Totally disregarded the estimate information provided. Needed a truck to accommodate a 3-bedroom house move and they showed up with a "rented" U-Haul for a 1 or 2 bedroom house move. More focused on the 3-hour quote instead of making sure that all we required was moved. Took way too long to unload, which is usually faster than loading. Get the idea that this is standard practice to add billing time. Had the nerve to ask for an extra $100 for the added hour they were responsible for. Lousy, never again!!!!! Don't use them.

My sister is vision impaired and the damage her stuff, and didn't tell her thinking she wasnt gone to know. They damage my stuff breaking things and put some glue on it making it look terrible. Their price is one price when you start and you end up owning them more money by the time they finish. The owner was rude after the damages was done, he said he would fix it but never did. I wouldn't recommend this company to nobody. After the moved my sister stuff they said she owe them $600.00 and something dollars which was a ripe off. Never again. Dont use the company, because you will pay more at the end.

Would not recommend this moving firm. After a thoroughly estimate of time for the move in the apartment, the movers managed to exceed the time by HOURS and tried to demand extra money for these extra hours where the movers moved slowly. Look for a different moving firm if you want to have someone who works efficient rather then squeezing money out of you

First time user. They called to make sure I was ready for the move and after I said absolutely they arrived ten minutes early, reviewed the job and then started the timing (I had contracted for three hours). They moved quick when loading and unloading with no property damage to the house, apartment and items being moved. They were polite, professional and very respectful. They moved so fast that they even had time to put the bed frames together without any additional costs. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

I do not recommend this company. My first impression was extremely horrible. My parents were in a bind after our original movers canceled on us and we needed to be moved out that day. JJ professional movers said that they could do it but first my parents needed to place $650 in an account online before they would come out. How dare you exploit my parents situation. We found repudiated movers who have gone above and beyond and they are Emergency Movers in Catonsville, Md. So, save your money because JJ professional movers DO NOT deserve it. If I could give no stars, I would. Such a disappointment.

The contact didn't inform me of the number of men that were to move my 3 bedroom apartment. Only 1 other man arrived and the move with take-apart and re-asemble beds, sofa, attached marble top desk (charged separately, $100, because "it's heavy), took 8 hours. Another Budget moving truck arrived (@ 5:30 pm) to help, & only one man helped, and that's when I told him we would re-asemble my desk & grandchildrens bunk bed - because my cost was already at $1,070, and he asked for more money until I reminded him that they took a 1/2 hr lunch break. This is elderly and financial abuse. If he'd informed me that there was only 2 men, I would've required 4, or used a company that would provide 4 movers. Of course, I believe that if I were a man, there would've been 4 men anyway! Greed is the downfall of many businesses, and Karma is real. Yaya

Absolutely atrocious customer service. The person taking my estimate kept talking over and interrupting me and made me feel like I was wasting his time. I asked him to send me an email of the quote, he interrupted and said he already gave it to me, sounding very annoyed. He wouldn't let me explain that I was not home and couldn't write it down.

This was the best moving experience I have had. The management at my old apartment caused major delays, so i was worried about running out of time. But the movers hustled so that I could be finished moving before time ran out. They got everything moved in record time, even in the pouring rain and the delay that wasn't their fault. They ensured that my stuff remained dry and in perfect condition. I would recommend them to anyone.

The price was reasonable and they were able to get me in quickly which was a blessing as I have been going through a lot and really needed the service done ASAP. I would recommend this moving company to any of my friends or family that are moving. I moved to a city 30-45 minutes (depending on traffic) outside of my previous city. They were able to pick up, drive and drop off my belongings in 2 hours and 15 minutes. The (2) movers were nice and respectful individuals. This is an awesome company to hire to help you with your moving needs.

This was one of my best moving experiences! The guys arrived early, moved quickly, and were extremely careful with my things! I had 3 rooms and about 12 Large (and heavy) boxes that needed to be moved 45 mins away, up 2 flights of stairs (with no elevator) to my new apartment. They were able to complete the job in 4 hours flat! It was not like some moving companies where they take forever and use the clock to work you out of more money (they are also on Groupon)! Can't speak for anyone else but I will definitely use them again ...

JJ Movers did a good job with our move. They two guys were early, efficient, helpful, and fast. Once I placed my boxes in a central area, they moved my two-bedroom home in their truck in 45 minutes!! Once we arrived at the new location, they followed my instructions and placed the boxes in the labeled room with no problems. I would definitely recommend their company.

This moving company is great! I've moved 3 times in DC with other moving companies (and the same amount of stuff). JJ charged the best rates and got everything done the quickest. They had my entire 2 bedroom condo moved in only 3 hours. Also it was much easier to get a quote from them, and no hidden charges at the end of the move. Great company.

Best value and very punctual but they will totally disrespect your belongings. They don’t wrap anything and disregard that boxes are labeled as “FRAGILE” or “Kitchen.” My sofa has several scratches, and some of my nightstands are chipped and scuffed. They misquoted the price of the move because of poor planning (I assume) and ended up charging me $130/hr!!! Then, he had to audacity to ask me to help out with the move and lifting, so they can move faster, and I can lower the price. So what if I hurt myself? I’m so disappointed with this company. Move at your own risk!!!!!!

I had used their services a couple of years back. They are rude thugs especially the manager Mike. They broke my TV and stole some kitchen items. When I gave them a bad review on Yelp they suddenly had an upsurge of positive reviews. Obviously the owner or manager had his own guys giving his co. fake reviews. Loser also threatened to defame me. This co. is a joke. DON'T recommend them!

I am very pleased with this moving company. I’ve used them twice. They’re prompt , professional, speedy, and go the extra mile. They’re also affordable, so I recommend them to anyone. They moved me out of a one bedroom apartment with an elevator, to a two bedroom rental with stairs, and then a one bedroom with elevators again. I was surprised at how quickly they moved with the stairs, I was worried that that setup would slow them down, but they still made great timing with the whole move. Great service all around.

John and Jeff were amazing!! They moved very fast. We even ended up needing some help removing other furniture and trashing it... they helped us and did it for us without hesitation. It did take longer than intended so I would suggest you just make sure you know your time schedule better than I did. But it was definitely a delightful experience. I will use them again and again!

Awful - sales representative Jennifer was rude! I had to send several emails just to get a response.I specified what I wanted and she argued with me, the paying customer, then insulted me! I didn't follow on with using their company for service after attempting to work with her. If she worked for me and talked to a customer the way she spoke with me, I'd fire her. I can't speak to the abilities of the movers but if Jennifer is a reflection of them, they must be horrible too.

I found JJ Mover’s on Groupon and decided to utilize their services for my apartment move in early March 2019. The initial scheduling process was fairly simple and I was provided a general quote for my one bedroom apartment as well as the mileage. The owner was readily available throughout the process and even allowed me to send a write up of the projected boxes, furniture, and timeframes. This was very helpful in establishing a timeline for the move to take place. My move started and ended on time and they were very careful with my items. Even though only two guys were available for the move the entire processed was completed in a little over 2 hours considering that my move was to a third floor walkup I was impressed by how quickly they were able to secure and move all of my belongings. They even assisted me with removing a few pieces of old furniture from my old place to the alley outside of my old apartment. The next day the owner even came by to assist me with a few last minute items that I forgot to move during the initial process. Moving is often a difficult and stressful process, but I appreciate JJ Mover’s professionalism which made the process even easier. I have no doubt that I will use JJ Mover’s again in the furniture for all of my moving needs. Thank you again.

The workers came an hour early and dragged their feet to be paid for extra hours. My place was not completely cleared and I had to make extra trips alone to clear my apartment. While unpacking my belongings there were several things broken because they absolutely did not handle my things with care. My boxes were clearly marked with the word "Contains Glass" and "Fragile" but the team he hired gave to regard to that. I've called and text the owner with hopes of finding a solution, unfortunately he hasn't made any efforts to resolve, repair or replace my belongings. I will never use them again or recommend their services.
