I have used All Around Moving and Storage 4 times in the last 3 years. Twice to move my elderly father and twice to move items for myself. Each and every move was done with extreme care and each crew member displayed complete professionalism. Obviously the rates are great as I did Google shop and compared to others found online. The office staff are also very easy to communicate with.

All Around Moving is fantastic! I recently hired them to move all our furniture into a storage unit. They did such an amazing job, and were so cost effective, I hired them for 2 more subsequent moves the following month. Clare in the office is wonderful to work with and always has a cheerful voice to help you! All our movers were great, too. Chris and Renaldo in particular were absolutely the best. Everyone took care of my possessions, and packed everything expertly into storage. Beyond that, my first move was very stressful and Chris and Renaldo each took time to offer kind words to me. When they both arrived for my second and third moves, I was completely relaxed because I knew what great guys they are. Also, I was weary of the hourly pay rate because it seems like there's no incentive to move quickly... This was NOT the case with this company! Everyone was incredibly efficient, as well as extremely careful with my stuff. I hope I never move again but if/when we do, I am absolutely calling All Around Moving again!

We had a terrific moving experience on October 15, 2016 with All Around Moving. Jim Simpson helped us plan our move by assessing our needs, and he knew his job well. Our moving crew, consisting of Craig, Jim and Jeremy, did a five-star job of taking our belongings from one house to the other. We've never seen three men working so hard! They were courteous at all times, they did the job in an efficient and timely manner, and they were obviously well-trained to please their customers. Everyone we worked with at the All Around Moving was friendly, professional, and eager to make the move satisfactory for us. (They did indeed!) I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing these services, and I'd hire them again. This moving company is not professional at all. They gave me a quote and told me that it wouldn't be more than $475. to move from one city to another just 8 miles away. I thought it would be a great deal. NOT.... I ended paying $589. When they loaded my belongings I specifically told them to get everything out of the closets and even showed them when they were in the master bedroom. I need to explain that I'm disabled and unable to drive. I had my pastor take me to my new home and was unable to be there for the finishing of the loading. 1st, they didn't get all my belongings. They completely ignored me about the closets and didn't load any of it. I'm out over $2,000. Second, one of the movers supposedly stepped in dog poo and needed to change his clothes. Well, they were over an hour late getting to my new place. They charged me for the time it took to go to his apartment and change his clothes. I made a claim with the company and I was told that: "I never told them to get the belongings in the closet." So, they didn't believe anything I said and believed their movers. They refused to reimburse me for my items. I attempted to contact the manager numerous times to no avail. This is the worse moving company I have ever used;

Awesome move for my 95 yr old mom, crew was so respectful of her furniture and made sure everything was well protected. Everything was moved without damage, and the guys worked quickly so there was no "extra" time to be paid for - excellent attitude and service. I will use them again!

I was moving from my home into a storage unit and then from there to my new home. I was given fair pricing but lied to a few times. First, the crew that moved me from my house into the storage unit did a good job. I was told I could request them for the second move. I was told that at least 3 times,even up until the day before the second move. They already knew where my things were and packed them in so it would have been quicker for them to move it to the new house. they sent me a different crew on moving day. They took, of course, longer. They are paid hourly. The movers that took my things from the unit to the new house bumped walls and doors. They even damaged the trim around one of the guest bedrooms. When I asked them each, individually, who did it, they all lied and said it was already there. IT WAS A NEW HOUSE AND NEVER BEEN LIVED IN. Everything was in perfect condition. They also lost the legs off of my sofa chair. After several phone calls and emails (about 8 calls and 6 emails) I still don't have my legs. The office blames the movers, the movers blame the other movers, the other movers blame someone else. The claims division apparently took over a month to send the guy that handles these things my information. Marty, the guy who fixes this stuff, said they didn't send him my info. until about 6 weeks after the move. The claims lady (Sheryl) at the office said she thought the other people were taking care of it. Either way, like so many companies who forgot how to take care of the little guys, they forgot about me. It's been almost 8 weeks since the move and they're "still working on it". Don't use unless you don't mind your stuff getting broken, dented and/or lost.

If you are looking for a great moving company, this is the one! Jim Simpson the owner came out to provide an accurate estimate, walked thru the house, asked me about what i would like done and gave me a quote. They showed up the day of the move on time, and were very polite, and respectful. They were careful with my property, and took many steps to prevent damage (Wrapping, drop cloths, and even taping the stairs. They asked questions when they weren't sure, and all four of them had a GREAT personality! They worked very hard, and had a quick pace which keeps the cost done! If you are looking for movers that are respectful, careful, efficient, and actually have fun doing their job this is the company for you!

Made a reservation two months in advance and specifically asked to have one of the movers that we have worked with in the past. They informed me that he wasn't available on that day so we moved our date ensuring us that we would have him. This guy had moved us several times and had done a good job. We specifically wanted him. The day of the move three different guys showed up. I called the dispatcher and they said he wasn't available and that he was scheduled for another move. I explained to him what had happened and that we specifically asked for him and was told that he would be available. The dispatcher pretty much told me to shove it, it was what it was and if I didn't like it I could cancel. I explained to him that customer service is of utmost importance...they could have called and given me the option to find someone else.

Using a professional company for the first time after living in the same house for 30 years was a little perplexing. We contracted with this company primarily because of excellent reviews on the internet and was told by the owner that they were not the cheapest nor the most expensive movers and that there we no hidden extra charges and we found that to be true. The three men, Brandon, Kevin and Mike showed up on site when promised and worked non stop for 7 hours to get our four bedroom home moved from Livonia to Garden City. They were totally professional, freindly and extremely well mannered. It was a total pleasure dealing with them and a person could not go wrong using them for your move.

Theses guys were awesome! Well worth every penny. They arrived on time, all my stuff was moved carefully and nothing was broken. They met me at the new house and the previous owners had left a bunch of furniture on the front porch. The movers moved all that for me and then moved all my stuff in. They put everything where you want it and set up the beds. They were friendly and professional and got the whole job done in 3 hours! (That includes a 35 minute drive). Just a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend!

I can't say enough about this company and its staff. We worked with Jim (initially), Liz, Jayden, Craig, Sam and Chris. This entire team was excellent regarding communication, flexible, efficient, friendly, helpful, kind and just made our moves (to storage, then to our new location) the best they could possibly be. We had to change the date of the move, unfortunately, a week before our move was to take place. While this is an awful request to have to make, I was assured that this was not a problem. If you want to make your move as pain free as possible, this is the company to assist you.

The 3 gentlemen that came out to help me were awesome! Initially I wasn't going to have any boxes to move, as I was moving my stuff over lil by lil, but then my last week of packing, everything went crazy. I ended up with almost 30 additional boxes for these guys to move. And they did it with no complaints. All of my furniture was up 3 flights of stair, and these guys handled the process for loading everything with ease. The rates were extremely fair too. Other places wanted to charge me almost double of their rates, or charge extra per mile moved! They had 1 flat hourly rate while I purchased their services. And absolutely nothing was broke in this move! :-) I highly recommend them for any residential moving. Thanks guys!

All around moving did a very nice and professional job with our February 2016 move. They were on time both for packing and the move. The packing was quick and sturdy. On moving day they were so efficient that we barely could stay ahead of them as we scrambled to do the last minute items that we needed done. In the process of the move a power unit to an elliptical was damaged. All Around stepped right up to help as eventually at their expense they paid Nautilus to come out to our new home to repair the damage. Finally they came in right on budget. This was a 5 star performance. I would not hesitate to use them again.

In my opinion, this company was outstanding in managing our move. When they first gave us a quote, it included them packing up all our belongings. As time progressed, we were able to pack up and move some of our belongings ourselves, and I let the company know how we were progressing. They stayed in touch and were willing to accommodate us as we reduced their load and our price. We still left the hanging clothes and lamps, for them to pack, as well as all the furniture. They came in the day before the planned move to do their packing, which they did very efficiently, carefully packing everything and labelling the boxes,. The next day they packed up their trucks and unpacked us at our new home, 50 miles away, despite the fact that the weather got worse and worse as the day progressed. At 7:30 pm, they informed me that they thought it was prudent not to try to move our piano into the house in the dark, up icy steps, and of course I agreed. They returned two days later and safely unloaded and set up our piano, without a scratch on it. It still sounds great even though I haven't had it tuned in the new house. The movers were very nice guys. Chris, the team leader, Cheese, Ray, Nick and the other fellows were considerate and acted professionally. I enjoyed seeing them do their job competently and I would recommend this company without reservation.

If we were able to give a 6 star rating here, we would! Our move went super smoothly today. They were on time, and the cost were as estimated moving from Madison Heights to Romeo, Mi. I really can't say enough to compliment our crew of Mark and Aaron for being such top-notch professionals! They were polite, hard-working and obviously dedicated to their superior customer service. They also were cooperative and followed all/any request that we had. I believe that the employees are the face of any company and I'll say that AAMS should be extremely proud of this particular crew. I will voluntarily advertise for you as a satisfied customer, and most certainly will be calling again the next time I need a mover. I WOULD ADVISE THE PUBLIC TO NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE ANYTHING. MY DAUGHTER-IN-LAW 'S GRANDMOTHER IS MOVING FROM DETROIT, MICH. TO FLORIDA NEXT WEEK. I ADVISED HER TO NEVER PERMIT ALL AROUND MOVING FROM NATIONAL VAN LINES TO MOVE HER. THEY QUOTED ME ONE PRICE, WHEN THEY ARRIVED AT THE WEIGHT STATION THE PRICE WAS RAISED TO A MUCH HIGHER PRICE. My moving crew, Gary, Jeremy and TJ were fantastic! They showed right on time, was professional and caring with my precious items, and was super fast as we had to make 2 stops! I moved before and was using All Around Moving for the first time in this move from one apartment to another. Two guys came in, Craig and Jeremy. They introduced themselves right away and from the very beginning to the very end they were simply excellent. Every single possession in stellar condition, positive, punctual, and efficient. It was raining all day, so they had all the right supplies to make sure that the space was super clean and unaffected. They had everything needed for heavier furniture and they made sure all pieces were installed and positioned in exact place that I planned to. Definitely recommend and will use them again - Great Job!
