The movers from Zip Moving (Stevan, Garcia, and Jose) were wonderful! They handled everything with care, picked up and dropped off my stuff on time, and packed things well. They also constantly made sure I was in the loop with when they were coming (pickup and drop off) before the move, their estimated arrival on day of (pickup and drop off), and when they were getting close. They also made sure to go over all the furniture packed and moved and counted and recounted on day of. They took the time to sit with me to go over all the paperwork and explain everything; they also made sure all my questions/concerns were answered. They kept me in the know of all aspects of the move (from costs to packing materials, etc.). Moreover, they cleaned up after pickup and drop off. They constantly asked if I needed help with putting together anything and/or unpacking. Last but not least, their interpersonal skills, customer interaction, and kind demeanors made the whole move fun, worthwhile, and stress free. I definitely recommend moving with Zip Moving! Edwin and Josue were AMAZING! They took excellent care of all my furniture, were very friendly, had great attitudes, were super polite, and were super timely. The quote Zip Moving gave me was very accurate and I actually paid closer to the lower price of the range given. Nothing was damaged at all. Everyone I worked with at Zip Moving was a pleasure to speak to and work with. I will surely be using them again in the future and recommending them! The only complaint I have is that I was not told I would be charged extra for anything that needed to be shrink-wrapped (which is highly recommended for the bigger pieces of furniture) however, maybe I just missed it in our initial conversation. I also opted in for a "mattress cover" for $25 but instead the mattress was just shrink-wrapped, so again, maybe I just misunderstood. However, neither of these things would deter me from using Zip Moving again. They were simply amazing!

I would definitely recommend Colonial Moving Company to anyone out there needing a mover. Colonial, specifically, Sedrick was in constant communication with me regarding time of packing, moving and meeting the guys at the end upon my receiving. The move was subbed out to a fabulous company, Zip Moving and Storage. Igor was in charge of the beginning process at my home in MD to watch over packers and checking off list. Milosh was amazing also at assisting with packing and organizing the goods on the truck. My special thanks go to Aleksandar Drondizie. He drove the truck from Atlanta, the pickup started in Maryland, and finished in Naples, FL. He was diligent, STRONG, took special care of my goods and handled this move with shear ease for me. He was assisted by David Heard who was exceptional as well. Thank you all for making this difficult task making this move go so well.

I was very skeptical at first as I had a bad experience with another moving company that charged me double, didn’t complete setting up the furniture and damaged the walls and doors in our house. But These guys were excellent. They arrived in a timely fashion and were very courteous! They were careful not to scratch or damage walls and doors as well as Furniture. Moving has gotta be one of the most stressful events in life, however, Zip Moving and Storage Co took 100% of that stress away from start to finish for my April 2018 move. Igor the mgr was my contact person and made sure that every step of the moving process went smoothly by regularly staying in contact with me prior to the move, during the move, and a follow-up call after the move just to see how things went and if I needed any further assistance. My three movers - Steven, Nester, and Jose were just as great. They never complained, had positive attitudes, and most of all, did not stop working until the job was complete. We had a great experience with Zip Moving and Storage. The price was much lower than the competitors and the movers were very courteous and professional. We chose partial packing and they did an excellent job. Our stuff was delivered the next day after pickup, which was very much appreciated as it made our cross-state move easier. I used them for a long distance move. Pickup was easy, fast, and the crew was extremely nice and personable. My window was from 10-2 and they arrived right at 10. I had a lot of questions and the lead guy was very easy to talk to and answered all my questions directly and honestly. Delivery was great also, but they got lost somehow. I think they put in the incorrect address. The lead guy in this crew was a bit rude upon arrival but eased up after a while. The entire process was pretty seamless. My moving coordinator was awesome. He followed up with me almost every day up until the move to verify inventory and just to keep me updated on every detail. I also appreciated the text message ETA updates and confirmations.

Zip Moving and Storage was very responsive from the first exchange. They have a website where you have a personal page, and you can list your inventory. Also, they are able to do a virtual tour of your house/apt to help you with your inventory list. It is important to be careful with the estimate, because it is based on weight, and most likely the price will be higher than what is stated. Overall the pickup went smoothly. They were able to get everything out in a timely matter, and packed our furniture, t.v., and artwork. These are extra charges and not part of the estimate. The delivery date was changed which created a little bit of a problem, but Zip Moving and Storage was very responsive with my issues, and we were able to resolve them, and come to an agreed solution. Moving is stressful, and there are always bumps in the road. Zip Moving and Storage strives to have satisfied customers, and is willing to work to help them out.

I was unhappy with Zip moving company. I feel like they inflate the price of the service. I moved locally-about 6 miles. I had a small amount of furniture: 1 sectional couch, 3 coffee tables, 1 chair, 1 twin,2 queen beds and 1 king bed. 2 dressers, 1 nightstand and 1 armoire. And about 25 boxes. It took them 9 hours! It cost me $2600! Which was$900 over the estimate! They insist that each furniture item be individually wrapped with a cloth followed by a “saran wrap” like material. Wrapping each mattress, chair, pillow etc took at least 2-3 hours alone.They then charged an additional $650 for providing packaging. Plus they took a lunch period. If I knew in advance of this additional material charge, and the mandatory Saran wrapping process that prolonged the move time I would never have hired them. I hired them because of the great reviews. However I was misled. The moving guys were friendly and professional-so no complaints on that level. So, I thought a more detailed description of their services was warranted. So if you have fancy or expensive items-then you may appreciate the extra wrapping,time, and cost. But if it’s a basic local move, I recommend you look elsewhere. July 2019

Zip Moving and Storage really exceeded our expectations! I don't usually take the time to write a review (unless it's a terrible experience ) but these guys are superb. We had a heavy hospital bed that needed disassembled and reassembled and I never thought it would be so easy. They came on time, completed the job quickly and all with a smile on their faces. The movers were polite and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I didn't have cash to tip them and felt bad, but these guys are the real deal. Easy to work with and completed the job on the agreed upon price. Perfect service from this Rockville area resident. With so many movers to choose from it was hard to make the decision- so, so glad I did.- I recommend them to all my friends.

Our family has relocated many times over the years. This was the best move, by far. Igor S. was absolutely outstanding in booking and coordinating the interstate move. He was always available to respond to questions before and throughout the moving process, and offered helpful suggestions, e.g. storage options. The packing & pick-up were expertly handled by Stevan, Olin and Will. They were on-time, courteous, hard-working and careful. Next day's delivery was equally positive, managed by Igor and Will. Storage items were delivered a few weeks later by Stevan, Juan and Byron - another excellent experience. I'm organizing another move soon and will definitely go with Zip.

I have moved 4 times in last 3 years, I used different movers every time, because the old movers just simply sucked, and I am not talking about just basic customer service- they are all nice to talk to, but no where near professionals. they broke our stuff and stole our tv (BIMS, Angel van Lines), knowing I didn't buy insurance. I was extra cautious with Zip and bought insurance, but frankly while it gave me piece of mind, it was a waste of money as ZIP did the job wonderfully, met 6 guys at pickup and delivery who were all professionals, talked to Igor in billing and man I am impressed, Zip is competitive in pricing and is the BEST moving service nationwide, I would suggest get on their schedule if you can, it is all worth the money. Small details are taken care of. At pickup there was no rain, but at delivery their was, what i saw was incredible, where they saw the weather forecast and already wrapped everything, so it doesn't affect while they are delivering! 1000% Top-Notch Service!

My moving hours were delayed almost 4hrs.The men on the truck were delayed by the previous client .I was very upset by this.Since I had 2 stops.I cannot blame the men on the truck they were apologetic and very professional. Their names were Edwin and Carlos.They were done at 930pm.They dealt with driving from Washington Dc and torrential rain in Frederick and Damascus. KUDOS TO THEM. My concern was with the coordinator he did not keep more informed about the delay. More communication is needed!!!

I totally understand getting paid for a service rendered but Igor should have been clear in explaining payment options and perhaps a bit more willing to work with us. This experience was a big disappointment. We did not feel like our need to receive our belongings was taken into consideration nor how stressful a 1,000 mile move is on a family. To me, that is just as important as ensuring furniture and household items are packed and unpacked into a truck. Update to Zip Moving and Storage's response: It is sad that the owner, in an attempt to make himself and his company look better felt the need to continue with half-truths and lies. We lived in a 4-bedroom townhome with no garage and provided this information to the Zip Reg when we scheduled the move. At no time did I nor my husband give differing information to any Zip employee. In addition, at no time were we given the option of a Premium, next day delivery service. We never stated we would not pay for the services rendered. The contracted movers started moving items into our home and were told by the Zip employee to stop. We never instructed anyone to start or stop moving items. We were disappointed Igor would not work with us. In fact, the Zip driver who brought our delivery told us that Igor had worked with other customers in the past on payment and didn't understand why he would not do so in this situation.

I don't think it's a stretch for me to say that I will never use another moving company. Zip has my business now and forever. It could not have been a better experience. From the time I requested a quote, to when the guys left, the whole process was terrific. Questions answered quickly, always clear about the process, and a same day move from PA to MD. The best part were the movers themselves: Edwin, Nikolai, and Carlos. They were so awesome. Patient, fun yet extremely professional, caring with my mom's items, and holy cow...they are so strong. Everyone knows that a move can be tedious and stressful. Also, locking down on a mover can be challenging on its own due to the huge number of options available. I stumbled upon Zip Moving and Storage based on their 5 star rating across Google and Yelp. I was skeptical at first since I thought a perfect rating for a moving company was too good to be true - however I went ahead with them and am so glad I did. Right from the process of getting the quote, to getting the booking confirmed and the actual pickup and delivery things could not have been more perfect. Novak and Igor did a great job in going through the inventory and keeping the estimate as realistic as possible. All the charges and clauses where explained right up front - no cost was hidden. The entire process was very transparent and there were multiple courtesy calls just to ensure everything was in order. The move was seamless – Danijel, Jamie and team were very professional. All appointments were honored, the items packed, stored and delivered with utmost care. Since I went for the full pack option I did not have to lift a finger. Overall extremely pleased with the experience. And, to top it all there was not even a dink in anything - every single piece was delivered intact and they delivered way ahead of the average time. Would be using them in all future moves. I definitely recommend them - you will not be disappointed!
