The Coleman Worldwide Team, from the person who first contacted me after my online inquiry to the Sales rep who performed my survey, to the team that packed me, the team that picked up my goods and transported them, my move coordinator and the team that delivered and set up my furniture in my new home were professional and competent.i would definitely recommend Allied!!

Horrific experience. BE WARNED!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OUT OF HAMMOND, LA. Responsible for household move from Denham Springs, LA to Madison, AL. Pick-up portion of move would be 2 stars including the fact the crew waited until very late in the day to finally load a fabric sectional in the heavy rain, completely unprotected and then dropped a cushion in the rain; stated they would have the sectional professionally cleaned and boxed prior to loading it and all household goods in a container for transport. Goods arrived days late, new appliances and furniture severely damaged, everything unwrapped (not wrapped in the truck either!), items we wrapped were unwrapped and damaged, missing 15-20 boxes, boxes crushed, wardrobe boxes open and sides cut. The Hammond Office (Tanner Johnson, GM & John Combs, Sales Rep.) could not be reached on Saturday during this fiasco (no dolly and no ramp on the truck BTW). Monday morning, neither will take our calls and have yet to return our calls. Only refer us to Allied Customer Service. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS COMPANY. THEIR ACTIVITIES ARE HORRIFIC.

Avoid this company at all costs. I've lived in 7 states and counting, so I've done numerous long-distance moves. And, I have yet to find a company as bad as Coleman when it comes to on-time delivery (weeks late), damage to household items (many things damaged)... and the kicker was when I tried to file a claim for damaged items, my emails were ignored and my phone calls were not returned. Basically, once your stuff is delivered you'll never hear from them again. I dealt with an agent named Lanai. Nice as could be... until my stuff was delivered. Then all of my texts and emails were ignored. Seriously DO NOT hire them.

Everyone was very courteous and friendly....they ensured all of our belongings were taken care of from beginning to end from central Maryland to Central Pennsylvania. Great group of guys!!!!

We were assigned this company for our military move. Due to our location, we were assigned to the Jessup, MD branch of the company. I have never met movers so rude and worthless. The general manager, Rick Disanti has to be the most unprofessional manager there is. Somehow, it was decided that two 60-70 year olds to pack all of our stuff. For perspective, we are a family of 5 and were living in a large 2 story home with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. Our house was cluttered but far from "disgusting" as described by Thelma, one of the 2 movers they sent. She went out to her truck, called Rick (the manager) and refused to come back in. When I spoke with Rick, he was extremely rude and said he'd be sending quality control to our house and if it really was as disgusting as described, he'd see to it that we were cancelled. Rick explained to me that I needed to be considerate of the fact that our movers were older and had some knee and back issues and to help them as much as I could *if* they came back in after quality control left. Last time I checked, it is not the responsibility of the clients to do the job of the employees! If they were in such a position to need that help, why were they sent in the first place?! Quality control came. Low and behold, our house was....that's right....just fine. There was no reason for anyone to refuse to pack anything. Looking back, I wish we would have just told Thelma to get the hell out of our house. Our 7 year olds could have done a better job with much nicer attitudes. This woman had the nerve to pack my husbands wedding band he had left sitting by the sink. Well, sort of. It's yet to be found. The box she had listed it as being packed in was unpacked and gone through many times with no sign of the ring. As if that wasn't bad enough, she only went on to further demonstrate her amazing packing skills! She wrapped a 5 inch, plastic, doll house toy in 8 pieces of packing paper and taped all the way around it. Seriously, the number of boxes we opened to find things like this was almost unfathomable! Not to mention the boxes we opened to discover she had just thrown everything in. Moral of my review: if you EVER have to choose a moving company from the Jessup/DMV area, pick anyone else or do it yourself! My husbands wedding band is still missing and so many of our things have been discovered broken.

We were being transferred from southern Maryland to the Fort Bragg, NC area, and honestly if I had to do this over again I would have just moved everything myself. Having moved with the military previously, I can say this was the worst experience we could have had. The packers were to show up on Wednesday, the one lady got there at 9:30 am and states her partner was having car trouble but she would get started. 11:30-12 comes around she comes and says she has to go pick up her partner at the office, well that office is about and hour-hour and half from my home. 4 hours later they manage to come back. They were in my home till 10:30 pm, we lived in a 3 br 1 bath 1500 sqft house. As if this isn't bad enough, things just continue to to get worse. The movers show up the following day and begin packing our goods on the truck. I could tell there were going to be issues when the didn't wrap the Chester drawer and about lost it coming down the stairs when the drawers flew open. They were supposed to deliver Monday at noon, my husband took a day of leave to be at the house to receive our goods. They didn't show up till 7 pm and were throwing our belonging off the truck till midnight, sure the new neighbors appreciated this. I am hurt, and disappointed of the total disregard for the care of our belongings by these movers. Some of our furniture is expensive some not so much, but we worked hard to get what we do have and to have it abused and torn to hell by the "professionals" that were hired to move our belongings is heartbreaking. My daughters south woods reproduction chair, 1k$ value, had the leg totally snapped in half, the 200$ cat condo was snapped into in three pieces, my IKEA shelving unit that we've had 6 years, been only on carpet and was pristine when it left now has scratches and grooves all over the side, a hole punched in the top, our king size mattress has a hole torn in it, the ikea desk was broken in half and one piece put in my daughters room the other half in my sons, missing 1 leg to my daughters bed, cannot find the hardware to assemble our bed, everything was taken off the truck and just thrown in the garage or a room. Nothing was really taken to the appropriate room In the house because they were in such a hurry due to their poor time management skills. Our two extension ladders according the driver were "accidentally" left on the truck and he would bring them by on his next trip through. Well it's been a week and our ladders aren't here, so as far as I'm concerned, Antonio stole them. Boxes were thrown in the garage upside down and busted breaking my daughters glassware. This list can go on and on, all I can say is if you are moving from the Maryland area find someone else to do your move.

Coleman Worldwide Moving is a terrible company. From John Combs to Tanner Johnson, nothing but lies from the beginning to end. After receiving our belongings late, damaged and items missing, no one would return our calls. The ignorant males loading our belongings asked my fiancé to feed her after buying them lunch in hopes they would do a better job in handling our things. We were videoed in our home by the driver John Williams after confronting them for roughly handling and damaging our home and belongings during the loading process. Tanner Johnson threatened us with breach of contract after voicing our concerns that we did not feel comfortable moving forward with the move after seeing our dining room table legs broken during the loading process. Our couch was loaded in the rain, dropped in water and never cleaned or boxed as promised by Tanner Johnson. We received our items damaged and late. We paid for services we did not receive and we estimated roughly $7,500 in damages and losses after the move was completed by Coleman Worldwide Moving of Hammond, Louisiana. Our 10 month old washer, dryer and refrigerator were damaged during the move which was very upsetting. The saddest part is no one at Coleman really seems to care to reach out to us and make this right. Unfortunately for us, we now know who not to use.

Coleman Allied is highly recommended. We moved from MD to SC. They were prompt during our pick up day, efficient and cautious when loading and arrived on the day stated. Driver called us on delivery day 1 hr before arrival as a courtesy. Michael (the Driver) was the best.

Christopher Figiel

Some of the people they hire are dishonest and will steal from you. I would definitely go with a different mover next time

Coleman was contracted to store and deliver my home goods for a corporate move. While the estimating, packing, and loading services performed by the company at the origin of my trip was great, none of the services I received from Coleman were satisfactory. My home goods were well packed and secured when they left on the truck from my previous home, but they had been moved to crates and packed haphazardly, causing serious damage to many items, including a professional-grade toolbox. The movers did damage to my new home, including knocking over my mailbox, and completely ignored me when I went to talk to them about it. They have told my moving company that they made multiple appointments with me for packing material pickup, when no appointments were set - only drivers "on their way to my house right now" have called - one of which was a no-show. I am not confident that I would have received reimbursement for the damage done, had I not been contracted with a corporate account through a moving company. I would not recommend this service to a friend, and will avoid doing business with them in the future.

If there were negative stars I would give them that. Still waiting for a call back from tanner. After reading most of the reviews i probably shouldn’t hold my breath. He sent two guys to my apartment in Louisiana that one worked for 1 day and the other just a little over a week. Needless to say they didn’t know what they were doing. I was told if they had to pack me they would of just left. Excuse me? Didn’t i pay good money for this! My stuff was then delivered to Michigan and most of it was damaged. The company that dropped it off were in awe how things were loaded. Sounds like if I don’t hear from tanner on Monday I’ll be giving the better business bureau a call. Learn how to do business the right way instead of being shady!

Wow! I am in complete shock. 75% of my household goods are completely destroyed or damaged. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My shipment was over 2 weeks late and all of it was damaged, missing, or broken!

My family and I moved from MD to SC a few weeks ago. Overall, our experience with Coleman wasn’t great. People in the office were very helpful and the moving crew was very nice and helpful in general. However, on moving day, the driver coded much of our furniture as damaged and wouldn’t explain why and was upset when I asked about what the codes meant. On delivery day, some pieces of our furniture arrived damaged including one table leg that had been broken off and clearly glued back on. The driver took no responsibility for these damages and was upset when I inquired about how to claim damages. We wouldn’t recommend this company due to our overall experience.

Had Billy and Ryan handle my unaccompanied baggage move today and this has been, by far, the best experience I have had with a moving company. Had multiple items, including electronics and art, that held both great monetary and emotional value. They ensured these items were safely packed and even made a custom box for an oversized computer, so they could put extra padding in. Would definitely suggest this company for any futures moves you have.
