I had a horrible experience with AVIV MOVERS, I REGRET EVER HIRING THEM AND I SHOULDNT HAVE PAID THEM EVEN ONE DOLLAR! THEY DESTROYED MY KING SIZED BED, and didn’t deliver my things for two days, the original quite starts low then they charge you more., here is my story: When the truck showed up, it already had someone else’s furniture inside. They could not fit all my things in the truck because of this, the man in charge asked me which of my belongings were most important to me . I said I wanted everything and he said “ well that’s not happening” He and his workers proceeded to pack my car and my sons car with our belongings. Things were getting broken. When they finally showed up at my new address an hours late, they just threw things everywhere, my king sized bed is destroyed , it’s permanently folded in half, They showed up at 1am , new neighbors called police and they had to leave they said they would be back at 7am next morning, they didn’t show up until two days later. I called crying and they said they had other jobs and there was nothing they could do, I just had to wait. My kids had no clothes beds or things, I missed a job interview because it was the day after moving and I had no clothes. Then they finally showed up the next NIGHT at 11pm. And told me the original quote if 600 dollars was too low for this job and they wanted 1800.00 dollars,if I didn’t pay they were keeping my stuff, I only paid the original price. They had already put some of my stuff in the parking lot , they tried to take it back, I said I would call the police , so they left that stuff but kept my bureau and my recliner and some other things. They drove away with my stuff and I had to carry what was left in by myself. I regret paying them one dollar they have damaged most of my stuff, and my kids are traumatized by this move, they are still looking for their things. The boxes were marked and the m Vets just threw them all in the first room they could find.I wish J could put the pictures on this site. Now they haunt me everyday calling me texting me emailing me for the bogus price of 1800.00 It’s been a nightmare Can’t even sleep on my bed and can’t afford a new one and can’t even afford to hire someone to help me get it out of here. Every night when I’m sleeping on my couch, I REGRET EVER CALLING AVIV MOVERS !!!

Update Jan 13: Interestingly my husband and I get a "wake up" call this morning from these guys.. telling us they will close our case because of my recent review on the hotel we are staying at in NYC.. let me just address this here because the guy was so rude over the phone he was literally yelling and screaming at us and didn't wanna hear us out and I had to hang up on him. Let me tell you something Abraham or who whoever you were.. I don't care if you contacted all the business I wrote my real experience with. You weren't here when we checked in into this hotel and u don't know what happened.. just imagine after a long drive and getting to the hotel at 1am being pregnant and dead tired all you want is to be checked in and relax in your room.. I was frustrated that it took very long to get us checked in mind you here was no one before us and only when I asked to speak with the manager we were finally checked in. Anywho that's what happened!!! As for aviv movers now I'm very shocked from this phone call we got and how rude the guy was literally the worst company ever.. is this how you treat your customers? I'll make sure none of my fam/friends use them if they needed a move The guy goes ( we moved 165 items for you and you give us one star because of a mattress really) wow really dude so it's by item number now??? YES I WILL GIVE U ONE STAR AND ZERO STAR IF I COULD BECAUSE YOU RUINED MY BRAND NEW $3000 mattress and SOFA!!!!!!! I understand the guy was frustrated because he wanted us to remove this review because they said they will pay for our mattress to be cleaned But hellooo our stuff is still in storage and I dunno what more damages we could find . We are not moving to our house till end of Jan or mid feb so I said I will adjust my comment then when you fix my problem and when I actually see all my stuff but nope they didn't like that I'm just speechless On top of that he's saying things like "shame on you you should be shameful"" oh I'm sorry??? I should be shameful for writing my REAL experiences here??? YOU SHOULD BE SHAMEFUL IN THE FIRST PLACE from this phone call and from the way our stuff was treated!!! And then he goes you done care about us?? Why should I??? When you didn't care for our stuff in the first place.. or wait I did care and I was really going to adjust this review when you fix our issue but now I don't care and don't want anything from you we can get our mattress cleaned ourselves! Oh and we got threatened to btw.. he was like I called all the businesses and we are going to write a very bad review on you.. go ahead be my guest :) I have in pictures what you have done to my stuff and I only wrote what really happened .. DO NOT TRUST THEST GUYS!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! We were moving from Boston to Virginia... the guys who came and packaged our furniture and took our boxes were professional, did their job well... I bought plastic covers for everything and they told me not to worry they will packages everything (mattress, sofa, pillows) very well which they did. But little did we know upon arrival to the storage unit in Virginia, they took all covers out EVEN THHE BLANKET COVERS THAT WE PAYED FOR ON A CHEST DRESSER!! Very UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE.. VERY UNSATISFIED.. I DONT EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY ! Spoke with the supervisor about this he said he will look into it Monday .. will give an update

Buyer Beware, questionable reviews. I am searching for movers and have noticed a lot of fluffy reviews. I clicked on some of the names that have reviewd Aviv (Mark, William, Sarah just to name a few), and I notice that many of them have posted multiple reviews... ALL FOR MOVING COMPANIES, WITHIN A FEW WEEKS OF EACH OTHER. clearly fake. for shame Aviv movers. You are gaming the system and should be ashamed of yourselves. I plan on going through other profiles and looking for similar trends. I was recently burned by a mortgage broker who used similar tricks. Google, please fix this.

Very diappointed. They charged a lot of extra fees. The agents are very irresponsible and bad at understanding. I double checked multiple times to arrage a 3 hour time window because the loading dock is open only from 12-5 on my move day. However they didnt take it seriously and still arrived the wrong time. When i called the company to complain they didnt care.
