I highly recommend these guys after they pulled off a very complex move for me. They drove from Baton Rouge to Alexandria, packed an entire truck full of furniture then made one drop off in Lafayette and then made two drop offs in Baton Rouge, all in one day! Things could not have gone smoother.

Friendly, efficient, and safe service. It was easy to schedule our move, the movers were at our location on time, and they adapted easily when a bit of our moving plan changed. They were very careful when moving large objects that could have damaged our walls, which was very appreciated. Also, there was never a moment that one of the three movers wasn't working - they were all eager and ready to do anything we asked. It was an office move with large office furniture. I'm sure they're just as great for residential moves. I highly recommend this mover!

Our growing firm hired Student Movers to move us across town on semi-short notice. Not only did Ryan accommodate our last-minute changes, but he also kept in touch to make sure we were on schedule, to see if we needed anything (more boxes), and to remind us of what we could do to make the move go as smoothly as possible. His crew arrived on time and got straight to work. These guys wasted no time. Move last Friday in Baton Rouge was great. Arrived on time and worked quickly and carefully taking care to not damage anything. No damage, not even a ding. All three movers were courteous, professional, and did an outstanding job of packing the truck tight and making the move smooth. Move was done in the estimated time which was a fair price. Only charged for the actual time to move. Movers took no rest breaks except while in the truck from one house to the other. It was a pleasure working with them. Ryan made the estimate over the phone which was right on, and was professional and helpful to me even though I called him often and even changed plans several times. That alone would cause me to use Student Movers again and to recommend them for your move. Sorry I didn't meet you Ryan. Thanks guys, you made something stressful a lot easier for us.

Moving is a stressful, exhausting undertaking. I have used Student Movers twice in the last 4 years and both times have been a very positive experience. The most recent move was last month. These guys arrived on time and immediately got to work and did not take breaks. They were polite and funny and very helpful. They went above and beyond their parameters and helped secure a sewing machine cabinet that was coming apart and wrapped a shoe organizer in plastic. They had me out of my old place and into my new place in 3 hours!! And this endeavor had STAIRS at both locations. I totally recommend Student Movers. Doug and Ryan run a professional operation.

Have to highly, highly recommend Student Movers. My husband and I recently moved from a fairly large home into another of about the same size and used the company. I can't say enough positive things. They were great. First of all, the price was far better than any of the other quotes I received. Always a plus, especially when there's no sacrifice in quality of service. The moving team was friendly and courteous but at the same time very professional. They worked quickly but paid attention to all details. They were also prompt, arriving at the scheduled time on both days we used them. We had some peculiarities with our move but Ryan and Doug worked with us to find a solution that didn't involve unnecessary hassle or expense. Truly appreciate that. We've moved 6 times in the past 25 years and I have to say this was the smoothest and least stressful experience we've had. Thanks guys!

Great experience! Spoke with Ryan on the phone - he had answers to all my questions and their rates were comparable to other local companies. We set up the move (from one house in Baton Rouge to another) and Ryan was great about accommodating my schedule. Jacques, Brian and Rodney came out this morning and loaded it quickly and efficiently. These guys know their stuff! They wrapped everything so nothing was damaged. They moved a houseful of furniture including a large antique rolltop and a piano in three hours. Can't say enough good things about this company and these guys. I highly recommend them.

I had to give them one star, as there was not an option for NO STAR!!! Very dissatisfied with this company and their customer service! My smart tv was damaged after asking the mover to cover it before taking it out, furniture was damaged with scrapes and chippings, and the leg from the dryer was detached. And I was asked to place it back. I have attempted to reach this company on more than 6 occasions via phone and I emailed regarding the damages. I still have not received a response nor any communication. I will NEVER use their services again and I STRONGLY advise others not to use their service either! It's easy for them to accept your business with a phone call but not answer when there is an issue.

Student Movers became my heroes when they turned themselves inside out to accommodate an out-of-state move for me same day! I needed to move the contents of my storage unit from Baton Rouge to Dallas, TX. I drove 8 hours from Dallas to Baton Rouge and paid for a hotel for the night so that I could meet the movers the next morning. I had to be back in DFW on Sunday and moved in so that I could start a new job on Monday. On my way, the moving broker informed me that the move would not take place that day and also refused to refund my sizable down payment. When I contacted David at Student Movers and explained my plight (with no expectations that anything would get done that day), he worked with his crew to rearrange their schedules to be able to load my things on Saturday and be in DFW on Sunday, while still honoring their time commitments to their other clients. The movers could not have been more courteous and professional, and they stayed in touch with me throughout the entire process so that I would know when to expect them. They loaded and unloaded carefully and efficiently. David and his team made the moving experience stress-free. I wholeheartedly recommend that you never look any further than Student Movers for your moving needs. Thank you so much, David and team!

GREAT GROUP of folks!!! Like many people, this is who I thought I was hiring when I was duped by S&S Movers who have been using this companies goodwill and good character by calling themselves Starving Students and using a Baton Rouge phone number BEWARE OF THE FRAUDSTERS. Their invoice says S&S Movers but they also go by Starving Student Movers, College Movers and S&S Movers. Everyone I have spoken to recommended this company to me but unfortunately, I was one of the ones that got hit by the thieves from Mandeville.
