I've used Oscar's Moving Company in the past, and they did not disappoint me this time either. They were excellent 2 years ago and they were excellent this time too. They were right on time, protected everything, and moved in an efficient manner. They guys are extremely polite and made an otherwise- stressful- day fun. I hope I don't need to move again anytime soon, but if I do, I know I will be contacting Oscar's again.

I cannot say enough positive things about Oscar's Moving company. Let me start by saying I have moved a lot. More so than I would like to admit, and I've used other companies like Gentle Giant and others, so I have a lot of experiences to compare. Oscars is the BEST! Tony was so helpful and accomodating on the front end process of quoting and scheduling. He went above and beyond to accomodate a very tight closing schedule. Jose and the moving team were also great. Fast, efficient and extremely careful. I had two moves over two days (closed on the sale of my house and stored my furnishings in the truck overnight and then the same crew moved me into my new place the next day) and both days went without a hitch. They showed up on time, called to give me an ETA when they would arrive, and unloaded and moved me in with a few hours. I would highly recommend Oscar's!!

Fantastic experience working with Oscars. With the inventory we provided, the price estimate given to us ahead of time was very accurate. The movers arrived on time (on the early side of the window), were friendly, and packed us into the truck carefully and efficiently. At a cost significantly lower than quoted by other movers, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and use them again in the future! UPDATE: Used them again for a follow-up move and had equally great service - Miguel, Leo, & Louis were on the ball and made the process as smooth as possible. Great job!

We had a VERY challenging move, going from a third floor condo in an old row house with a narrow winding staircase to a fourth floor walk up with a stop at our storage unit in between. The team from Oscar's was amazing and the lead Marcos was a dream. They were super fast and efficient, but were still very careful and all of our items showed up free of damage. We were really well packed when they arrived saving lots of time on the move but the team definitely tried hard to keep us on time and budget which is really appreciated when you're looking at a 6+ hour move with 4 guys. Would definitely use them again.

We scheduled Oscar's Moving Company for our move last week (May 2019) and could not be more pleased! Jose and his crew were prompt, professional, and took excellent care of our belongings. I was so amazed with how quickly they executed our complicated move with two different pickup locations over an hour away in two different states. They wrapped up all of our furniture in cardboard, moving blankets, and tape then expertly packed the truck like a tetris game. They asked me where I wanted each box to go before putting it down and even offered to assemble the bed frames. They asked where I wanted the heavy furniture items once they were in their appropriate rooms. I offered his team coffee - which they chugged down quickly as possible and got right back to work. These guys are seriously hard workers. The price was excellent and I will be hiring them again if we ever move. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Oscars!

While the movers were polite minus one mover who was quite rude and angry, also due to a lot of miscommunication between the movers and the person that we originally contacted to set up the move, they were given the wrong location, didn't have our contact information, were given a different timeframe than the one we were given, and when they finally managed to get to the correct address due to the one they went to being nearby, they didn't have the correct list of what they were supposed to take and tried to charge us for quite a few things we were not supposed to be being charged for. We ended up canceling due to how grossly different the information given to the movers was compared to what we discussed with the person we made the original plans with, but either way they said that we were being charged for 2 hours labor, an hour and a half of which they were not there for. The worst experience I have ever had with movers.

My wife and I were thrilled with the prompt and friendly service provided by Oscar's during our recent move. We moved form one large house (3000sq feet) to an even larger house. They arrived on time. They worked super hard, so glad I did not have to work as it was about 90 degrees! I was impressed with how they wrapped all of our expensive furniture up in padded blankets. They had to wrap a lot of china and glassware too. I don't know how but everything arrived in super condition! In a nutshell, I would recommend Oscar's Moving Company 100% - made my life a lot easier!

The movers did a great job packing my furniture and moving it to my ne house. We had to store the furniture in three rooms while construction on my house was completed. Today two men returned for several hours and moved the furniture and boxes into position. They did a great job. I highly recommend Oscar's Moving Company.

We hired Oscar's Moving Company on Dec. 28, 2014 to move us from Grafton, MA to Cambridge, MA. We decided to use Oscar's because it offered best price and had above-average reviews on the web. It turns out that our experience with Oscar's really confirms its reputation as one of the best in the field. Kenneth and Hose, two movers we had, are very professional. They arrived at our house on the schedule we asked and got to work right away. They were very fast and took every caution possible to make sure our furniture are properly wrapped and protected. We were very happy that they completed the moving in five hours, including one hour travel time. This is faster than what we expected. And the most important thing is that there are no missing pieces and there is no damage. We were very impressed by the quality of work Kenneth and Hose had done. We definitely recommend Oscar's Moving Company.

Held us hostages on busy summer moving day to sign a document that waive any reponsibility, which none of the moving companies that I ever worked with has done. Also the guys who came over smelled weird too. NEVER AGAIN>

Great service. Move went smoothly and without a hitch. Movers were friendly and respectful and work quickly. Price was very competitive and quote was good but about $150 off final price. I was confused about driving charges; I assumed the 1.25 hours included driving to NH and back so was concerned when I was also charged for that time as "work" time. But got resolved when I understood that the 1.25 hours did not include drive to NH (although 1.25 hours did feel excessive for drive from Cambridge to Somerville). So I'd check that to make sure but honestly I'd use them again in a heartbeat! Recommended them to friends who were equally satisfied. Moving sucks but using a good professional mover does make the whole thing easier. Recommend these guys highly.

We recently moved from a 1,600 sq ft townhouse in Boston out to the burbs and needed movers. We contacted numerous companies and had three (local-ish) companies come to our townhouse to give us estimates. We avoided some of the bigger name moving companies because of mixed reviews and cost. The estimates from the three companies that we had at our house were relatively comparable. We ended up going with Oscars because our former neighbor used them a few years ago and had a very good experience with them. We booked them approximately one month in advance of our move and we decided to insure most of our furniture, which meant that they wrapped our wood furniture, mirrors and valuables in blankets and padding. We also paid to have them pack up our kitchen because kitchen items (glassware and dishes) are the most difficult to pack and because we wanted use of our kitchen up until the morning of our move. They had four strong men arrive on time the morning of our move. They all worked tirelessly for ten hours and were extremely polite and professional throughout!! Our belongings were treated well and moved without incident. I was so happy that absolutely nothing was damaged or broken in the move. There were no scuff marks, dings or scratches left on the walls or our hardwood floors. We were really happy with Oscars moving company and would definitely recommend them.

Price was reasonable, and they offer coupons. Incredibly quick, they did a 1200 square foot condo with 2 storage areas in about 4 hours. Unloading was even quicker. Coffee table had a small puncture in the board, but otherwise everything went smoothly. Also, we were missing a lamp shade, but I emailed them 2 months later and they still had it. These things can't be perfect, but I think they did a good job.

This moving company is the best! I've used them twice and both times the movers were very pleasant, efficient and accommodating. They took great care in wrapping a delicate curio cabinet that has a lot of glass with an abundance of bubble wrap, blanket and tape. They did not skimp on whatever it took to take care of our belongings. I was surprised that when given such a low quoted price, I thought that the quality must not be up to par, but that was not the case at all. I've used other movers in the past that charged a lot more and they still ended up damaging my good furniture. I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend you use Oscars if you need a mover.
