First let me start by saying the movers themselves were great. Dealing with the people in the office was another problem. I started calling at the beginning of the month because I knew it would be a long conversation with lots of questions and of course they maybe busy. I talked to the first lady told her the day and time which was either Friday or Saturday at noon too early to know the exact date yet but I wanted info. Was told either was fine.
I called back about a week later with exact date and info. Took over a week to get back to me. Only to say they don't work on Saturday. This time it was a different lady who seemed to know more than the first. So I changed it to Friday. I had to set a date because I would only be in town for a few days. The set day was approaching quickly and I may not get to talk to someone again at the current rate of contact. But it threw everything off my rental vehicle, the time I got it, the drive from Houston. It was all a mess at this point. To make matters worse. I originally wanted noon but with the new date and new person I was put down for 9am. I'm driving from Houston after a flight from Oregon so that wasn't gonna happen.
I Called to tell them it needed to be noon but no one got back to me for days until I sent an email finally got a response, the day before the move, of "Sorry we start at 9am". Talked to a different lady in the office on the day of the move she said the same thing. It amazes me that the day of the move they are answering the phones! Usually it's just a person who has no answers and says we will call you back. We were the only people being moved that day but apparently they don't start later and it would cost extra now because of overtime!
So my advice to anyone reading this is to look at the place you are moving to and see if you are in their moving zone. Chances are you will be so contact them. My cost ended up being 700 dollars or so more than we had expected. I can't say how stressful and annoying deal with this company was. It just can't be put into words. Best of luck.
