These guys have moved me a few times, and it's been nothing short of exceptional. They were on time, clean, & courteous. Best of all, NOTHING got broken. I'd highly recommend Moyers, and will be using them again. There estimate was a little higher than the other movers, but they ended up coming in under their estimate. I've heard nothing but horror stories about moving companies, but these guys are true professionals!

From the first phone call until the last box was removed, Moyers delivered. Literally. They had many phone calls to make sure everything was on schedule. This was a complicated move as it was moving my 89 year old mother from her home of 65 years to a different state. Let's just say for social media purposes, that she found it difficult to part with her treasures and therefore the move was much more challenging. Moyers treated her and her belongings with so much respect. She had a huge wall unit that they somehow managed to get into the apartment. They were kind and caring though out. I highly recommend.

Look no further, Moyer & Sons is THE moving company to book for your move. We did a short distance move from a townhome into a larger townhome. The Moyer & Son team (3 movers) showed up on time (early start to beat the heat for this July 1st love) and very professional. When they arrived we did a walk through of the space and they got straight to work. The care the team showed for our belongings and the home were impeccable. We were packed and out quick knowing that the bigger work was ahead. The movers took a quick break between moves and we even expected a well-deserved linger lunch break. This new home was 4 stories tall, all above ground. Not only that but the bulk of the storage was on the 4th floor so these movers had A LOT of stairs to tackle. Let me tell you, not one single complaint. The amount that they can carry and their lifting strategies show their expertise. Our furniture was moved in perfect condition. Moyer and Sons took precautions to preserve our home including laying down plastic over the floors. They were attentive and patient about where any non-labeled items should go. For such a large move our walls have minimal wear/damage. Leading up to this move was very stressful and I was feeling very anxious about the whole process. Moyer & Sons completely changed our moving experience and there are not enough words to say THANK YOU. I am stunned, eternally grateful, and will forever rave/recommend this moving company. From booking the move to the truck pulling away I have been thoroughly impressed and grateful. 10/10, A+++++ recommend Moyer & Sons!!!

I nearly had a head on collision this morning while I was driving in my own lane trying to get to work this morning. Truck #130 made a wide sweeping right turn into my lane, I was for forced to stop in my lane and the driver motioned for me to back up. I told him I had the right of way he was in my lane. He refused to move. He and his helper were laughing and flashing a symbol at me. I called the company and spoke to a John Moyer Jr. who was not very concerned. Did not appologize. The driving was unacceptable but the behavior of laughing and ridiculing me is appauling.

If you need to make a long distance/cross country move from the DC area, this is the company to use! Moving is not a high-tech enterprise - it is all about packing your goods properly, moving them safely across the country and getting them in your new home without any damage. This company excels at all three. We did not have a lot of big furniture but we did have a lot of items that needed to be packed, including glassware. We made the decision that packing all of this was not something we wanted to take on, but wanted to get someone who would do a good job without any problems. We planned for the move in late summer, and Moyer was not the least expensive, but it had the best reputation from all the people we talked to and the articles we read. We read a lot of reviews that contained horror stories about problem moves, and wanted to be sure we got the best company. The moving company rep came on time, and gave us a binding quote. We had a pack date of 10/17, move date of 10/18, and a delivery date of no later than 11/5. The longer date was fine with us, since we were already set up with basics in our new home (including a bed), so we did not need to worry about the end date. The packers came on time at around 9 am (three of them) and were absolutely awesome. Everything was packed and ready for pick-up by 4 pm. The next day the truck came and it was packed in just a few hours. Since we lived in an apartment complex, a standard moving van could not get into the lot, and the movers came in a smaller truck so our goods could be stored and transferred at its facility in Clarksburg. We drove to Scottsdale and arrived on 10/23; the van arrived on 11/5, the last day of the window. Our new home is on a cul-de-sac; a van could get in if cars are not parked on the street. The driver took the time and trouble to drive over in the tractor and scope out our location the day before. Since the movers were delivering on a Sunday, a lot of people were parked on the street. The van driver parked at the end of the street, and he and the two helpers moved everything on hand trucks from the van down the block to the house!! (Not a problem since Scottsdale in October is not very hot and NO rain). I am mentioning all of this because despite having a lot of glass packed, having everything moved from the apartment to the moving facility, then onto a moving van, and then again down the street to the new house, that the only damage was one cheap-o plastic wheel on a file cabinet, which was easily replaced by a better wheel at Home Depot! This move could not have gone better. My main takeaway is that packing is key - if that is done correctly, you really have little to worry about, and these movers had an excellent packing crew. The pickup crew was great - I could not believe how much stuff they could carry all at once! The driver and unloading crew were courteous and very professional - the van driver even put my bicycle back together! Again, this is a great moving company and we highly recommend them.

Very expensive for ~5mile local move and unprofessional attitude of the crew members. The driver and crew took all of their time. Clock was ticking and cost was rising... My sister and I had to carry some boxes to expedite the move. One crew member even lied down on the floor in my new condo for rest and the driver demanded to pick up his red bull... Is it a normal attitude??? I was very much offended by their attitude and I DO NOT recommend this company for your next move....

Jack, Nat, Kenny, and Rudy from Moyer's moved us - they did a great job packing everything securely and quickly, moving everything out of our 3BR (and garage-storage unit) on the 3rd floor across town, and unpacking in the same day into a 3-story townhouse.
