Very unhappy! They used two different people to load my things and then another crew to drop them off at our final destination. The second crew was unfamiliar with the furniture that was disassembled, did not put it all together, ripped my mattress, and to top it off, I had a fire arm that was stolen from the movers who said they packed it, and never responded after the move. Disgusted!! Stay away!

This is who you hire if you want it done right! Cenla Moving & Delivery was truly a blessing. Pastor Thomas and his crew answered the call. Moved us from Louisiana to Texas without any problems. They displayed so much compassion and care for our items and antiques!! No damage no problems. They have become part of our family and will always keep their numbers handy spread the word. They really went above and beyond and handled it all professionally. True professionals. Most friendly folks ever! Exceeded our expectations and put us at ease at such a stressful time. You can’t go wrong hiring them. We love them these guys!! Truly truly a blessing!

Do not use Cenla movers. They were supposed to come to my house at 9 am and did not get to my house until 1 pm. After moving for over 4 hours and causing me to be late to pick up my child from day care, they left to meet my husband at our new home 5 and a half hours away. He told me they were going straight to our new home. My husband stayed up waiting on him. At 3 am my husband called him and they said they would be there at 5 am. They did not show up until 7 am after my husband stayed up all night long waiting on them with no phone call. He told my husband that his employees needed sleep. That is completely understandable and would have been fine if he hadn’t told us they were going straight to my husband. So his guys got sleep but my husband stayed up all night long and then proceeded to help them move everything in while Mr. Wayne sat in the car. His employees were nice but the leadership was horrible and the business is not run well. This is just one example of why I don’t think anyone should use them. There are other reasons as well.

I called them for a quote and they came out the same day. They were able to come pack my things the next day and moved me the day after that. They were very courteous, quick, efficient and helpful. I definitely recommend them!

If there were a no star rating... that would be the one I would use. Don't let the Preacher part rope you into a false sense of thinking this company will do the right thing, they won't. Every piece of furniture I own has a reminder of my experience with Cenla Moving and Mr. & Mrs. Thomas (owners). Its been nearly 4 months since my 1000 mile move and I still have not had a return call regarding replacement of the broken glass table or the antique furniture repairs, TV replacement or any repairs of any nature nor any response to insurance information to even file a claim. NADA.... Not to mention that I had additional expenses because the drivers were not given enough money for gas to make the full trip. My move was a TOTAL NIGHTMARE! If you are even slightly considering using this company...DONT! I have plenty of photos and video to prove why you shouldn't. I have even reported them to Thumbtack. I won't be using them either for referrals. Do your homework and research. I wish I had of done it before and not after the fact.

Horrible experience! They scratched my floor and and several pieces of furniture. One of the movers even lit a cigarette on my stove bc he didn’t have a lighter!
