Mohawk Moving and Storage packed our home and loaded our things for moving from Minnesota to Ohio. They did a great job and made a hard move easy and enjoyable. The men who packed and load our things were pleasant and professional to deal with. I would strongly recommend them to others moving.

Larry gave the estimate, almost to the pound. Travis and the team worked non-stop throughout sub-zero temps without complaint. The professionalism went beyond comparison. The spirit this team projected was contagious, it was a sight to behold. Our family was so at ease after these guy's arrived, we went out for lunch while they loaded out. Bill gave us an estimated time of arrival to move in and even after the metro region took the largest snowfall of the year, they showed up on time almost to the minute, we never thought they would make it. With some of the toughest HOA guidelines in the business, these guys moved almost 6,000 lbs of household goods up 3 flights of stairs, without the aid of an elevator no less, in -20 temperatures. There really isn't any way to describe these men, super, awesome? Really what can we say, beyond description! Never one complaint, always smiling, the very toughest of conditions. 5 stars, not enough, they get 1,000!

Rita, the sales rep was outstanding, very helpful The move went very smooth. The 2 movers were fantastic, very upbeat and efficient! The time frames given for pick up and delivery were both very accurate. I would highly recommend them. They helped make the move across country less stressful. The movers at the final destination went above and beyond to make sure everything was put together and in its place.

I really loved this moving company...they were really great. The two guys that moved my sister's apt. into a storage facility (Todd and John;) were careful, efficient and just really friendly. Rita, who was the salesperson was really great as well...friendly , efficient, great followup. The quote was correct...in the past i have been low-balled and when the move took more hours, I was left holding the bag. What i was quoted with Mohawk....I received. All of our items were efficiently packed (even ahead of schedule) and delivered on time without incident. Moving is difficult in the best of circumstances and they made it as painless as possible. This company is one of the most inefficient and unprofessional companies I have ever worked with. There people were fast but highly incompetent and horrible at communicating. They made my moving experience very unpleasent and more of a hassle than anything else. I would never recommend them to anybody. My move was delayed multiple times and was not done effectively.

We packed ourselves. Driver and helpers went out of their way to avoid tracking in snow and wet when loading. Everything arrived on time without damage. This was going from MN to AZ.

Terrible experience so far. Do not trust them to deliver on their contract date! I'll update the review once I get my belongings. *Update 7/4 - Our house was packed on 6/19 and we were told it would be delivered on the 23rd or 24th to VA. That date came and went and they had no ETA. Our contract had a guaranteed delivery date of no later than 6/30. That date came and went and still had no delivery date available, and they warned it could be 1-2 more weeks since this was a busy season and they couldn't find anyone in VA to deliver. On 7/3 we were told they hoped to have our delivery scheduled on 7/6 or 7/7 but they couldn't promise anything. It's been hard to get anyone on the phone and most of our VM is answered by an email and not a return call. I believe that we deserve better customer service from Mowhawk considering how bad this has gone.

My second experience with Mohawk Moving and Storage was as good as my first one, one year ago. Mohawk Movers know their business very well, from offering professional packing services, to scheduling the move, to loading and unloading and reassembling major items such as beds, all done cheerfully. Our moves have been complicated by having to shuttle everything from our homes in a smaller truck, then loading the big truck, moving to two different locations in a single trip, and moving when the weather was horrible. They did it all, and I am a very satisfied customer. Their prices are competitive.

My work contracted Mohawk to move my items out to the east coast from Minnesota. In general it seems moving experience all comes down to the crew that handles your items. Pedro did a fantastic job carefully wrapping my furniture so that it all arrived in the same condition; clearly secured my things in his semi well. He was very timely, for the move out and move in, arrived at or before the time window he provided me. Also was very fast in and out. Was a great experience and would highly recommend.

United is the preferred moving service vendor for my employer, who moves quite a few people each year. I can say that my employer has done a great job of vetting moving companies. The overall management of the move was excellent, with responses provided in less than a day. Great response to any issue or concern, which there were very few. The drivers, packers, movers and support staff were professional and helpful. They all genuinely cared about our goods and treated them like their own. Great service! Definitely recommend! Should be 0 stars but had to select one star...Hired for move from MN to CA. Horribly dishonest sales rep quoted packing/loading/moving. I self-packed many boxes but got no credit after being told I would get a credit. On moving day, Mohawk sent a crew of only 2 people to load my stuff which took 10+ hours. It got so bad that I had to step in to help just to get it done before sundown. Called Mohawk to send more movers but they ignored me. Then the moving truck broke down in Phoenix for a week in 115+ degree temps and melted all of my plastic storage bins to which I was told "you can put in a claim but United will only pay you $.25 for each one" by the unload crew. They did nothing to protect my belongings from the heat so not sure how much more stuff they ruined. Sent an email to my sales rep, Ron Dvoracek, requesting a refund and he completely ignored it.I would NEVER recommend Mohawk or United/Mayflower for a long distance move, not even to my worst enemy. Most dishonest company I've ever had to work with. My advice? Hire your own crew and do it yourself!

This was my last company to deal with for my final MILITARY move. Nancy Matson is "running" this place apparently. On at least 4 occasions she claimed she would send me an invoice so i could pay the company and did not. I also requested one in person and again never received it. Then i scheduled the delivery of my goods with Nancy, She assured me everything would be done and that she was going out of town so someone else would be handling her accounts. Well when i talked to the person handling her accounts it became apparent that she never even scheduled my delivery before she went on vacation, causing me to have to shift my schedule around for a second time to accommodate a new move date. I would NEVER USE THEM again and would recommend the same to anyone I care about.

We have dealt with numerous moving companies over the years and Mohawk Moving and Storage, they did an exceptional job! Firstly, they were punctual on their days of work. Secondly, all of their employees were very well mannered, gracious, respectful, and above all, they were honest. My wife, unbeknownst to us, had misplaced a piece of jewelry. One of the movers found the piece (beneath furniture)and immediately brought it to our attention. Thirdly, they work at an incredibly rapid pace. Fourthly, they had great attitudes and their overall moods and temperaments were positive and jovial. Lastly, they were patient and long- suffering whilst having to pack and move with small children present. I would recommend them, as well as use, Mohawk Moving & Storage again.

We moved to Baudette, Mn and had Billy, Anthony, Chris and John from Mohawk move us. We went from stressed to having an enjoyable experience with this crew. They were efficient, careful, courteous and entertaining. They padded all the doorways, put down carpet protectors, were careful with all the fragile items. My husband kept wanting to get in there and help and they assured him it was ok to relax as they were hired for this job. I would HIGHLY recommend this particular crew. They made the move so easy.

Great movers, we've moved 13 times in the last 15 years and this experience was one of the best. Josh and his crews were very professional, efficient, and took great care of our household goods. A mattress got torn on a damaged crate, and before it was even off the truck, Josh called and reported it and I had a claims process e-mail in less than a minute. We moved into a brand new house, and they took excellent care of the floors and walls. Communication with the company was excellent throughout the entire process, and they were very flexible with special requests and scheduling. Definitely recommend Mohawk.
