We have recently used DMS Moving in Canton MI to move from Michigan to Dallas, TX. In the process of moving our stuff out of our house, they have damaged one of the bedroom doors. The whole process of trying to get them to take responsibility for this damage and take care has been nothing but extremely ridiculous. Their claims handling was the most pathetic I have ever seen. Right after I filled the claim form and submitted, they send an email that they are denying it because the damage was already there. The moving crew themselves acknowledged the damage and wanted to settle it quickly by throwing $100.00. We wanted them to cover not just the cost of door but to install it. This is not yet resolved and I am extremely disappointed and anyone thinking of using them STAY AWAY!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND them to any one.

First, I did not actually book a move with DMS - I had an incredible quick turnaround time due to a last minute cancel from a different company (David and Goliath). I want to comment on the incredible customer service from Keith. As soon as he realized he was not able to accommodate me, through no fault of his own, he continued to stay on the phone with me to learn about what I needed. He gave me an outstanding list of reliable companies that might be able to help with my predicament - with phone numbers and specific associates to ask for. He was kind, sincere, and so helpful. He truly put a smile on my face after a horribly stressful day. Thank you Keith, your customer service was above and beyond.

If you are reading this while in search of a moving company, do yourself a favor and find another moving company. My experience has been disappointing with continued issues and lack of any customer service as my house sits empty due to lack of delivery

I hired DMS a couple years ago, to move our office, twice, and loved them both times! A friend, on my recommendation, used them to move into her new home, and she absolutely loved them too! I just hired them to move out of my home, and, once again, they were absolutely fantastic, and I still love them! Each time I had different crews, this time it was Larry, Patrick & Aaron, but all the guys I've worked with are really good at their jobs, careful, yet efficient, professional, quick, polite, and fun to work with, and no damage to anything they moved or any walls! It's been great when friends have helped me move, but these guys are quicker, and they really know how to get large things (treadmill, couch, etc.) out of, & into, small spaces! I will hire this company the next time I move, and highly recommend them to anyone else!!!
