Could not "find my address" in the middle of a well travelled street in Linden Hills, SW Mpls., Never, ever picked up their phone to answer it the several times I called and let it ring 100 times.Finally got a "The wireless customer you are calling is not answering this number at this time" message. No duh. LAME. The 1-800 number said they'd "send them a message" about delivering my package but I am beginning to wonder if anyone exists in that office.

11:39: With delivery courier 20:37: Delivery attempted - consignee premises closed. I live in a publicly-accessible neighborhood. My driveway is open--not gated. I had the porch lights on and was sitting in the room immediately adjacent to my front door, reading a book. I had a clear view of the road outside my house. No delivery truck even drove past my house, let alone pulled into the driveway and attempted to make a delivery. The courier obviously decided "Screw this, I want to go home" and just signed off for the day. I will be contacting the seller of the product I'm waiting for and advising them that a different provider should be used.

Missed my package the first time because they couldn't place a simple call when they got to my apartment. I rescheduled delivery and they couldn't even give any time frame so I had to stay at home the whole day. Poor service

You have to understand DHL, what it is, and what it isn't. They've moved away from consumer shipments (i.e. direct competition with FedEx and UPS) and are more geared towards businesses and distributors. I have shipped internationally with DHL, FedEx, and UPS... DHL is hands down #1, FedEx is very good, UPS hands off the package to local courier companies, so forget it. I get 15 lb shipments from the UK in 1 businesses day for like $45 bucks. I ship to some difficult developing countries and DHL is always very helpful if there are customs delays. A few people gave bad reviews to vent about their bad experience, but don't bee fooled, DHL is the best of the best as far getting the package from point A to point B. Search around the internet for DHL discounters, or check with one of their retail drop off centers (3rd party stores) which probably offer discounts too.

When amazon used an old address to for my packages destination I my package was locked up here in purgatory because they only allow the sender to update the shipping address. I tried to call this outlet directly but the listed phone number incorrect. I guess I'm just SOL.

Just got a notice at 836 pm that an attempt to deliver was made at 826 pm and I want home. I've been home since 4pm. So obviously no delivery attemt was made. If you can deliever a package because it's 830 at night just say that.

Absolutely worst package delivery experience ever. I have been living in the same apartment building for five years and never had a package delivery issue before- until I had a DHL package (for just s t-shirt) to be delivered. My apartment building is very secure. Despite doing a signature release AND instructions on how/where to leave the package, the delivery driver refused to leave the package unless I was home. The driver wouldn't even leave the package in the secure mail room, which only residents have access to (and I could let him in via buzzing him in from the call box on which he called me from). Apparently, if you live in an apartment building you HAVE to be home, despite instructions and releases from the customer. That's ridiculous! If you live in a house, you don't HAVE to be home?! I work a full time job and two part time jobs - I'm never home when packages are delivered! Simply unrealistic and frustrating. Customer service said it's for the security of the package. Are you kidding me? FedEX, USPS, and UPS all leave their packages in the vestibule or mail room and no one in our building has ever had a package stollen.

If we all agree not to do business with DHL, under any circumstances, maybe they’ll go out if business and we’ll all win. That’s the dream anyway. I ordered from a merchant who paid DHL to deliver my purchase to my home. DHL told me there was a signature requirement, and that they inly delivery on week days, when I work. So I waived the signature. They didn’t deliver, so want of a signature. I assumed there was some sort of computer error, so I waived the signature requirement again, for redelivery the next day. They again did not deliver, so want of a signature. At that point I called DHL, who promised me they would deliver the next day without a signature. But the DHL employee was lying to my face. They did not even attempt to deliver to me again. When I called to complain, the representative told me that drivers are given free rein to not deliver to residences that “look insecure,” even if the customer specifically requests they do so. I was told the only option was to drive, 45 minutes each way, to a DHL location to pick up the package. The worst part of the whole saga was that, immediately after forcing me to waste an hour and a half due to their refusal to do the job they were paid to do, DHL had the temerity to tell me that the policy of refusing to deliver—even when I specifically told them that I have deliveries all the time have lived there years and have not once had a package stolen—was somehow for my benefit. Disgusting. I will never do business with this company ever again.

Location closed during business hours according to their site. I drove an hour over here. Not to mention the reason I had to drive over here is because the delivery driver repeatedly ignored my delivery instructions and online signature for over a week.

They always put in false tracking information when they fail to deliver on time. My package, which I still haven't received yet has been with them since Thursday. On Friday they put in "Delivery attempted; recipient not home" which was a total lie because they never showed up to deliver. I had also signed a release for them to leave on Front door days earlier so package should have been delivered even if I wasn't home. If they also tried to deliver, which they didn't even try, they should have been a door tag/notification left (nothing left). It's almost noon on Monday and tracking information hasn't been updated and not even sure if this will be delivered today. Bad customer service for a service that should be reliable and fast.

As I read all the 1 Star reviews I see others got the same treatment as me. Package was expected Thursday. I waited all day and when it never came O checked status and it said “on hold due to weather” which is a joke bc it wasn’t even snowing yesterday. Rescheduled for today, Friday. Waited all day, checking door and mailbox multiple times. It’s now end of day and I check status again. This time it says that they attempted to deliver it at 1215 and I wasn’t home. I was home all day, and sitting a yard away from the front door. There is absolutely no way they came, and clearly lie on the status of their shipments bc the carriers don’t get to them in time and want to go home. It sounds like they aren’t open on weekends so now I have to wait all weekend to get my package. Assuming it will come Monday, it will be 5 days late.

SERVICE LACKS EVERYTHING. Cant get a price quote online. Cant find the address to go there. Cant get simple Office Hours. Call local DHL only to have some soft voice guy tell me to call DHL Express. ( dont think he wanted to take the call) I call the 800 number. which again tell me call dhl expres, ok so I call them, get the run around and finally get a high rate which, Which can be discounted by 20 to 25% if I open an account ONLINE and process he shipment ONLINE. Really. Open an account to ship one thing. I give up my Credit card information online and call in a pick up . And . . no one comes to pick up. After another attempt I am told that my shipment does not fit what was ordered and I have to re-do the process. THATS WHY I WANTED TO GO TO YOUR OFFICE. The website is NOT user friendly. not . at . all . I Am highly suspicious and skeptical of this service. I feel if I give them the package they will probably feed it to the alligators and keep my $230 instead of shipping to the consulate in central america. bleh. Why do business like this? why? to add insult to injury If I dont give them one star I cant make this post. : |

Drivers typically mark packages as "Tried to deliver but no one was home." Yesterday I was home and the driver never showed up. Skipped the stop. I called and had reassurance this would be top priority today. Well it is 9pm and drivers are done for the day. It was not delivered. How about the drives quit giving 5 stars.. we get it, your managers let you slack off if you post 5 stars.

I have seriously never written a negative review (who has the time?) but hopefully this will inspire DHL to review their current methods. I have been on the phone with 3 different reps and a delivery driver trying to figure out when to arrange a delivery time as a live in an apartment complex and they won’t leave it at the door without a signature. Every person I’ve talked to has told me different information and ensured it would be re-delivered the next day or to the leasing office, Etc.! I waited all day to answer the door for the package, 8pm rolls around and I decide to call DHL AGAIN. turns out that it’s not even out for delivery today, even though online tracking and previous rep ensured it would be!!! I was also told the delivery driver would call me when he was here, latest rep informs me they don’t ever call customers?!,! I’m so beyond annoyed. Such a shame because I won’t order from this vendor again if I have to deal with DHL and their employees not having a clue what they are talking about.

One (or more) of the drivers at this location simply chose to not deliver our package. I received a text every morning notifying me that the status had been set to "on hold." I called every day this week (4+ times) and confirmed that the address was correct, there was nothing preventing access to our street, etc. Finally gave up and drove to their office near the airport on my lunch break. The woman there was kind and handed me my parcel, but when I offered to explain the backstory (hoping she'd want to use this experience to improve their local service), she brushed me off and said corporate doesn't always communicate very well. I wouldn't have opted for DHL, but the shipper chose this service, so I was stuck having to work with DHL this time. Won't make that mistake again. Facility, though tiny and not really designed for customers, was mostly clean and parking was easy.

Don't ever use DHL, DHL is the worst and unreliable company. they were supposed to deliver a very important package to me, not only they lost or gave to someone else, they claim that I received it and they forged the signature!! if I can give them negative stars, I would. they don't wanna even own responsibility for what they did, they asked me to call the shipper and ask him to file a claim. a legal action will be taken for the forgery.

I don't even want to give them one star. But what to do. These people who work in DHL don't even know what customer service ilos. I had a package coming from back home. It was really important. I asked them if we can pick it up from their facility , the lady on call arranged it . I was waiting for their call ,when they didn't call I called and I have been told that package was forwarded to another company for delivery. I checked with that company no one was able to help at all. They kept telling me all day that package will be delivered. But at the end of the day they told me that they got the package back to facility. They got it back like they didn't want to deliver. They made me feel so hopeless. I don't understand if they scheduled a pickup why they would do that. Its simply a case of harassing customers.

My car was parked in my garage so the dhl delivery man didn’t take the time of day to check if I was home. They also don’t deliver or allow you to pick up on weekends I have to wait until Monday receive my package and I doubt I’ll even get it on Monday because I bet there will be another problem.

Was suppose to get my package yesterday 3/22 and arrived after the business was closed and now currently waiting 3/23 after calling to let them know that I need My package here between 9am-2pm before my business close. It is now 1:55pm and still has not been delivered this place sucks never will I ever let this business handle my shipments again!

Horrible service! Driver delivered a package correctly, then came back 45 mins later and wanted package back saying it was wrong delivery (when it was not at all). Driver did not understand receipts or anything, and refused to give number to his manager, but instead threatened to all police;-) I suspect he had screwed up some other delivery and got confused. UPS and FedEx rarely have any issues with, so stick to those I suggest. DHL must not train their drivers in customer service at all and very poor customer service if you try to call. Horrible service and a very poor company based on this experience. Best to avoid DHL in future.

My address, which can be found by FedEx and UPS, is apparently "invalid". I don't think DHL delivers very far from the airport. I had to drive an hour and a half to get a package. Very dissatisfied.
