Had a move done a few days ago. The guys were great, very friendly amd comfortable to be around. They moved us under our estimated time frame which was a huge blessing and financial relief. We even left the bed rails to my sons bed on the truck and they notified me before I even noticed and brought them over promptly after. My only complaint is while unpacking today I unwrapped my pyrex pie pans and all 3 of my pans were shattered, my pyrex baking dish was so shattered it looked like crystals in the box as well as a few small bathroom pictures. Not just cracked, shattered in multiple pieces. I haven't unpacked all my glassware yet but when I noticed I called my husband and he said he saw one of the guys drop a few boxes off the dolly while going down the stairs and then another box from the top of the dolly while going into the truck. I hear a comotion but I'm just disappointed that I was not informed personally about the accident, I understand accidents happen but I am a bummed that ALL of my pie pans were destroyed, hopefully nothing else is broke. Updated 3/23 I am giving this company a 5 star because after a little mishap during our move Mr. Markesbery more than made up for the loss of my items. He was more than generous in his offer to make things right, that to me is worth more than a review can show. For a problem to arise and the company not come forth and make an offer instead they ask you what you want is an insult to me and I am very happy that Mr. Markesbery saw the issue and stepped forward himself to make the situation more than right. I greatly appreciate and respect him for making sure that we were satisfied and we will definitely be using him for our next move! Thank you!

OMG I trusted this company with my personal things. Everything was great until my stored furniture was moved from Florence Kentucky to Bradenton, Florida. My furniture and home furnishings were In presten condition. I was flabbergasted at the nicks and scraps in my furniture when it arrived in Florida. Manager/ Owner To me Can you tell me the estimated price of what was damaged Really Example Iron skillets packed with lamp shades. Crystal wine glasses my deceased husband had given to me Who has a receipt for this like that in there pocket. All I heard from manager, give me a value Memories of cherished items, How do I put a price on it Next Prove I even though they broke them They wanted me to look up $$ value on line Again how do I look up things that were given to me from my deceased husband. Crushed. My tables , hat rack, end tables, coffee table Scratches, dings, marks on them that was not there they day my things were packed up. Please if you cherish your things don’t go with this company. You will be left with scratches dings paint scraps. Yes they did pay me for (in there words my loss) No no on not anywhere near what I lost because I dealt with this company. I lost valuable memory items that will never be replaced. Karen Banker

The men who came to move were incredibly efficient and extremely kind. They made a stressful and dreaded experience go way more smoothly than I could have expected! There were a few hitches, but we moved 1800 miles. Everything worked out fine in the end. We had heard nightmare stories about other's moving experiences, but had none of that at all. We would highly recommend them to anyone making a move.

What a wonderful experience and team of movers. They were so polite, considerate, and careful. There was salt on our sidewalks and driveway from the recent snow, and these gentlemen worked hard to keep our floors clean and free of everything. They even went above and beyond and avoided going around through our yard to our walkout basement with an incredibly heavy piece of furniture--which would have been easier on them, but they instead went down our narrow staircase and didn't bump a thing! This was how considerate they were: they didn't want to go through our yard and track all the wet snow into our finished basement, so they chose the harder route because it was better for our family. Just every step was above and beyond. I am 5 months pregnant and they made me feel so relaxed about the move. We will definitely recommend them to everyone we know, and use them anytime we need anything moved or stored!

I used them last Friday! The guys were very polite and stayed busy the whole time to waste my time which equaled money!!! I hired then for 2 hours and they sat my last piece down in 1 hour and 55 minutes!!!! Defiantly would recommend and use them again!!!

This is an outstanding company that took exceptional care of our belongings and home! They pad wrapped everything inside the home and kept it pad wrapped while carrying it back into our new home!! They were extremely professional from the very first phone call until the last piece of furniture was delivered!!

In August 2012 I contacted Marksbery Allied for a moving quote. We were moving from Union, KY to St. Louis, MO. I felt that I received friendly professional service from the initial phone call up until the actually moving date. I made several trips to the office to gather boxes and packing materials (all of which were include in the service) and was treated with great customer service. September 3, 2013 was our official moving day. The truck arrived at approximately 9:00 am, with a team of 7. Special attention was taken to insure that our hardwood floors and wall surfaces were protected, as well as the carpet. After one hour of preparation, the work flow began and at approximately 3:00 pm the truck was loaded. The guys were all very professional and friendly. Chris Jones was our van foreman and driver. He gave us his card with his contact information and encouraged us to call with any questions. He gave us an estimated arrival time and arrived within the hour that he told us. The other guys arrived before the truck and were ready when Chris arrived. We discussed how we would like our stuff put in certain rooms and the boxes were labeled. The guys did a great job insuring that the boxes were put in the correct rooms. We had large, heavy commercial size tools that required being moved to a mini storage a few blocks away and the guys happily did that. The weather was around 90 on moving day and the guys were extremely hot, but they never complained and never slowed down. Moving is a pain and a major hassle, but Chris and the Marksbery Allied team took a lot of the stress away. If our plans call for a move in the future, we know for sure who to call: Marksbery Allied with Chris in charge. Special thanks to all, especially Chris. Ken & Perri Cook

Professional, Courteous, Officiant, On time and Affordably Priced. I have used them two times now and i can't recommend them enough. Everything they did they did in conjunction with us. They sorted boxes into appropriate rooms and everything. They were able to move our entire 2br apt. in only a few hours.

We moved from Edgewood Kentucky to Florida. Marksbery moved me in 1996 and did a great job. Not this time. Packing was haphazard and rushed (we had a 9000 sq ft home ). Storage was fine. The final move to Florida was a disaster! Three lamp shades made of glass were damaged beyond repair. These lamp shades are irreplaceable. A tripod for my astronomical binoculars was damaged and is unusable. They packed two glass lampshades with a couple sheets of wrapping paper! Unreal!! No other protection! In return for our losses, they sent a check for $180.....they told me that was more than the industry standard. I am not concerned about the money, we have lost invaluable lamps and a tripod. This moving company was sloppy and careless as far as we are concerned and if you have anything that you value...well good luck. Should be no stars.. John S.
