Glenn and Vinny set up my move with a crew of the most easy going helpful and hardworking guys I've ever met. The crew expertly moved me from my apartment in Hanover to a storage unit in Hanover and then from the storage unit to my new home down in Plymouth several months later. They took wonderful care of packing all my belongings safely and then unpacking everything again for me. They patiently relocated all my furniture even when I changed my mind as to where items needed to go. I would never use another moving company. This team clearly loves what they do as evidenced by their efficiency and dedication to every detail. I would recommend Expert Moving to all my family and friends. I know exactly who I will call when I make my next move. Thank you guys for taking the stress away from a difficult time for me.

Recently I needed to move some furniture across town and was not able to get a moving company on short notice, in fact when I said that the move was in Dorchester one mover told me they would not come to Dorchester. I came across Expert moving in Norwell, and I spoke with the owner Glenn who was extremely polite and helpful. I was told that they were heavily booked but they could squeeze me in on Sunday. I didn't think movers worked on Sunday but they did, and they were right on time as well which is important to me. Matt and Chris showed up on time and was able to move everything with care as well as the furniture from a garage in one location to my basement in another, they also moved a 125 gallon fish tank and stand. I don't think I could get a better set of guys and moving company than this one, NOT a single scratch on anything especially a glass fish tank that weighs a good 250-300 pounds. I will use this company again as well as referring them because they were so professional, friendly, careful and on time. Thank You, Glenn, Chris and Matt you guys did a GREAT job for me. J. King

If there was a Quality choice of "Do Not Use" I would have clicked it. Used to be called Glenn's Moving and Storage. Just check on that name in the BBB and it'll confirm the horror story these clowns are. Had the unfortunate experience of Glenn/Expert moving me from just one town to another back in 2007. When they got the truck to our new house, they demanded to be paid in full or they wouldn't complete the move. Then took off on use leaving the refrigerator in the garage and taking my entire toolset, which was still on the truck. We had damaged and scratched items and Glenn was very unhelpful in resolving the matter. We'll never use again and encourage those looking to move to pass on these guys.

From the start, Glen was pleasant, professional, and helpful. As promised on the day of the move, Three men and a large truck arrived on time and ready to go. Anthony, DJ and David worked hard and non-stop all day. They were pleasant with great attitudes. They emptied a large house and made several stops for me. Also, after the move, I was unable to locate a few important items: Glen and his guys went out of their way to locate these items. Great job from start to finish. Had a move done by these guys in September. Read all of the reviews below and see that I wasn't alone. Their lead guy was nodding off on the job. It looked like excessive drug use but as we all know I'll throw the word alleged in here to be safe. Move took much longer than expected. Furniture damaged I called about the guy falling asleep while standing up and they quickly got hostile. This was the guy that drove the other 2 workers around mind you and they were great. Held my stuff hostage blah blah blah use anyone else

We used this company twice in 2 years for complete local moves within the same town. First move was fine. The second move, exactly 1/4 mile, a truck full of furniture and 20-30 cartons of mostly china, crystal and fragile items, all marked as such, and unfortunately packed by us. They have you sign the disclaimer on the paperwork as they tell you they never break anything. I guess we must have been the first! 6 Limoges Opaline black tulip charger plates and an antique cut glass bowl with a hammered coin silver handle (not replaceable), all smashed to pieces. Everything else from the move completely fine. It is obvious, someone dropped this box. However, they stick by the disclaimer on the paperwork. If we had them pack everything in order to insure coverage; it would have certainly increased the cost of the move by at least 2 days, 3 people or about $2,500.00. Be aware!

Just what we expected. Awesome awesome service from start to finish. The owner came out to talk about our move and needs. Offered boxes, asked about budget. Was spot on with timing of the whole move time. When we had delays on the dates they accommodated us without hesitation. Very nice guys that came to move us. They had 2 trucks so the move went that much faster. We had movers Dan, Tom, Dave, Anthony. They were professional. Polite and very courteous. My husband has a basement full of tools that they paid special attention to everything so that nothing broke. They were fast without being careless and since it’s our second time using them I can fully back the claim these guys are the best! We have used many other movers and ever since we found these guys we will never use anyone else. Thank you again guys!!!

I have used Expert Moving and Storage every time I have needed a moving company (4 times) and I would not go anywhere else. I used them to move from Somerville to Weymouth, from Weymouth to Rockland, and from Rockland to Dorchester. I recently called them up because I bought new furniture and couldn't get it to fit up the stairs to the second floor.. . they came within 15 minutes and they were done in less than a half hour! If it seems like something is impossible to fit (as I did with both my couches) they'll find a way. The guys that helped me have always been super professional and courteous.. They always show up on time and move my entire apartment quicker than I thought possible. I have moved into apartments on small one way streets/busy streets in Boston and they never have had an issue. They always go the extra mile to make sure my furniture is taken care of /wrapped and safe during the move. They are noticeably careful with everything so I wasn't worried about anything getting damaged. I would and have recommended this company to my friends and family !

Had a horrible experience with these guys. I spoke to Glenn to book the move and he initially sounded all nice and reassured me that they are professionals that they know what they were doing....Lies Lies Lies!!! On the day of the move, the price he gave me was different from what his guys told me. There was also some miscommunication regarding start time and I called Glenn regarding this and he got all upset and told me to go find another mover that they can't do the job. I'm VERY dissapointed!

These guys were fast an efficient movers. They were actually early for the pick up but I didn't mind because I was ready to go. I called last minute on a September move for my buddy and they found space to fit us in. I was very appreciative of that and it really bailed me out. Thank you Expert Moving & Storage for saving the day! My roommate and I called Expert Moving as an emergency after realizing the couch we just purchased would not fit up the stairs of our triple decker in Dorchester. The moving crew showed up at our place within a half hour and easily lifted the couch up over the balcony and into our living room within minutes! I was thoroughly impressed and very appreciative of how responsive and professional our service was. I will definitely use this company again when needed and I recommend Expert Moving & Storage to anyone in need of a great moving service!

Do not use these creeps!!! They lied! overcharged me! and demanded Cash on the spot! which was thousands of dollars before they finished and held my furniture ransom, threatening to stop and leave if I didn't pay, exactly what a previous review said. Glenn is a creep! Some of the mover guys were nice and worked hard, but Pete, the guy in charge of my move was demanding and threatening. Their price went up by the minute! I am reporting them to the Attorney General's office. Using them was the worst decision I have made in a long time!Go to anyone else but these guys. They are complete rip offs! I would love to put them out of business. I have NEVER had an experience like this in my life!!!

I highly recommend Expert Moving Company. When I called to inquire, a very kind man answered: Glenn the owner. He met me and we reviewed the job which entailed moving heavy, yet intricate, pieces. They did a professional and amazing job. They came when they said they would. They had the "we can do it" positive attitude. Anthony was one of the employees who was very helpful and wonderful to work with. I have owned my own business for 40 years and I know what it entails...Expert Moving certainly has what it takes...and more! Excellent experience.

This is the first review for any service that I have written. I have moved numerous times with professional movers...this was not at all the experience that the owner committed to and certainly did not live up to their name. At my insistence, the manager came to our home and gave me an estimate of a 1 day move. The move took twice as long as Vinny said it would, thus cost me twice as much (and we did not even move everything that was supposed to be move given how long we were at it) I called Vinny, the manager, on Monday and asked that he have the owner call me. I called a second time as well. I called a third time….. I am not sure if he ever passed along the messages, but I never received a call. I felt bad for the team (great guys) that was on site that day as they were clearly not expecting to work a 12 plus hour day. With so many options available for professional movers, I would suggest that you choose another company.

This company moved my father in law a few months ago it was a stressful time Glenn worked hard to make it very easy most of the guys were great the only problem is two of the guys seemed to be drunk and smell like alcohol which was a concern because one of them was the driver the third guy worked very hard I would recommend them but would ask for a different guy in charge .Thank you Glenn for helping and calming us down
