Hired them to move all my heavy things to a moving truck. I had several items already in the truck and told them the things on the truck are breakable be careful. I thought all was well until we unloaded our truck 3000 miles later .They picked up very heavy antique trunk we had already loaded and had situated and set it on a handpainted antique dresser that was also in it's permanet spot. The dresser is ruined, anyone with respect for our things would not have stacked the one on top of the other. Total let down.

We paid four humans to unload our truck and move it into a storage unit. I didn’t think it would fit but they staged it and moved it in great. Four days later it is still there. What more could you ask for. We will use them again when it all gets done again. Peace

We have moved a number of times, and this was our best/easiest move ever. Starving Artists Movers gave me a quote and stuck to it. Craig delivered boxes to my house (the exact number needed!). The movers were prompt, nice, and super efficient. It literally went without a hitch. I am hoping never to move again, but if I do, I will certainly call Starving Artists. I recommend them highly.

I have used Starving Artist 3 times for moving and had major issues 2 of the 3 times, including damaged property, missed dates (on two different occasions) and incorrect charges (I was charged for 3 movers when only 2 arrived). I would not use this company again.

Highly recommend! Respectful, courteous folks who work quickly and are very careful with your stuff. They were very helpful. Unloaded my truck quicker than they thought they would, so I was charged much less than the estimate. The online estimate tool was easy and communication with the co. prior to my arrival was great....update: I had them load my moving truck for me a year later and they were just as good as the first time. If you don’t hear back from them through the online form, give them a call!

They were by far the most reasonably priced, arrived when they said they would, worked quickly and efficiently, were super nice, very careful (more careful than I would have been), and what I paid was really close to what they had quoted me. I was very happy with their service and will hire them to do my next move.

These folks were amazing, showed up on time, moved everything safely as advertised. Also, they quoted me an accurate price (no hidden fees) when I moved. We even noticed that the platform our bed rested on was missing a couple of screws after it arrived at the new place. The movers couldn't find them in the truck. They went off-clock, ran to the hardware store got the needed screws and came back / fixed the issue for free. All while apologizing profusely for the missing screws. I was really impressed / touched. These folks actually knew that moving was stressful for us as well, and lessened our stress that day. I've used these folks in the past as well, and it went equally swimmingly. They're now my goto company whenever I need to move again.

Starving Artists Moving was fantastic. They were so professional, courteous, organized, hard-working, and careful. Everything was packed up efficiently and so carefully that not one thing was broken during the move. Despite the threat of rain, they agreed to proceed with the move when I indicated that was my preference. They checked with me about any concerns about packing and moving, and completely followed my directions about where to put things in the new place. Their attitude and effort were outstanding, and they were very reasonably priced too. My recommendation is to go straight to Starving Artists Moving and don't bother with other options: Go with the best!

This company got my moving date wrong (conflict between Web form and telephone setup), showed up a day early, and couldn't do it the day when I was expecting to move, so that would normally net them a terrible review because it was a horrible inconvenience. I was only half packed and hadn't slept, etc. (I work nights). However, they worked with me and we got it done on the fly. They helped me pack, they were super careful with my stuff, they were both unfailingly polite and considerate, and they did not complain about what was surely a lot of unplanned overtime for them that was not their fault. I've heard horror stories about movers who throw stuff around, but these employees treated my belongings as if they were their own. Only one thing got broken, and I was the one who broke it. I would hire them again, making sure to verify and reverify the date and time!

I had a little problem with the boxes, but the manager, Craig, sent a guy out to help with that, and also to move furniture around in the bedroom. Great price, terrible service. Multiple broken things due to inadequate packing, including our 60" flat screen. Every other moving company we have used hired a service to crate TV's, but not these guys. Everything took longer than promised. Many things were stacked in the garage for us to distribute in the house ourselves. We have emailed 3 times and received only empty promises of "we'll get back to you. " An apology and a "thanks for your feedback" at the very least would have gone a long way with me.
