now. Before it used to b so long trying to get thru the bay. But not no more. Waaaay more places to park the truck now with or without a trailer. It just looks so good now. Place is huge. The best OTR company to work for hands down. You will never find a terminal like this with any other company. Just signed the lease to my truck and I’m back out here on the road again in my new 2019 freightliner. Check it out

I started at Prime in Feb 2017 and left March 2019. While there, I was able to learn a lot about the trucking industry and how to be a professional driver. The amenities provided at Primes terminals are indeed awesome. And the office staff are rather pleasant and get things done. However, due to the large number of drivers, it is easy for one to fall between the cracks. Issues go unresolved and truck maintenance is shoddy at best. Something to realize as a lease operator is that the truck is not yours, even though you foot the bill (up to $1,050 per week!) for 3-4 years depending on your contract. They do offer a lease purchase program after a period of time there. The training program has lately begun to focus more on quantity over quality of driver, and there is very little quality control over driver trainers. Again, this is due to how many drivers there are in total. The reasons I left I will keep personal, but for the most part I was happy with my time at Prime. I still suggest it to those looking to get their CDL and get some experience as the training program is one of the best of the mega carriers. But I also suggest doing your 1-2 years and finding a smaller company that wont just treat you as a number. All in all, I appreciate Prime for giving me my start, but it ended up not being a career company for me.

Kiel Oates

The dispatchers don't treat you with respect. After being on the road for 10 weeks straight I should have gotten 10 days at home. After only 5 my dispatcher called but couldn't get a hold if me due to being with family. So he had my truck towed back to Springfield with all my stuff in it. And I still haven't got anything of my things.

Donta Knight

I’m well over my 30,000 training miles but was never swung through my home state to change over my license, so therefore I can’t upgrade yet. These first 3-4 months with Prime has been frustrating, very unorganized company so far.

gen manion

Awe. Like lie lie. That was all it was. They only want driver's they can train and push their way, not DOT law. Very discriminative for disabled veterans and legal service dogs. But had many pets over 100#.

Keith Wilson

My brother drives for Prime. It was a very nice facility with great food and support services for their drivers.

bat jitsu

Company is far from the glory it once was. Also many of staff are severely unappreciated and under payed.

John Horine

Shamelessly seeking something for nothing against Amazon Prime. The trucking industry ebbs and flows and Prime inc seeks to gain money from another companies success. Ashamed of yet another socialist company from Missouri. As a shipping manager of one of the nation's largest paper companies we will eagerly use any other carrier regardless of cost.

Joann Clark

Nice place. Nice cafeteria. Great Place for employees

Mateo Perez

Worse place to work for! Trash!

Mini Love

Absolutely the best place to work and make real money

shana young

If could go lower then one star I would. My husband started there student driver program 3 months ago and it’s been hell since day one! What makes it worse is he was in TNT phase and his trainer put him out of the truck in the middle of nowhere in Maryland. His trainer said he could do that if he wanted to.

Albert Robertson

The company is a scam. It keeps showing up that I drove for them. I never sat in one of their trucks. Having my lawyer check into them and straighten this mess out. What a fraud.

Kenya Jones

After working for this business , I am left feeling split about it . Some good pros to it , like some of the staff is genuinely friendly . Nice ,clean mostly new trucks (company driver), lovely grounds / landscape . Good places to eat inside the facility and within 5-10 miles of Prime. Cons : Some staff will lie to your face , cheat you out of your money if you don't watch them like a hawk . They will pin bad loads on you ,when it was clearly screwed up long before the driver got to the load . Fake unfriendly staff that will give you the run around so they don't have to deal with you ( or they are clueless on how to answer you ) . Overall , a few good things there that help you along the way , but very bad for business , shady type dealings going on .

Ruben

Prime inc is lowering pay and making student and Cdl holders with less than 6 months experience, drive more miles while in training. 600 to 800 dollars a week while driving 2500 miles a week, yeah right? Be ready to slave away when you come work for this company. I guess they need the money for when they loss that lawsuit going to the Supreme Court. Better off going to swift at this point. RUN!!!

Jackie Parham

Our church (Salem Baptist ) from Stonewall, La. was stranded on I-65 right by Prime Inc. WHAT A BLESSING THEY WERE TO US!! We had 15 young people( had just left summer youth camp from Lake of the Ozark headed home) 5 Adults & 11 month old baby on the HOT church bus. A sweet, nice gentleman from Prime( his name was Stephen T.) was so helpful to us. They came & got us off the HOT bus & transported to Prime Inc. There they had lunch for our kids and entertainment to keep them occupied. We were there for about 7 hours until we could get back on the road. SHOUT OUT TO STEPHEN & OTHERS FOR ALL YOUR HELP. THANK YOU FOR BEING A BLESSING TO US!!!!! We will never forget it.

Catrina Evans

My good friends work here and gave me a tour and it looks like an awesome place to work! Finding the correct parking space was a pure challenge though! So many gates! They have a gym and a spa and a food court and a Prime Merch shop it was so interesting! I feel like prime really takes care of its employees

Leslie Clarity

After this experience with prime I will never work for Prime again you couldn't pay me enough to work for prime

jerry clayton

Home Sweet Home for Prime Drivers.

Jazmin Davis

Julie was really rude after i constantly tried to explain i only had 2 moving violations over a year ago but SOME HOW SHE FACTOR IN 4 moving violations. Claiming i did not quality. Terrible

Craig Weed

Yes prime has some issues like being the slowest trucks out there but I wouldnt want to be anywhere else right now at all they work with you and give more then enough time to get everything done that you need to get done and are very reasonable with everything I just love working for prime

Bishop C. L. Richardson

For years I have been a 5 star residential A/C technician, I came to prime simply for the opportunity to become a Truck Driver and hopefully increase my income...I've been driving well over six months now with no accident or violations just recieved my 6 month safety notification...Prime in my opinion is a great company...My only concern is the loads that I am getting doesn't pay very well I am a lease Driver and I have good friends that I graduated with are doing well and getting good paying loads we do have different dispatchers though...I really do love driving for prime but I may have to leave to seek better pay opportunities to support my family...

Howard Goff

Awesome company to work for and most of the equipment is fairly new. You're treated more like a person here than a number like some other companies. If you got a CDL and looking for a job. I would recommend this place and our main terminal is awesome!

Kenya Parker

I been driving for 9 yrs. Prime Inc is the first company I ever drive for. Nobody's yard's can compare to Prime's. Great Job Rob. And let's not forget Springfield has the best Philly Cheese Steak's. I really miss the people there. Hands down the best company ever.

Steve B

Best place I've ever worked.

mark bergman

Great Place to start driving. Friendly dispatchers.

Stormie Black

I just started the student program a week ago and I cannot fully put into words how amazing this is... I'll try though. The instructors are amazing! They were there every step of the way to help and encourage me! The people that work here are friendly and will help you with anything with a smile on their face. They care about their drivers. They have health classes to help you stay healthy, winter driving classes for those of us that need that extra training (paid training), maintained equipment (no trailers over 4yo), newer trucks (none over 4yo), and so much more. Rob Lowe cares alot about the people that work for him and has a open door policy for anyone who has concerns. If you want to learn how to drive and work for a great company I highly suggest going to Prime!
