Extermely horrible experience.... the owner ( Mathew mckendre) is the worst person to deal with.... will change the quote and date last minute.... they are not reliable at all

Spent 23 years in the Navy and moved many times, about 19 household moves and this was the easiest one yet. They came in and did everything that I expected and more for a very reasonable price. I couldn't believe the price I was quoted, but decided to have them do it anyway. They came in slightly less than their quote. Truly AWESOME. They were ontime, dedicated and hardworking. If you need a mover, this is the place to go.

Watch your wallet, quote 2 trucks, $5,900, at the day of the move it becomes 3 trucks, another man, a new quote up $1,000 then at end of the move a bill for $9,200, stay away from these crook

So...never had movers before and thought that this would make moving much easier. WRONG! They didn't send enough movers, they arrived late, they were slow despite continued warnings that the building we were moving into would not allow moves after 5 p.m. They didn't arrive at our new building until 3:30. (arrived at 9:45 am); new building graciously extended move-in time until 7. they didn't finish until 9 p.m. We don't have a ton of stuff so that wasn't the problem. They just underestimated the number of staff that they needed. And speaking of estimates. Not once did they tell us that there would be additional charges. They tried to charge us for the additional hours. Where is the incentive in that for people to work more quickly and efficiently. Finally, one of the movers smelled of alcohol. Hated the entire experience. Would not recommend McKendree to anyone. AWFUL experience. Moving is stressful enough without movers making it worse.

McKendree has moved me several times and always been on time, on budget and very efficient and careful with my belongings. I highly recommend them.
