We used this moving company to move our house which was 3 floors and used 2 trucks.. They were all very professional and nice guys. Everything arrived in same condition and their quote was just about dead on, just a 100 dollars off which is nothing!! Would highly recommend. And just to set the record straight from a review I read on here they are located in the old JD Taylor building, however they are not associated with that company AT ALL! I know I used JD Taylor once they were awful people and thieves!

We used this company to move our family of 4 this weekend. I can't say enough good things! When calling to schedule with them, they were kind and professional. The day of the move, they were on time. We had 3 movers, Phillip, Matthew and Dastin. All three young men were friendly, professional, and efficient. Everything was moved without damage and to the correct space. They were motivated and energetic (a refreshing change from the moving company we use before - late, slow, and creepy)- not all companies are good so don't risk your move- use Neutz! :) highly recommend!

On 12/30/16 Jamie, Mike and Alex performed our move, from a 3rd floor apartment to a 2 story house with basement. Not a single complaint about all those stairs!! All our worries and anxieties about moving faded away the moment I met them. Each of them acted extremely professional, polite and genuinely cared about our belongings as if they were their own. From the first Hello, I felt we were in the best hands with trustworthy, ethical guys whose positive attitudes took away 99% of our suspicions and uncertainties about hiring a moving company. After wrapping each furniture piece in a blanket, they carefully loaded their truck. At the destination, with my directions as to where each item goes, they had that truck unloaded in no time at all. It was the most efficient move I've ever been a part of and it's all thanks to the guys! The whole thing took 3.5 hours LESS than what the moving estimate was!!

I would think twice before using this moving company. We hired two movers to move approximately 8 items from our house into their storage unit. We were quote a price by the owner's son and the final moving bill ended up being approximately $100 more than what they quoted. The two movers that came to move our stuff dented and scuffed our walls pretty bad and when we retrieved our belongings from their storage facilities, they continued to charge us the monthly storage fee. It should be noted that they did send someone over to fix our walls, but I was left to paint the repairs.

I have used this company twice, 1 for local and other for long distance. I used both packing and moving. The packers are great Erin was involved in both moves and Chris helped with this last long distance pack (they were both so kind and very efficient). The 3 guys on my last move (Tyler, Philip, and Alex J) were fantastic. They were very good at moving everything out of the house, loading so carefully that nothing was scratched or broken when the load arrived in Texas. They were very nice to talk to and they worked very fast. There was a little joke going on the whole day about (ask the beard), and we all had laughs with that, (they know what it meant) Lol. I recently had an unacceptable experience with Neutz sons and daughters moving. The first issue as small as it was is still to be considered poor customer service. I ordered 2 garment boxes and they were not brought when they came to move me the first time. (We were moving our belongings to their storage facility until we closed on our new home and were able to move in) We were told the garment boxes were not on our contract, as if to say we hadn’t asked for them. Our options were to wait to pack our clothes until someone could deliver the boxes to us or get our own. Of course we pay by the hour so i refused to chance how long it would take them to deliver the boxes and us get the clothes packed and hauled off. During this same move my husband had a pile of items set to the side and told the mover that was ‘in charge’ that those items were not to be packed and that was why they were separate from everything else. Either the guy wasn’t listening or has poor communication with his subordinates because our internet router and cable boxes all got packed on to the truck. Those services were cancelled and the router and boxes were due to be returned within a week of the cancellations. We had to wait for them to get our belongings to their facilities and unload them into storage and find these items. We moved on a Friday. I called on that Saturday to inquire about them. Their recording states that they have office hours from 8-5 Monday through Saturday. It wasn’t until the next week did I hear from the office that they had located our router and cable boxes and they could be picked up from their office anytime. They didn’t even so much as apologize for the inconvenience of having to drive to their office for what was a mistake on their movers part, having been told not to take them in the first place. Also for this move they estimated us to have less than a full truck load of items. They couldn’t even fit everything onto their truck. My husband had to take several car loads of items and store them at my parents house. Now recently we had them move our items into the new house. There were 3 movers, the mover that was in charge of my earlier move was one and two new ones. The newer two were very lazy and slow. Not a care in the world that they were paid by the hour or perhaps that is why they seemed to take so long.... It was taking so long that my husband began just directing everything to the basement so they would get done. Aside from the lack of urgency this team had there were several issues with our belongings that we noticed as they came off the truck. Starting with my bedroom furniture. We had a bedroom set that was sauder and less than a year old in pristine condition. It was evident by the condition in which they were returned to us that they A) didn’t store our items in a climate controlled facility & B) stacked heavy boxes on top/ roughly handled them during each move. Our dresser and chest of drawers each have the backing hanging off. You can touch them with one finger and they very easily wobble back and forth and the dresser itself is completely warped. The drawers are leaning to the center as if something heavy was piled on top. When my husband mentioned it to the mover the guy stated ‘it’s pressed wood and that happens’. I find it outrageous that this guy would imply there was nothing that could have been done differently to make sure my belongings were returned in the condition I released them to their care in. Also I highly doubt this is the first time they have transitioned furniture like this. I firmly believe had we moved this dresser straight from house to house it wouldn’t be in such a state that I can no longer use it.

The unloading crew consisted of Ryan G., Matt G., Tyler M. And they did an excellent job. Arrived later than originally scheduled (11:30 vs 10:30) but didn't affect their performance. The loading crew consisted of Ryan G., Matt G., Tyler M., and Mike., (and one other person) and they all did a great job as well. The packing crew, headed by Lizzy did a great job as well. Very thorough, efficient and organized. As a whole, I was very impressed with the service I received from Neutz-from the competitive pricing, to communication/follow ups, storage and actual move. I called Neutz and talked with a wonderful person on the phone who walked me through an estimate. She gave me all the options and choices I could want or need. We actually moved a lot of boxes ourselves but saved our many antiques and nice furniture for them. I called the week before to confirm everything and they lowered the estimate and we settle the day of the move. The 5 guys that moved us were incredibly professional and nice. It could not have been smoother. I gave their name to an office mate who moved a month after we did and he loved them.

We used Edward Neutz Sons and Daughters moving company this past week and we couldn't be more pleased. Their team of movers were extremely friendly, kind and professional. They took extra care of our furniture and boxes of items and we had a lot of stuff. We moved in to a new house and we did not find any damage to newly painted walls or to any of our property they moved in. Mr. Neutz was VERY nice to work with and the moving fee was competitive. I highly recommend this company!!!

Well, many months later, and we're either still finding out something is missing or broken. I don't know where to start with this review. We had used the moving company that Neutz apparently took over, so we thought we'd be as pleased with them as we were with the previous company. They are very friendly and seem to be very responsible, when you *first* meet them and start signing contracts. It's after the work begins that you better not take your eyes off of them: They will start moving things you told them not to move yet, but you will still have to pay for the time they spent doing something you told them not to do. That starts adding up pretty fast. They will break things. I made a list, and there are more than 25 items, which, in total added up to more than $5,000. Wow. $5 k in damage to very nice furniture, shelves, tables, handcrafted items -- and then they charge you for that much, for the moving expenses. They hurriedly put everything in the new house, not necessarily asking where to put it, so in most cases, they just put it all in the storage area in the basement. It took days to move all the things back off the shelves and put them where they actually belonged. And yes, we had to *pay* for all those hours of work they did, when they weren't following directions (again) and wasting time! Even after all the months it's been since our move, we continue to discover something is missing. They said that they'd report the items they had broken on moving day, after they returned to the office. I am quite positive that their boss never heard anything about items that were completely destroyed. They probably never even got written down completely. And then there was the trying to *hide* mistakes. If you're putting something together for someone and are not sure how to assemble it, don't just guess, and then break it. *But wait -- I bet no one will notice, if I just hide the broken parts by the wall, in the corner of the basement. These homeowners will never notice all the damage, until we're long gone, once the move is over.*. Yes, they actually collected what they had broken and stashed it in area where they probably assumed no one would notice. Well sorry, guys -- we're a lot more intelligent and observant than you think. I always pull for the local businesses and try to hire them, if possible. Unfortunately, in this case, I simply cannot recommend this moving company to anyone. Sorry, Mr./Ms. Neutz. I hope you take much greater responsibility in the future. Moves are expensive, as are broken/lost items. Most of us cannot afford those thousands of dollars to replace it all.

These people are a nightmare. I hired them to put my place back together after the hardwood flooring people I hired had moved everything out of the way to refinish the floors. One thing the flooring people did was remove the vent covers. Since I hired Neutz to do everything, I assumed they would put the vent covers back in place before moving my things. They did not bother to do so, and one of the movers stepped right in the hole while moving and left a huge hole in the plaster between the first and second levels. No only did the movers not apologize, but they were nasty to me about it. I asked them to leave and they stormed out, leaving my front door wide open. I called over the phone to complain and they told me it was my fault. How is it possibly my fault that the movers could not exercise basic common sense?!? I am going to have to spend $400 repairing the hole they made, and they left before doing the job that I hired them to do. Completely inexcusable. To make matters worse, they still charged me for the full hour when they were there all of 10 minutes. I have since checked their positive reviews, only to find that nearly all of their positive reviews were made by people who have only made that one review. Clearly, they have created a bunch of different email accounts and written positive reviews about themselves.

We can't recommend Neutz Sons and Daughters Moving enough. We moved on New Year's Eve and it was raining periodically during the day. Delquan, Kreg, Donny, Dastin, and Cardale did a fabulous job in preparing all of our items to deal with the elements. Every couch was covered and none of the antiques that we have were broken! Everything was wrapped in moving blankets and then plastic wrap to protect it. I can't say enough about the professional work they did. Each member of the team was polite, kind, and very easy to work with. Thanks for keeping great employees on staff that get the job done right!

On the day of my move, I had cash stolen from a money jar sitting on the kitchen counter and MY SON's PIGGY BANK was EMPTIED as well!! I have tried contacting this company and, of course, not one person has returned my call. I have filed a complaint with the BBB as well. Not only did one of movers STEAL MONEY, they broke and damaged items and hid it! UPDATE - I was contacted by the owner of the company after this review was posted. (Google reviews seem to catch the attention more than a BBB complaint and a phone call to the company directly.) I explained to him that, not only was I stolen from, my CHILD was as well. He offered to replace the money that was taken from both my money jar and my son's piggy bank (I did receive a check in the amount taken). He also assured me the individual responsible for this was terminated. (I hope so because to steal from a child is just low moral character. I truly hope karma finds this individual.) Replacing the money and firing this person responsible does not change the fact it happened in the first place, therefore I am not changing my one star rating of this company. The company may not be responsible for the actions of an individual, but they are responsible for holding their employees to a higher standard and the consumers trust.

Just a follow up on my wife's review (and Neutz's response) from a couple months ago.....To date (3/3/17) we still have not received the $100 compensation we were promised. I have left too many voice mails to count. No one ever answers the phone when I call. So I have given up. I ended up paying to replace the entire kitchen floor (b/c the buyer of my house obviously would not accept a broken kitchen tile that couldn't be fixed). We have a friend moving this weekend and they asked me who we used. I obviously could not recommend Neutz.

We recently hired this company to load our ABF trailer for an out of state move. Although the guys were friendly and polite I certainly can not recommend this company based on their loading of our trailer. First of all there was a good 2 to 3 feet of space left at the top of the trailer. This caused us to pay for more footage in the truck than was estimated by our shipper. Also all of our cherry wood furniture was damaged in the move (I'm talking big gouges out of the wood). And they packed boxes marked fragile on the bottom of stacks of other boxes. They went room by room rather than paying attention to the contents of the boxes. So fragile figurines and crafting/art supplies were damaged as well. Finally when taking apart the French door refrigerater and sleigh bed they did not keep all of the screws with the the item even though I gave them baggies which were supposed to be taped to the item. Now I'm in my new home 1300 miles away trying to find screws to put my refrigerator and cherrywood sleigh king bed back together.

I recently contacted Neutz and Sons for a local move for my daughter; who was moving from a 1 bedroom apartment on the 3rd level to another 3rd level unit. Ryan G and Ryan N were very personable and did a very good job in 90+ degree weather; they finished the job in the quoted timeframe and all the furniture and boxes were moved with care with nothing be damaged. Then they moved a 3 bedroom upstairs apartment to the truck in lightning fast time. Wow! This company exceeded my expectations! I called around to several moving companies and Neutz Moving Co. beat the price of everyone -- significantly!! Still, I was a bit leery. With such an affordable price, surely I would "get what I paid for" and service would be lacking. Totally NOT the case. Billy and Dion showed up right on schedule. They came in, surveyed the items to be moved and then quickly got to work. I was impressed with their professionalism and the care they took with our home. They bubblewrapped a few pieces to prevent scratching and actually moved a few more totes that were not on my original estimate. They were positive throughout and actually finished ahead of schedule. Billy & Dion did a GREAT JOB (and saved us quite a bit of manual labor in the process). I highly recommend this duo and the company as a whole. In fact, I've already bragged so much to friends and suggested they look you up when they're ready to move!

I was a furniture mover for 11 years. So i know good movers when I see them. Phil, Micheal S., and Tyler are very well trained. They were quick, careful and professional. They packed the truck very carefully and efficiently. It then had to be moved into my storage facility. They did a great job making sure everything fit it the space I had rented. The moving truck broke down as soon as it got on the highway. Someone from their company called to tell me what was going on and apologized. The kept me updated about every 45 minutes. They ended up off loading onto another moving truck and the delay was kept to a minimum. They did all this in the rain and kept my furnishings dry. I highly recommend this crew to anybody wanting to move! I was extremely happy and satisfied with their company from start to finish. The got to my house when promised and came in under the estimated time (when deducting the time for the truck breakdown). And of course, they did not charge me for the time that the truck was broke down.

We paid an additional fee for them to move a gun safe. During the move they dropped the same and broke a ceramic tile in my kitchen. Since we didn't have the same tile for replacement, Ed Neutz (the owner) told me there was nothing he could do!! So I'm left w/ a broken tile. I would NEVER recommend them!

Moving is the worst, which is why we never plan on moving again. But if we have to, we'll definitely hire Neutz again because they made the whole process much less stressful and intrusive into our lives. They packed us up and moved us in only two days - no living with boxes and packing tape for weeks before the move. Kreg, Jaimie, Paul, Dion, and Justin were professional, polite, careful, and hardworking. I especially appreciated that they communicated well, but they weren't helpless and didn't need constant babysitting. Couldn't have had a better experience. I hope you don't have to move, but if you do, hire Neutz Sons and Daughters to do it for you.

A crew from Neutz moved some new neighbors in. They blocked the alley by which we access our garage. When my wife asked if they could move, they were rude, telling her to drive around the block to come in from the other direction. After they were made to move by city sanitation workers, I saw that they had pulled the truck into the grass beside my garage, leaving deep ruts. I called the office that evening and left a message, then again the next afternoon. Neither message was returned. Still awaiting a phone call, and repairs to my yard, several days later.

We had a terrible experience! Bad customer service all request weren't fulfilled only 2 movers for a 3rd floor 3 bedroom apartment with washer dryer, living room and dinning room! Didn't bring wardrobe boxes they had to be bought later during the move only 3 of 5 requested was bought. Had to move remaining clothes in vehicle. Master bed put together wrong movers left legs to king size bed board ended up breaking. Had to go to office next am to complain it was fixed same day. Hardly any compensation for move after 1 mover had to be replaced for family emergency. Unfortunately this post is several months after move still upset thinking about it!

Overall, we had a good move. No damage discovered to date on our fragile items, and they were very good at picking up and delivering when promised. The movers were hard workers, and did their best to accommodate us on picking up the boxes (after I broke them down). However, we did have a long scratch on the surface of our newer dining room table. I called them several times to come out to look at it (Mr. Neutz himself handles scratches and dents, so I understand). On one of my calls, I managed to speak with Mr. Neutz, who promised me he would check his schedule and get right back with an appointment. He never called back - and I learned on my next call that he was "on a trip" but would be back the following day. I left a message - but no response days later. I guess once they've been paid, they are done with you.

Recommend above all other moving companies. We move a lot and this was by far the best experience. The technicians, Billy and Deion, arrived promptly at our home in Ashland KY. After packing the truck for about 2 hours, they returned to the Louisville/Southern Indiana area. I would not use this company if I were you. Especially if you're like 90% of the country and have "particle board furniture". They do not insure anything made of medium density fiberboard, which is nearly everything made these days. My almost brand new bedroom set came back completely ruined. It was obviously not stored in the climate controlled storage they advertise. Humidity has swollen the pieces and left them soft and unstable. Most of my boxes were crushed and the ones clearly labelled "this side up" were placed wrong side up. Not only will they ruin your items and not have the decency to apologize, they send thuggish characters to your home to handle your belongings. One of the movers had an antifa tattoo on his arm. 0/5 stars would be the proper rating for this company.

Wow! This company exceeded my expectations! I called on a morning needing a "light" move for later that afternoon. I didn't think it would be possible, but Erin put together a two man team in 20 minutes scheduled for a few hours later. My movers, Brandon and Paul, were fantastic. My move wasn't so "light" after all, and they even helped me pack up stuff that I was going to do at a later time so it could all be done in one trip. They had already worked multiple jobs that day, and I can't imagine how tired they must have been. But their professionalism and positive personalities didn't show any signs of fatigue. I would have been super crabby if I showed up for a small move and ended up having to pack a girl's closet and other unexpected items, but they were polite and hard working. Super helpful people. They saved me a lot of hard work. Great company. I will recommend to all my friends and family.
